“Upon my recent visit to Capo Ristorante, nestled at 700 A Franklin Ave, Franklin Square, NY 11010, I was treated to an experience that tantalized my taste buds and warmed my heart. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Tesla Panini, a masterful blend of succulent grilled chicken, rich Parma ham, and velvety mozzarella, all nestled between slices of perfectly crisped Krispina bread and complemented by the peppery zing of baby arugula. It was, in every sense, a delight.

The appetizers did not play second fiddle, with the fried macaroni & cheese balls presenting a symphony of textures and flavors that were both comforting and indulgent.

But what truly set Capo Ristorante apart was their exceptional customer service. In celebration of our recent engagement, which we happened to mention in passing, the staff surprised us with a complimentary dessert to accompany our takeout order. This thoughtful gesture was the cherry on top of an already splendid dining experience.

“Visited from Orlando,Florida and was in the mood for some Guyanese homemade food for brunch. We ate here and they had a wide variety of food options from doubles, cook up, bake and salt fish and various curries paired with The best tasting roti I have had in a long time. We ended it all off with some very tasty Pastries that are homemade in store. The owner Serita is very hospitable and made sure we had everything and that we were well taken care of! “We used Mama Soup catering for my little ones drive by birthday. An employee came and set up the soup kettles and sandwiches along with plasticware and to go packages. He was professional, quick, covid safe and so very nice. Not only did everything look great, smell amazing and taste delicious, it was the perfect set up for those who drove by and departed as well as for those who stayed. My family and friends couldn’t rave enough about the food. Those who stayed had seconds and even took leftovers home. The price was reasonable for the amount of food we had. “it was good, but ultimately it’s not mindblowing. if you haven’t heard already, this is a one dish restaurant. it only serves one thing: korean beef soup (spicy or non-spicy) for $20 at the time of review (may 2025)

imo, pretty unique because i’ve never came across another restaurant that only serves one dish. but with all the raving reviews, i was expecting it to taste really really yummy. it was not the case in my personal opinion, but it was a very great experience nonetheless. INSANELY quick service with plenty of refills on the banchan (side dishes, which consisted of seaweed, kimchi radish, steamed eggs, jalapeños, and soybean paste)

overall, would recommend if you’re in the area! not so sure if it’s a place you’d make the trek to, though

“Very good tacos, good location, good service. Only downside to this place is the lack of seating and overall interior of the store. Would definitely be a lot lot better with more seating and an interior change, but I can get over that for some of the best local tacos.“

“This was the place I had my first açaí bowl, and I loved it. I am addicted now and come here pretty often. The fruit is fresh in every season, and the staff here are very lovely. “We always order using delivery apps though wanted to come in for the full experience. SO GLAD WE DID. First off, this has to be one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever been in. That made me feel really happy. Now to the food! Came for the Taco Tuesday Special and so happy we did. We came very late in the evening so we missed the jerk chicken tacos though I was not disappointed in the jerk beef tacos. Such a great deal and it was delicious. These were the full size tacos, not the minis. Run don’t walk as I’m sure this deal wont last. We also ordered the fried fish and grits , we paid for extra for more fish and so goad we did. I didn’t expect a carribean place to be my new go to fish spot but here we are! We ordered the collard greens which were a little different than the southern style I’m accustomed to though had a spice to kick it up.

Friendly staff and very welcoming. They offered us samples of their new fresh made sea moss which was delicious and we grabbed more to take home.

The spicy level is fairly low--doesn't really affect flavor but adds a light kick when you drink a spoon of broth. Management offered to make it more spicy if it wasn't enough which was appreciated. It does have a slight additive effect though so I opted not to. They're not giving you a ton of bean sprouts but the bean sprouts you are getting are washed and look to be of good quality. I feel like this applies to the bowl overall--fairly good quality but not overwhelming. I left satisfied but not full.“

“I have been ordering from them for a very long time and always enjoy the food.
Recently we were shorted one item on our delivery order, the woman on the phone was so argumentative telling me to "look better its there!" then trying to convince me the cheese won-tons we also ordered are the missing $9 lobster dumplings ( they do look similar).

They should be able to see customer history and not treat a good customer like some thief. They delivered the missing dumplings pretty quick and they were good so i cant really complain much, customer service needs an adjustment though.“
