“I sat in for dinner on a Sunday evening. We had the seafood paella, the pesto pasta, and the Causa! The food was amazing. I didn’t know what I expect as I’ve never had Peruvian food but I think it’s my new favorite spot!! Ingredients were so fresh and flavors were incredible. The atmosphere was also very cute - great vibes, fun bar and good drinks. Highly recommend!“

“I went in the afternoon to eat and the food was delicious, they have a new menu and a new chef??, in the new menu they handle Peruvian/Japanese food and the “airport” dish is highly recommended, it was delicious, very good portion (two people ate and in the photo we had already finished half a plate because it was so delicious). At night I returned and the atmosphere was 10/10, the crazy hour spectacular, the music and the attention 20/10“

“This is a local Chinese/Peruvian food restaurant that gives new meaning to Chinese food! This fusion of flavors is amazing! I’ve had the steak with tostones, their chicharrón de pollo & many other delectable dishes. They also have a nice bar & make excellent Pisco sours which I can’t find in too many places! I live in Rockland County & the hubby & I take the trip about monthly just to eat here! Nothing fancy about the restaurant but definitely good eats! Highly recommend! The hubby &!I will definitely be back! 😋😋😋“

“I went to Tozton today to celebrate my birthday after seeing an ad on Tiktok and it was definitely a great decision.
The food was delicious, the sautéed loin, the green noodles, the pavilion, the ground beef cakes and the shredded meat cakes. Natural juices, drinks like margaritas and mojitos; on point, ten out of ten.
The attention of all the waitresses was excellent, they even decorated my table with balloons. Thank you Emily and Natalia for your impeccable service.
It was also easy to find parking near the restaurant. It is very spacious and tables can be organized for large birthday celebrations.
Totally recommended in Astoria.“

“The Mistura Peruano restaurant surprised us with its authentic Peruvian cuisine, full of vibrant and fresh flavors. The dishes were well presented and full of that traditional touch that we were looking for. However, at times, service times were a little slow, since the waitress was alone to serve several tables at a time. Still, the wait was worth it for the quality of the food.
Despite handling several tables at the same time, the waitress was incredibly attentive and friendly. His attitude and effort to offer good service did not go unnoticed. Their warmth and dedication definitely made our visit a pleasant experience.
Kid-friendliness: Good attention to children“

“Somehow even better than the reviews make it sound! We had just visited Peru a few weeks before visiting, so our expectations were sky high, and were massively exceeded! It's a proper local spot, too - no unnecessary faffing about with shiny decor or viral frills.
Unreal rotisserie chicken and pork fried rice - the chicken was possibly the best rotisserie I've ever had. The green sauce is is also just as good as people say - don't miss it. Plus, the Chicha Morada is authentic and delicious, a must order.“

“The experience was very good and the attention was even better. I went to eat a lomo saltado, but the waitress Rosa was very accommodating and showed me the special dishes, so I ended up eating a salmon bathed with seafood in sauce, which was tasty. In the end he offered me desserts and suggested the flan, which was very good. I will surely return!“

“Definitely one the best restaurants in the Brooklyn area. Has a unique cuisine & the atmosphere is very chill & service is great. My favorite dish is the Salmon D’ Oro which is a green rice wit peas & peppers, very well marinated & on top of rice is a crispy salmon & salsa criolla. I always look forward to coming here. Great Spot!“

“This place is good, certainly unique in their food fusion. I wouldn't say it has a "wow" factor and the BBQ ribs are pretty standard...it's missing something, like a sauce but worth a try.
Prices have gone up, attached latest menu.“

“As a Cuisine person, I could say that it is one of the best places according to the seasoning that I could taste in New York, respecting the tradition of our country, Peru, on my days off I go to have lunch there... I totally recommend it, menus and food within reach of the pocket... it is advisable to change the tone of the environment, very cold, added to the serious faces of the girl who serves and the cashier, the lady who is older than the one I sometimes see sitting, I think she has more encouragement than the 2 combined.. otherwise Excellent.. 10/10“

“Long time neighborhood favorite for roast chicken served with a tangy garlic sauce. Spacing between tables is generous, staff is nice and helpful, and there's a pleasant track of Peruvian Andes music to set the mood. We chose to share their Peruvian Chicken platter, a $60 combo with a whole grilled chicken that melted off the bone; a large salad with tomatoes, lettuce and avocado; and a large plate of freshly made French fries. It's hard to eat on the UWS for $30 these days, and we had plenty to take home, so we thought it was a great casual meal option. Menu also features ceviche and Latin dishes like beans n'rice and yucca, skirt steak etc. A diverse group of neighbors, some elderly, gal pals, students and couples were obviously enjoying their meals, too.“

“By far, it is one of the best restaurants in NYC. The Ceviche is the dish that speaks for itself. I was in Florida, San Francisco, Washington DC, Virginia, CT, New Jersey, but I never have eaten a Ceviche like it's is done at Chacras!
Chacras, you mixed the flavors perfectly on your Ceviche!“

“Whole in the wall with authentic homemade Peruvian cuisine. The Lomo saltado was tender and perfectly seasoned. The fried plantains were sweet and perfectly fried to a carmelized golden brown crust. The Aji sauce was the icing on the cake??. Spicy as it should be, not for amateurs.“

“I really love it here. The workers are very nice and the food is delicious. The decor inside is very cultural and has inspired me to visit Peru! The green sauce is delicious. Along with the rotisserie chicken and sweet plantains. I usually do take out or pick up, but one of these days I will sit down. They have an amazing bar too. Thankful to have them in the neighborhood.“

“Normally my go to Peruvian spot was Pio Pio on Woodhaven blvd which appears to have closed. I was craving Peruvian one night walking home from work and saw this place not far off the fresh pond M train. That was about a month ago and I’ve had it about 5 times since. I sometimes just go in to get some green sauce to throw on some leftovers and enhance any meal. Whenever I bring it into work everyone says how good it smells and asks where it’s from. If only they knew how good it tasted too which is why I took the time to write out this review. I must’ve passed the restaurant 100 times not knowing how good the cuisine is. Conveniently located in Ridgewood and with ample room to eat inside, this spot has become my new favorite Peruvian spot replacing Pio Pio by a landslide.“
