“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“I went here with my brother. I loved it. Tea, dumplings, dessert (a sweet rice soup (soup?)). It was all good. I didn’t get any duck. I’ll have to come back for that. Very reasonably priced.“

“Black truffle fried rice and pan-fried vegetable dumplings were so delicious!, Owner and server were so kind and friendly, and owner (probably 🤔, every time I visit he does every duty lol) might cooked for us as well and wished our dinner pleasantly. “Din Tai Fung is one of those places where you know what you are going to order before you go. I expected the chocolate bao to be too sweet but it was really one of those bites where you’d just shocked how they got the taste palate right. While the price is a little steep for just 6 boa, I will still recommend it. Crab and Pork Bao was also a wow. It’s great to see real ginger and people making the boa right in front of you to know that you’re really eating fresh food. The flavors on that were very nice so much so that we got a second bao. Overall 8.7/10 because of price concerns but otherwise it is very flavorful food.“

“Literally ordered one item — their fried tofu vermicelli noodle soup — and was shocked by the portion size. A huge bowl of their tasty duck bone broth, bok choy incuded as well, and all for $5. In this economy? Insane! Will definitely be back to try more of their menu if ever in the area!“

“I was initially a little hesitant about a restaurant known for authentic Shanghai cuisine adding Sichuan dishes, but the food completely won over my Sichuan-loving friend! The green pepper duck was incredibly tender and flavorful, the golden broth beef came loaded with bean sprouts, tofu skin and glass noodles, and the Kung Pao chicken was delicious and very satisfying. The Shanghai-style stir-fried eel was silky, savory and practically melted in my mouth, while the okra with yam was a nice, refreshing balance to the richer dishes. Bonus: with a $30+ order, you can add soup dumplings and several other dishes for just $1—definitely a deal worth grabbing!“

“I lived in NY for 37 years and nothing beats the food. That being said, I moved to Florida 4 years ago for work and haven't been back until last week. We went in for Thanksgiving (work), and decided we would do take out for dinner. This place was amazing. Food is always what I expected.....New York food is the best. The staff was super friendly, the prices were not anything crazy, and the food was ready within 10 minutes. We brought it back to the hotel and ate all of it. I don't know how food is where you are, but they always bury it in rice. Not here. They gave so much chicken and pork on top of the rice, I was very satisfied. Highly recommended.“

“I have been eating at this restaurant since I was in Pre-K. The food is always amazing and the service is superb as well. The workers are so kind and really care about making your food taste great. “I LOVE this spot!! Everything is house made you can tell she makes her own dumpling wrappers!! Very mom and pop shop you can see the dumpling master herself in the kitchen! Everything is super flavorful and made with love! Can’t wait to go back can’t recommend this place enough!! My favorite are the pan fried pork and chive dumpling, pork crab soup dumpling, the beef bao buns and the beef and scallion pancake!!“

“This place has the best, most authentic wontons I've ever had outside of Shanghai. Both the small and large wontons are delicious. Every time I go I get the large wontons to eat and a frozen pack to go. They have a delicious lion's head meatball too. I'd go daily if I lived nearby.“
“Been here a few times for to-go orders. the quality is solid - dumplings are mostly consistent, as are the chicken dishes. The entree portions are good for the price. Very bare-bones seating area (2-3 small parties tops) but that doesn't affect the food.“
