“This is a local Chinese/Peruvian food restaurant that gives new meaning to Chinese food! This fusion of flavors is amazing! I’ve had the steak with tostones, their chicharrón de pollo & many other delectable dishes. They also have a nice bar & make excellent Pisco sours which I can’t find in too many places! I live in Rockland County & the hubby & I take the trip about monthly just to eat here! Nothing fancy about the restaurant but definitely good eats! Highly recommend! “After coming out of Thalia Spanish Theater, we crossed the street to Costa y Mar for dinner.
We were greeted by a very pleasant waitress who immediately sat us down after greeting us.
Once we ordered our food, the food was delivered promptly and it was delicious!!!
We ordered different entrees and they were all delicious and plentiful!!!
We found it to be a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back!!!

“Basic Chinese takeout with a twist, there's a Chinese Peruvian fusion. Basically the fusión is the addition of Rotisserie Chicken and ají verde. There are Sweet Plantains and Rice and Beans on the menu. The line is long, the food is fresh. The service is friendly and the prices are good.“

Tacu Tacu con Cabrito was an acquired taste that I was unable to stomach. I was only able to eat a few spoonfuls of the fried beans. The goat meat was good, though.“

We chose to share their Peruvian Chicken platter, a $60 combo with a whole grilled chicken that melted off the bone; a large salad with tomatoes, lettuce and avocado; and a large plate of freshly made French fries. It's hard to eat on the UWS for $30 these days, and we had plenty to take home, so we thought it was a great casual meal option. Menu also features ceviche and Latin dishes like beans n'rice and yucca, skirt steak etc. A diverse group of neighbors, some elderly, gal pals, students and couples were obviously enjoying their meals, too.“

Started light with Salchipapas — aka hot dogs and fries, because sometimes you just need that “kids menu” energy. Then came the fried calamari with yuca fries… which I’m convinced could bring world peace. 🌎🍟

Warmed up with Caldo De Gallina — rich chicken broth so comforting it felt like it knew my childhood secrets. 🥣

And then… the Seco Combinado — beef oxtail stew in cilantro sauce with beans and rice. One bite and I was ready to apply for Peruvian citizenship. 🇵🇪

“An excellent place to try real Peruvian cuisine! The best ‘Plato’s típicos’ from Peru are available and very well done!

This time I tried the ‘ají de gallina empanadas’ and as a main I get fried fish with garlic sauce (not in the Manu but they made it anyway!) it was delicious

I will come back and try ‘causa’ and ‘ají de gallina’ as a main.

The chef Carlos it’s a great human being and had the chance to meet him. Margee, the server it’s very attentive and it’s pending all the time.

“Stumbled upon Inka Fé because of their amazing reviews and the food did not disappoint. Not only was the food amazing but the staff was so friendly, patient, and accommodating. My mom and I got the a bunch of food to try because everything sounded and looked so good and everything we ate we would get again. We also ordered desserts that weren’t pictured but were so yummy (passion fruit mousse and chocoflan). Pictured is homemade sangria, shrimp ceviche in tostones cups, bistec al lo Pablo, lomo saltado, chicken wings with ceviche sauce on the side.“
