“Stopped in for a gyro. As I was waiting I read the write ups about the restaurant and the owner. My hopes were high...and OMG the gyro was heavenly!!!“

She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It's rare to see such genuine, friendly service these days.

As for the food—wow, just wow! Beyond authentic! It tastes just like the food in Greece. The flavors were out of this world. Each dish was packed with so much taste, you could tell they used high-quality ingredients, and everything was perfectly seasoned. We ordered for four people, and everything came out fast—no waiting around here!

We dined in and the place is perfect in size just enough room to feed several parties!!

And let’s talk about prices under $90 for a hearty meal for four? Unreal. Great food, amazing vibes, and wallet-friendly prices? You really can’t go wrong here. I can’t recommend this place enough. Definitely going to be a regular!“

“Just went to Greek City Grille and ordered the chicken souvlaki platter with lemon potatoes. The chicken is perfectly seasoned and the lemon potatoes were absolutely amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and the place was so clean and decorated beautifully. Will definitely be coming back!“

“We ordered assorted gyros, souvlaki, tacos and baklava. The staff was friendly and the service was wonderful. Over all decent and accommodating to the greek culture with a twist of spanish. Only thing I would change is to add oragano salt and pepper to the gyros and don't blend the tzatziki makes it a bit pasty in texture but flavor was 7/10. The baklava less refrigerated time and more syrup not leaving the tops so dry. Would visit again.“

I had an incredible experience at Plateia GR! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that immediately set the tone for the evening.
The food was absolutely delicious — everything tasted fresh and authentically Greek. The grilled octopus was tender and perfectly seasoned, the meatballs were so moist and so good, and the gyro was delicious and full of flavor. The tzatziki and warm pita were the best I’ve ever had, and the galaktobouriko at the end of the meal was the perfect sweet finish.
What really stood out was the staff’s genuine hospitality — they took the time to explain the dishes and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed.

“We had a dinner party for my husband’s birthday. The service was impeccable. The staff were helpful, polite and genuinely nice to my guests. The Manager, Maria was exceptional. She made sure that we were well taken care of in every way. All our dietary restriction were met. The Owner, Dennis was very nice and accommodating from day one. He made sure we had a great time. “Came here for the first time yesterday, I always drive by this place and never went inside until yesterday. I tried the falafel sandwich and my mom had the pork, it was absolutely delicious. My Mom loved the pork, and I loved the falafel... actually it was the best falafel I have ever had. The food was so good that we came back today for lunch and ordered the same thing, but this time decided to get a side of their lemon potatoes...which were also delicious and I personally think they were the best I have ever had. The staff was nice and the owner even gave my mom a slice of cake for her birthday for free. I highly recommend everyone to stop by and eat there.“

“We spent our 25th wedding anniversary at Kyma and it did not disappoint! It was more than just dining- it was a whole experience! The service was phenomenal as was the foo, from the appetizers to the dessert. We ordered the Agean special. The watermelon salad was one of my favorites! After the meal, they brought us two beautifully prepared desserts. And then before we left, the manager spent time talking to us and getting to know us on a more personal level. “Greek Cove Merrick’s lunch special is incredible. Ate the warm pita in the car on the way home! Grilled chicken with a salad and rice. One huge chicken cutlet over a generous portion of delicious rice and a tasty Greek salad- with a grape leaf and feta! I am a very picky eater but this chix was seasoned beautifully, so that if garlic, onion or rosemary(my triple threat) was used, it all blended together perfectly so that even I could not pick out the offensive spice. Amazingly, the yogurt sauce is also tasty( I hate yogurt sauce;usually throw it away). Forgot to tell them not to give it to me, so as not to waste it, but I’m glad I forgot! All of this, and a lot of smiling happy employees, for $12.99 cash. Wowza.“

“Had the best night. The food was phenomenal. George and his wife were so welcoming to my family and I. Sat outside in a beautiful outdoor gazebo. We are New yorkers who moved to Florida 13 yrs ago and we are in for the Christmas holidays. I highly recommend this restaurant. Best food and service was amazing. so clean we felt so safe with the pandemic going on. Wine was so good. George was so great and went out of his way to please us. “Today I tried the half lemon chicken from Avli, and I have to say, it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. If you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend giving it a shot—definitely a great addition to their menu!“

The lunch rush is just that - a lunch RUSH; the place is extremely crowded on weekdays from about 12 noon to 1:30. But if you’re willing to wait you won’t regret it.“

“I'd like to give kudos to Nick and his staff at Veranda Restaurant & Cafe. We held my daughter's bridal shower brunch for 22 people there today under the pergola. The food was excellent, and the waitstaff led by Daniel was impeccable! I highly recommend this venue.
