“I came to this restaurant with my family on Father’s Day and the service and environment were exceptional. Our server Claudia was amazing and very attentive to our needs. Our food came fairly quick. The music was very well known to the people. 10/10 service and food.“

“This is a local Chinese/Peruvian food restaurant that gives new meaning to Chinese food! This fusion of flavors is amazing! I’ve had the steak with tostones, their chicharrón de pollo & many other delectable dishes. They also have a nice bar & make excellent Pisco sours which I can’t find in too many places! I live in Rockland County & the hubby & I take the trip about monthly just to eat here! Nothing fancy about the restaurant but definitely good eats! Highly recommend! “Picked up a quarter baked chicken, a delicious salad with avocado included and some yuca fries before I went to the beach. I had my delicious Peruvian dinner watching the waves. I also had a lemonade the most delicious Limonada, it was prepared irl. Also has a nice bar set up and a cute background to take selfies. I really like this place. Hope they’re here for a long time. “I went to Tozton today to celebrate my birthday after seeing an ad on Tiktok and it was definitely a great decision.

The food was delicious, the sautéed loin, the green noodles, the pavilion, the ground beef cakes and the shredded meat cakes. Natural juices, drinks like margaritas and mojitos; on point, ten out of ten.

The attention of all the waitresses was excellent, they even decorated my table with balloons. Thank you Emily and Natalia for your impeccable service.

It was also easy to find parking near the restaurant. It is very spacious and tables can be organized for large birthday celebrations.

Totally recommended in Astoria.“

“They are always so kind and wonderful at this location. When ordering my take out order, the staffer was so kind and explained everything. I also had groceries with me so my hands were full. I sat down and waited. He then brought over the bags and apologized for the wait. Excellent service. Excellent food. Excellent ambiance. My food was fresh and hot still when I got home. I traveled an hour to this location from my house and it was worth it.“

“Long time neighborhood favorite for roast chicken served with a tangy garlic sauce. Spacing between tables is generous, staff is nice and helpful, and there's a pleasant track of Peruvian Andes music to set the mood. We chose to share their Peruvian Chicken platter, a $60 combo with a whole grilled chicken that melted off the bone; a large salad with tomatoes, lettuce and avocado; and a large plate of freshly made French fries. It's hard to eat on the UWS for $30 these days, and we had plenty to take home, so we thought it was a great casual meal option. Menu also features ceviche and Latin dishes like beans n'rice and yucca, skirt steak etc. A diverse group of neighbors, some elderly, gal pals, students and couples were obviously enjoying their meals, too.“

The Pollo a la Brasa is incredibly fresh and I absolutely love their sauces. “I really love it here. The workers are very nice and the food is delicious. The decor inside is very cultural and has inspired me to visit Peru! The green sauce is delicious. Along with the rotisserie chicken and sweet plantains. I usually do take out or pick up, but one of these days I will sit down. They have an amazing bar too. Firstly our waitress (sorry didn't get her name) was so friendly and we enjoyed small talk. Ordered fry rice and half chicken. It has to be the best we've ever had. The green sauce that comes with the food is so delicious. We will definitely be back more often and try different things on the menu.“

Started light with Salchipapas — aka hot dogs and fries, because sometimes you just need that “kids menu” energy. Then came the fried calamari with yuca fries… which I’m convinced could bring world peace. 🌎🍟

Warmed up with Caldo De Gallina — rich chicken broth so comforting it felt like it knew my childhood secrets. 🥣

And then… the Seco Combinado — beef oxtail stew in cilantro sauce with beans and rice. One bite and I was ready to apply for Peruvian citizenship. 🇵🇪
