“Upon my recent visit to Capo Ristorante, nestled at 700 A Franklin Ave, Franklin Square, NY 11010, I was treated to an experience that tantalized my taste buds and warmed my heart. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Tesla Panini, a masterful blend of succulent grilled chicken, rich Parma ham, and velvety mozzarella, all nestled between slices of perfectly crisped Krispina bread and complemented by the peppery zing of baby arugula. It was, in every sense, a delight.

The appetizers did not play second fiddle, with the fried macaroni & cheese balls presenting a symphony of textures and flavors that were both comforting and indulgent.

But what truly set Capo Ristorante apart was their exceptional customer service. In celebration of our recent engagement, which we happened to mention in passing, the staff surprised us with a complimentary dessert to accompany our takeout order. This thoughtful gesture was the cherry on top of an already splendid dining experience.

Restaurant is spacious and clean with a bell at each table to ring up the wait staff. Wait staff were pleasant and patient, and quick to tidy up finished plates. He was professional, quick, covid safe and so very nice. They only have one item on the menu and they do it right! You can choose mild or spicy.
Side dishes were simple but reminded me of my childhood in Korea. Roasted seaweed, rolled eggs and radish kimchee.
It gets packed most of times so lunch is a good time go.

I didn’t expect a carribean place to be my new go to fish spot but here we are! We ordered the collard greens which were a little different than the southern style I’m accustomed to though had a spice to kick it up.

The service is extremely friendly, and the workers are happy to explain the dishes to you. The spicy level is fairly low--doesn't really affect flavor but adds a light kick when you drink a spoon of broth. Management offered to make it more spicy if it wasn't enough which was appreciated. It does have a slight additive effect though so I opted not to. They're not giving you a ton of bean sprouts but the bean sprouts you are getting are washed and look to be of good quality. I feel like this applies to the bowl overall--fairly good quality but not overwhelming. I left satisfied but not full.“

“TLDR: Tasty Cow specializes in traditional Cantonese cuisine. Think lots of braised meats and a bit of offal cuts but familiar Cantonese flavors. The brisket is what they're known for along with the assorted meats. Don't leave without trying that brown sugar roast pork.

A close friend put me on to this place, he comes here with his family. It's one of those hole in the wall places you wouldn't know about unless someone told you.

My favorite here was the brown sugar roast pork. So interesting. It's sweet yet savory, fatty, they give you a slice of lime to eat it all together with. I don't generally like sweet/salty things but this was very good.

The assorted meat platter is good but the tongue is my favorite. Last time I got the rice noodle rolls and beef brisket. If you like braised dishes, this is something you might want to check it out. For all you authenticity geeks out there, this is very authentic Cantonese cooking.“

“I have been ordering from them for a very long time and always enjoy the food.
Recently we were shorted one item on our delivery order, the woman on the phone was so argumentative telling me to "look better its there!" then trying to convince me the cheese won-tons we also ordered are the missing $9 lobster dumplings ( they do look similar).

They should be able to see customer history and not treat a good customer like some thief. They delivered the missing dumplings pretty quick and they were good so i cant really complain much, customer service needs an adjustment though.“
