Easily some of the best bubble tea in Rochester NY. And the food? SO good 🔥 which is rare to find at a boba spot. Everything we tried was flavorful, high quality, and looked 🤤 If you’re searching for boba tea in Rochester, or just an all-around great food and drink experience, this place absolutely delivers. “Every time I go to Clownboy, I wish it was closer to where I work or live, but that's more of a me problem. My most recent visit sealed the deal on why I need to just make the trip periodically.
This is a fully vegan coffee shop. I am not vegan but I am lactose intolerant so it's a treat to order from a menu with reckless abandon and not having to worry whether my coffee would be better with traditional milk. I think Clownboy is on par with many of the local coffee shops in the area quality-wise. I believe they make many (if not all) of their syrups in house, which is greatly enjoyed and appreciated. My personal favorite is the Dale Cooper, a cold brew with fig and walnut bitters. It's not sweet and has a subtle almost smoky finish. It's sophisticated and reminds me of a cocktail in a way. I have dabbled with a few other drinks on the menu and enjoyed them as well, but the Dale Cooper is my jam.
The vibe in the cafe is great. It's fun, welcoming and colorful. Local artists have work displayed for sale. I am more of a grab and go coffee drinker by default, but I could totally see myself chilling here for a while if the mood struck.
There are a few very small things I wish were different (limited seating, street parking), but on a nice day, I don't mind a little walk and a coffee to go.“

“My passion for coffee shops is still alive and kicking and Canaltown Coffee Roasters didn’t dampen that passion. It’s nice to visit a real coffee roaster’s.
Val was fantastic. For my partner Val recommended a Cuban Double Espresso and that Plant Milk was the best alternative for the Apple Dirty Chai. He thoroughly enjoyed his drinks.
I ordered the Caramel Spice Latte and it was delicious.
The service was good. There is plenty of seating indoors and a few tables outside. Loved the cute fresh flower arrangements on the tables.
A very chilled out cafe with friends chatting away and people working quietly on laptops.

“I don’t usually have good luck at Tim Hortons. Other locations never even look at a mobile order until I walk in and inquire. This location is the exception. I order 2-3 times a week and within 5 mins (my drive time) the order is always on the counter waiting for me. Staff is friendly and always welcomes me.“

- quick service
- nice staff
- Great menu with SO many SF options
Cons:
- speakers are too loud
- drinks are made breve, and maybe I missed it on the menu, but that isn't a typical thing and not my preference
Overall, 7brew is great. I've only ever gotten one subpar drink, and it was clearly a new barista, so we give grace.
The prices are higher than main competitors, but the drinks are bigger and the options are broader. So again, willing to pay for quality and quantity.
Definitely worth trying if you are looking for options outside of Dunky or SBUX.“

“Another great visit to Gusto. I remember to take a picture of the menu. They have a delicious meatball panini that goes great with a glass of wine. They sell wine by the bottle here too. Tasty food, good drink selection and the staff is always friendly.
Today they opened 25 minutes early and fired up the grill. That was so nice of them. They offer their full menu all day. I got the meat ball panini again. Like I said, I love that thing with some red wine, even if it's 9am.“

“I just happened upon this place and snuck in before closing time. This place is warm and welcoming. I wanted poached eggs (they have) on toasted english muffin (they don't have) so I switched it up and got a short stack of pancakes and a side of grits. I never order pancakes. I just don't like them that much but I am sure glad I did, here! Yum. Best I've ever had.“

“Not only is the coffee always perfect but the staff at this Tim's is the friendliest ive seen, and I have been to many Tims. I work close by so often eat both breakfast and lunch here. I love the ice cap and breakfast sandwiches, but I go here mostly because customers are treated so well.“
