“The employees at this burger king location have got to be the hardest working nicest people I've ever come across in a very long time. If I owned this franchise (assuming it is a franchise) I would instantly pay the employees i met today double, and hire a couple more. I cant comment on other people's experiences, but I know this team is working hard. I watched them handle their business, and I appreciate the hustle.“

She went above and beyond to meeting my requests while she was busy making the fries and running to the back to look for what I was asking for, meanwhile one of her coworkers was being unfriendly towards my requests. “We dined for the first time last night and it was fantastic! The wings were large, crispy and very flavorful. We tried a few different sauces and loved each one. We also ordered their pizza special and it was also really good. Helpful, friendly staff and a fantastic view of the river. We will definitely be back.“

“This was our first time trying The Gate House and we were impressed! We came on a Thursday afternoon with no reservation and were seated right away. Our server was prompt and attentive immediately and continued through the duration of our meal. We tried the Xerox pizza as well as the Duffy burger and both were 10/10! Absolutely delicious. “Alright, let’s set the record straight on this restaurant. Anyone questioning the owner’s integrity just doesn’t know the half of it. This place is all about positive vibes, fantastic service, and reasonable pricing. Now, they do have a note on the menu that pricing is subject to change, and sure, sometimes the menu isn't always updated right on the dot. But let’s be real: the value you get more than makes up for a minor price tweak here and there. I’ve had them cater events for me multiple times and it's been flawless. “Reunion of a few hockey players from the 1970's for lunch today . Our waitress was Molly and she was (Johnny on the Spot) from ordering to getting refills on our drinks . We were very pleased with the Tenders , French Onion soup and the Burgers ! Even the popcorn was great . The $11.99 lunch menu was perfect . Molly was one step ahead of us whatever we needed and it cost us about HALF of what we paid at Distillery on our previous lunch .

Edit: since writing this review, Shake Shack has came out with many promotion codes that can be used to either order on the app or the in-store Kiosks. Definitely helps with the affordability.“

Bacon burger also had an odd taste. Not sure what the deal is as this is not the norm for our experience there.“

I know everything has gone up but it seems 42 dollars for lunch for 2 was extreme. We each got a burger and fries and a drink. From the looks of our receipt everything is priced individually rather than a meal price. Asked a friend about it who lives in the area and she said to use the app and you can get a discount. Seems to be how it goes in today's world. Overall good place to eat but a tad expensive for fast food.“
