“We always order using delivery apps though wanted to come in for the full experience. SO GLAD WE DID. First off, this has to be one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever been in. That made me feel really happy. Now to the food! Came for the Taco Tuesday Special and so happy we did. We came very late in the evening so we missed the jerk chicken tacos though I was not disappointed in the jerk beef tacos. Such a great deal and it was delicious. These were the full size tacos, not the minis. Run don’t walk as I’m sure this deal wont last. We also ordered the fried fish and grits , we paid for extra for more fish and so goad we did. I didn’t expect a carribean place to be my new go to fish spot but here we are! We ordered the collard greens which were a little different than the southern style I’m accustomed to though had a spice to kick it up.

Friendly staff and very welcoming. They offered us samples of their new fresh made sea moss which was delicious and we grabbed more to take home.

“Was in the mood for a beef patty this restaurant was the first choice google recommended. I must say the aroma from the restaurant alone will have you intoxicated. I was greeted by the staff that’s was very kind and helpful. The beef patty was flaky and very tasty the spices complemented the meat perfectly. This is my 2nd visit here still definitely will be returning“

“1st time here , amazing food…had the Curry Goat with 2 sides (rice & beans, Mac & cheese) and 2 spicy beef patties for later … ya Mon…. The curry goat was like butter, cooked perfectly, tasty and flavorful and perfect curry spice for added ❤️‍? …. Mac & cheese was fabulous, nothing better than rice & beans with curry goat juice all over …. Staff is great and food is awesome…“

“My first time at Kingston Grill and I’d it weren’t for the professional, well mannered lovely lady at the counter it very well could have been my last. However, I will definitely return as in addition to the wonderful customer service experienced on Saturday July 22 at around 4pm. The food was delicious!!! I ordered the oxtail meal as well as sweet chili chicken wings. Awesome!!“

“I admit I should be 5.star thankful that I finally found some ackees and saltfish for breakfast. ? But it needed just a little more spice for me. Not more heat, just more zing, y'know??But the curry mutton the night before, ? now that had some zing, hands down. ? So maybe, yeah ? it's 5 stars after all.?????

Parking: Safest place to park is on the same side of the street as the restaurant. But it is located on the corner of a major intersection, so that's not saying much! Keep a sharp eye out! ?“

“Pizza, deli... ah what the heck.. let me try Jamaican.. I love spicy food.. walked into rock and come in. Seemed closed but staff was preping. Jerk chicken or curry roti?? Roti it is.. and I am glad I did.. warm ,tender, juicy and delicious. Don't forget a kola champange. I will be back..FYI didn't waste any food all I'm my tummy“

“It was my very first time visiting J & D Good Taste Restaurant… I am beyond satisfied and highly impressed with the quality of the food. Amazing taste. I ordered the griot to stay, the legumes, and Bouillon to go. The griot was absolutely delicious and fresh, platains done well!! Now, when I got home and tasted the bouillon it felt like I was back home at Moms…OMG!! The legumes was the same … just like Moms. They give very nice portions and lots of meat. I’m definitely going back. Now I have to try my Jamaican faves from them. You’ve gained a customer in me. Thank You !!“

“A friend brought me some Tropical J*** from Uniondale all the way to Philadelphia, PA and this was hands down the best Jamaican food I’ve ever had. The j*** pork was so juicy it was still delicious and perfect even after microwaving it. The spicy shrimp was divine! Y’all made me homesick for real. Thank you thank you.“

“I’ve just had my third meal at Tony Mac’s in as many days, and again I was not disappointed!??? For lunch I had the curry goat which comes well-seasoned with rice and peas, steamed veggies and plantain. To drink I had a number 5 Sea Moss drink called “The Mac Body Heat” to wake up the body made of - Sea Moss, wheat germ, oats, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, roots and something called tigerbone! ???The waitress noted to me on the way out “Look after your wife tonight, the next day you might be getting a welcome visitor from the Creator!Great meal and the medium was mighty big for the money -$25 for the meal and drink!
