“We often go to Valley Harvest when we don't feel like cooking. Great salads and decent sandwiches - the hot dog is good too. The best thing about this place is the ice cream. Micro batches of really unique flavors. A word of caution - it does take a while for the food - lots of locals call ahead for orders or do take-out. Otherwise it's a favorite!“

Otherwise, aming a party of six, we had 4 beers, 2 Juice Bombs, 2 Health Margaritas, a glass of Chardonnay, and 3 other drinks...a total of 2 drinks per person. To start we ordered a plate of raw oysters and deep fried artichokes. Both choices were fine. We also ordered 3 Salad Nicoises which were a huge disappointment and should have been renamed, A Small Smattering 0f Tiny Greens With A Hint Of Dried Tuna, Whole Intact Garlic Clove, a 3 Discolored Green Beans Marinated in Vinegare with 2 Baby Potatos. If you were envisioning a classic Salad Nicoise, buyer beware. A 3 ounce portion of seared medium rare tuna or oil packed canned tuna, together with hard boiled eggs, Nicoise olives, and tomatoes with vinagrette were missing in action. The salad appeared to have been pepared with an eye to the least amount of preoaration“

“I went in here last night and sat at the bar. At first, the bartender was a little bit rude. But he came around and was fine after that. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza. It was huge. It could easily have fed 2 people. The pizza was very good. Not the best I've ever had, but very solid indeed. The wine pour was also very generous. The prices were very modest My only negative was that it's very noisy. Maybe a few properly placed plants, but a good experience all in all.“

“We recently had a wedding in the area and Hudson Valley Dessert Company was the perfect choice for our wedding cake and dessert. They provided an excellent level of service at the tasting, conducting delivery, and throughout the process. We wanted to do a unique cake and the bakers were thrilled with the opportunity to flex their creativity and skills. They worked closely with our venue to ensure the logistics of the cake would work and we completely trusted that everything would go well. Our guests were so impressed by the cake and the other desserts. We had cannolis, pecan squares, and gluten free brownies. Everything was delicious. We found that we got really great value and highly recommend them for others looking to order their wedding cake from the area.“

So I went and filled an application out for the Home Health Care Aide and I did my interviews and met with the manager Brooke and started not to soon after- one of the best decisions I’ve ever made was going in and filling the application out - Vitaliy and his managers Brooke and Julie are all the best people to work for! They actually acknowledged me not even a month into working for him about how good I’m doing - that meant everything to me, the fact that they pay attention and care about their employees and clients and also customers is a beautiful rare thing.The restaurant is a very homey place. I’m new and my husband is a veteran and he has a hard time being around people and even he loves it. My kids love going to play ping pong while the adults play pool and listen to music. It’s just an amazing atmosphere with people who make you feel like your family. My family lost everything to hurricane Ian in Florida and had to move back and the employees AND THE CUSTOMERS ( I’m telling you once you meet them and they like you and you them it’s a family - they look out for each other!! ) all rallied up to make sure we have what we needed for our apartment.I am a very outspoken, outgoing, blunt, rare individual and I’m very opinionated- I would not lie to anyone about anything- but I PROMISE you that you will love the Bar/Restaurant and everyone inside it.Thank You to everyone for making us feel welcomed! I had a great burger—“One-eyed”—a bacon cheese burger topped with a fried egg done over easy. The burger was flame broiled for nice flavor, with real crispy bacon. Fries were hot and crispy. Only the bun was subpar, a bit dry. Prices were decent and good value, though charging nearly $4 for soda was excessive. Service was excellent and friendly. Definitely will return to try other dishes.“

“Our son and daughter-in-laws wedding was held there and was one of the greatest weddings I have ever attended. Spent the entire weekend there and the hotel was amazing. Clean and attentive staff. The tavern was warm and friendly and the restaurant had a great atmosphere with great food. Literally parked the car and didn’t have to leave the entire weekend. We go back sometimes for a weekend getaway.“

Not only were the burgers and sandwiches delicious and nicely sized, (had the classic, dirty bird, and lamb eater) the concept of adding more to the 'usual' is an understatement. And adding their enviro friendly mindset of aluminum trays and no need for paper or plastic plates that you use for a millisecond of your lifetime, topped it off. A must stop for any day of the week:-)!“
