She made sure that we were well taken care of in every way. All our dietary restriction were met. The Owner, Dennis was very nice and accommodating from day one. He made sure we had a great time. “We ordered assorted gyros, souvlaki, tacos and baklava. The staff was friendly and the service was wonderful. Over all decent and accommodating to the greek culture with a twist of spanish. Only thing I would change is to add oragano salt and pepper to the gyros and don't blend the tzatziki makes it a bit pasty in texture but flavor was 7/10. The baklava less refrigerated time and more syrup not leaving the tops so dry. Would visit again.“

“Stopped in after a wonderful recommendation from my good friend, Garrett. I thought I was in Greece, then I met the family. What a pleasure. Smiles everywhere. The atmosphere, the food and the wine was tops but the service was the best. I think there was a handsome model named Christian was working that night. Not only was he handsome but delightful as well. My daughter and my wife insisted we return.“

“We always enjoy our food at the Gyro bar. You cannot go wrong with the Gyro pita sandwich- AMAZING. The chicken Souvlaki platter (bottom/front in the photo) was really good. The lemon potatoes (also bottom front plate) are delicious. The Lamb/Beef Gyro platter (back plate) is the best lamb/beef gyro meat I’ve ever had. Both are big enough to make two meals out of.
The tzatziki and pita is also wonderful. Thick, creamy, and perfect.

“The Greenville is a true gem in East Norwich. The food is always outstanding—delicious, fresh, and served in generous portions. The owners are genuinely lovely people who go above and beyond for their customers. I recently hosted a party on a day they were closed, and they still prepared everything I needed and arranged for me to pick it up. That kind of service is rare and so appreciated! I can’t recommend The Greenville highly enough for both their amazing food and their wonderful hospitality.“

“I always order from Greek Cove, the food is excellent and portions are big. I order a half tray of the grilled chicken this weekend and it came with salad , tzatziki and pitas ..there was so much grilled chicken that my guest all took home leftovers! Also is was delicious!“

“Greek Cove Merrick’s lunch special is incredible. Ate the warm pita in the car on the way home! Grilled chicken with a salad and rice. One huge chicken cutlet over a generous portion of delicious rice and a tasty Greek salad- with a grape leaf and feta! I am a very picky eater but this chix was seasoned beautifully, so that if garlic, onion or rosemary(my triple threat) was used, it all blended together perfectly so that even I could not pick out the offensive spice. Amazingly, the yogurt sauce is also tasty( I hate yogurt sauce;usually throw it away). Forgot to tell them not to give it to me, so as not to waste it, but I’m glad I forgot! All of this, and a lot of smiling happy employees, for $12.99 cash. Wowza.“

I had an incredible experience at Plateia GR! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that immediately set the tone for the evening.
The food was absolutely delicious — everything tasted fresh and authentically Greek. The grilled octopus was tender and perfectly seasoned, the meatballs were so moist and so good, and the gyro was delicious and full of flavor. The tzatziki and warm pita were the best I’ve ever had, and the galaktobouriko at the end of the meal was the perfect sweet finish.
What really stood out was the staff’s genuine hospitality — they took the time to explain the dishes and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed.

“We spent our 25th wedding anniversary at Kyma and it did not disappoint! It was more than just dining- it was a whole experience! The service was phenomenal as was the foo, from the appetizers to the dessert. We ordered the Agean special. The watermelon salad was one of my favorites! After the meal, they brought us two beautifully prepared desserts. And then before we left, the manager spent time talking to us and getting to know us on a more personal level. It was really special evening and I highly recommend Kyma!“

“Had the best night. The food was phenomenal. George and his wife were so welcoming to my family and I. Sat outside in a beautiful outdoor gazebo. We are New yorkers who moved to Florida 13 yrs ago and we are in for the Christmas holidays. I highly recommend this restaurant. “Ordered from grub hub, food never arrived. Called and was told it was busy and just went out. Waited another 30 minutes, was told food was delivered. It was in front stoop but driver NEVER NOTIFIEDME THAT FOOD HAD BEEN DELIVERED so it was ice cold. Got another call with the proprioter arguing with me that directions were followed. Who makes a hot food delivery and doesn't text the recipient that ir is there in 30 degree weather? Plus I actually increased tip to 20 percent. Will never order from them again.“

“Came here for the first time yesterday, I always drive by this place and never went inside until yesterday. I tried the falafel sandwich and my mom had the pork, it was absolutely delicious. My Mom loved the pork, and I loved the falafel... actually it was the best falafel I have ever had. The food was so good that we came back today for lunch and ordered the same thing, but this time decided to get a side of their lemon potatoes...which were also delicious and I personally think they were the best I have ever had. The staff was nice and the owner even gave my mom a slice of cake for her birthday for free. I highly recommend everyone to stop by and eat there.“

“Hands down one of the best Gyros I have had. For sure the best in Nassau! I have tried a lot of different places, throughout the county, Abe’s definitely is the best, they stuff it with meat, just the right amount of toppings and sauce. Give it 10/10 for me highly recommend!“

“My family and I went to Veranda restaurant in Bayside yesterday for. Birthday dinner. The restaurant is well located, with street parking and valet service as well. There’s an outdoor patio, that for obvious reason we couldn’t use. The temperatures in NY have been in the single digits lately. The food and the service were on another level! Gregory was very attentive, welcoming and friendly. The food was finger liking good! I had the pan seared scallops with spinach risotto and OMG. I can’t wait to go back. Everyone was pleased with the their food choices and I highly recommend this place, unfortunately I didn’t take pics of everyone’s food. Only if mine, I hope you find this review useful. “The food was ok. No AC in the restaurant and muggy outdoor eating made it hard. I asked for no tomatoes or olives in my salad and she brought me a full plate of tomatoes in my salad so I didn’t eat it as I never return food. The place needs a good cleaning.“
