Burger Restaurants near Gates

“My experience start out not so great! I was in the second drive up and they were taking orders from the same side not switching. I had to say hello a few times but once I got my chicken sandwich and fries. I couldn't be mad, it was hot and delicious!“

“10/10 recommend! Had the best time with our kids this afternoon. Food, games, fun drinks. Everything was amazing! Thanks for a great Saturday afternoon 🙌🏻“

“The guys running the place are super friendly! The food is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. 10/10 recommend!“

“I love the burgers here, and my dining companion raves about the pizza! Today I tried their version of Nashville chicken.

Way too much bun for the chicken, which was tasty but not special in its flavor. Nice and crunchy but bland. No kick at all. Way too many pickles - no problem, just picked a few off and ate a few separately. I usually really like their rosemary garlic fries. Today they were hard, cool and very salty. Surprising because they'd just opened.

Overall the customer service vibe was off today. Our server was excellent, however the way we were received could improve. I had planned to meet someone at 11:30 am. That's when they open, and trust me, not a minute earlier. As a matter of fact, 2 minutes late, with staff making sure to not make eye contact as they prepared. There was no seating outside the main entrance, situated within a mall. It was about to start raining, so it didn't seem wise to sit outside. Tough on those who cannot stand for long periods of time. When the staff finally unlocked the door, they just turned the bolt and walked away. I would've expected them to physically open the door and welcome the small crowd that had gathered.

It's never a good idea to assume that business will always be robust. A little friendliness goes a long way.“

“Place is amazing, exceptional food and wonderful atmosphere. Would highly recommend.“

“I absolutely love this place. Its home like atmosphere and large selection of items is a nice change from just burgers. And who doesn't like ice cream choices and everyone is so friendly. A nice place to sit, relax ,and eat without being rushed out.“

“We just had dinner there with the family. The pulled pork was absolutely delicious! Very nice interior. Everything was super clean, the staff was friendly, and it was quiet enough to have a conversation. We highly recommend them.“

“The food and the staff are amazing! Fast service but not fast food!“

“Everyone is so welcoming! The owner is there and will talk to you about any problems. There is a reason this place is packed every day.“

“Every time I get food. It’s delicious. Fresh food. You can tell they care about quality. Great portions at great prices. The staff are kind. The owner is amazing. If you want awesome food. Go to Chili Hots!!“

“I only counted 4 guys... but the food was great!“

“Alright, let’s set the record straight on this restaurant. Anyone questioning the owner’s integrity just doesn’t know the half of it. This place is all about positive vibes, fantastic service, and reasonable pricing. Now, they do have a note on the menu that pricing is subject to change, and sure, sometimes the menu isn't always updated right on the dot. But let’s be real: the value you get more than makes up for a minor price tweak here and there. I’ve had them cater events for me multiple times and it's been flawless. No shams, just an honest, fantastic spot.“

“Crab cakes, all CRAB, the best crab cakes I have had. Most of the time it's 80% breading....NOT HERE....it was all REAL CRAB!!! FF average, slaw was tasty, just the right amount mayo to sugar to vinegar. Overall cakes were the 🌟 🤩, must try!!!“

“We stopped in last night everyone was so welcoming and nice and the food was great!!! It was hot and fresh and soooo good!! 10 out of 10 for us 😋“

“My husband and I have lunch here every Wednesday. The food is always great and we love Natasha, our regular server. She’s so sweet and so accommodating. We love her!“

“Party of 6 last Friday. Service was excellent, nearly everything we ordered was amazing except the scallops. They were small, not cooked well and dish was rather bland. I love seafood so i was quite disappointed but we will definitely be back. Overall 8.5/10“

“Ordered a cheeseburger plate from there. The burgers were a very good size, the hot sauce was amazing, the potatoes were perfect! I have not had a plate that good in at least 25 years. I highly highly highly recommend this place. It is awesome.“

“My kids loved it!!! Awesome place!“

“So good!!! Huge portions at great prices. Super friendly staff, clean facility, well done.“

“We can’t say enough positive comments about Spencerport Hots. We had them cater my son’s graduation yesterday and they were amazing. My family and I for sure will be using them future forward!!“

“I absolutely love Bill Gray’s and I moved away six years ago. I was so looking forward to my cheeseburger, onions and hot meat sauce. We got six meals to go. All that ordered meat sauce did not have any when we got home. I was crushed. Good thing I have a much love for Bill Gray’s to forgive this huge oversight that really disappointed me.“

“Been getting garbage plates from here since I was a kid. I always get the cheeseburger plate with all Mac salad. It’s been about 2 years since the last. Can’t wait to come back and get another plate in June!“

“I am sitting here after just receiving my order. I have the privilege of watching the team behind the counter operate. They are all working together and getting the job done. So impressed. We live in a world where customer service lost its value. Covid hit, and we were faced with take it or leave it circumstances. The customer is no longer always right. Now I look for places that get it done right the first time and here is where it’s at! This guy is running the show, if you read this and see him, let him know he is setting a good example for leadership and quality!“

“Food was good and had great atmosphere. The customers looked happy , there wings look amazing and they put carrots , celery and Mac salad in bowl with it ! Old school vibes with old school prices we had a wonderful evening supporting local“

“Grew up in Rochester and this is was a really good, classic garbage plate. Add a bit more seasoning the mac salad and it would be 10/10“

“The burgers are good, service is friendly“

“I personally love Wimpys, and would rate them 10/10. I occasionally stop by for a Cheeseburger Plate, and they have several delicious and customizable options to choose from, so you can mix and match. Their staff is so friendly.“

“Great food, John was a great bartender. Thanks for a great day on this gloomy winter day.“

“It's kind of a pain how the computers for ordering are in the wag when you try to get in the door and groups of people are blocking the entrance and your food is cold by the time someone realizes your food has been sitting on the shelf waiting. But I'll still go back because it is good food“

“Visited from out of state and was told I needed to try a plate. Quite the culinary experience! I’ll definitely be back again when I’m in the area.“

“Food is pretty good and the waitstaff is friendly. Best onion rings I've ever had in my life! Kinda pricey because you have to buy everything individually because there are no meal deals, but I'd rather pay 25 bucks for a meal here then at mcdonald's...🙄 much better quality! We'll definitely be returning!...☺️“

“Omg! I had the regular joe and it was the freshest moist and delicious 😋 burger I’ve had, wow! The bun oh my the veggies excellent so so good I can’t wait to get back ASAP thank you for such a great food delight. Oh and the staff were friendly and polite.“

“Went there for the first time tonight, everything was excellent! I ordered the Filet and it was melt in your mouth delicious, I also had the crispy potatoes and they were yummy. My husband had the chicken prosciutto and he said that was very good but my steak was better. Service was great as well. Would highly recommend!.“

“Great food always come here“

“Ordered delivery the other day and had the manicotti. It wasn’t what I ordered, but mistakes happen, especially with delivery service so no big deal. The food was phenomenal and I will DEFINITELY be dining there again.“

“Good job Following guidelines!“

“Had 2 cheeseburgers and a root beer, used the drive thru. The food was great.“

“I am so impressed and appreciative of the honest employees and patrons of this establishment....I left my purse on a counter and a graciously kind patron turned it in and the employees kept it safe for me to retrieve....this says a lot about the integrity of this service and it's community! By the way, we had a lovely meal in a pleasant atmosphere too! Just wanted you to know...“

“Good staff, friendly atmosphere“

“It's a typical, small town diner with a typical diner menu with very good prices. You can get two very large breakfasts with coffee for about $15! Portion sizes are substantial, service was pretty good and the food came out quickly and piping hot.“

“Always the go to spot when drunk! The hot sauce is absolutely garbage but who cares when drunk“

“Hello!
I forgot to post this on Tuesday, but my friend and I went to Wingstop and had probably the best experience ever! The woman who took our order was named Trisha (I hope I am spelling it correctly), but she was an absolute sweetheart! My friend's card had been acting up and Trisha decided to cover her order! Now I know that there is still amazing people out there like her because that act of kindness made our day! I don't think I have ever seen anyone actually do that kind of thing for someone in my life! All the workers were just amazing, and even though they were very busy during their lunch rush they were kind to every single customer! Now I know that not every time you go somewhere that someone would do that for you, but Trisha didn't waste a second and decided to help us out! I don't think she realized how much we appreciated her, she helped us out when we needed too. Thank you for hiring such an amazing worker! Have a blessed day!!“
