Not only was he friendly when taking care of my order, but as my kids and I dined we witnessed him just being awesome and friendly with everyone, having him in the store completely elevated the atmosphere.“

“We used to frequent the Astoria location which was always so great. The new Manhattan location is no different. Somewhat smaller, but just very cozy and very nice looking. Amazing food as always. Small place but seriously mighty. No fluff, no gimmicks, just unreal, farm-to-table food done right.

The meatball sandwich? I think about it daily. Perfectly seasoned, rich, and messy in the best way. The kind of sandwich you don’t forget. And the Burrata sandwich was just as incredible, packed with flavor and made with so much care you can taste it in every bite.

“This is a cute little japanese ramen restaurant near Manhasset LIRR station!

I got the spicy miso ramen and the tatsuta-age. The ramen was surprisingly not heavy at all and was on the blander side but I actually liked that a lot. The tatsuta-age was super crispy and tender! The sauce was really unique in a good way. The portions are also HUGE!“

“This is not a place you come to for atmosphere. This is a place for delicious falafel and other Middle Eastern foods, like shakshuka, kibbeh, etc., all vegetarian, since it's kosher dairy. The food is authentic Israeli-style. The staff is friendly, too. I don't wear a yarmulke, my wife doesn't cover her arms, and they serve us, and everyone I've seen walk through the doors with a smile. Good food and civility are universal. Give this little shop a try!“

“We had a fantastic experience at Ditmar’s Thai in Astoria, New York. The food was absolutely delicious and truly authentic Thai cuisine.

My son Allen ordered the crispy duck, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I ordered the whole fried red snapper with coconut sauce, and it was outstanding. Everything tasted fresh and of very high quality.

The wine was also delicious and paired beautifully with the meal. Our waiter was excellent very attentive, friendly, and genuinely made sure we were enjoying our dinner.

The prices are fabulous for the quality of food and service. We will definitely be coming back many more times. Highly recommended!“
