“great little local pizza place. thinner crust pizza. not super sweet sauce like typical buffalo pizza. highlight of it was the garlic butter parm crust. so good! we dinned in. one of the owners even came out and sat down with us for a minute. very nice guy. recently purchased the place. highly recommend the white pizza and everything wings. add hot honey to the pizza. will dine again or order takeout! new go to pizza spot“

“We stopped in for some pizza and subs after Niagara falls and it was absolutely delicious! It was definitely nice to get away from the falls to get some more reasonable prices! We had excellent service, kids said it was the best cheese pizza ever! We also had the chicken tender sub with blue cheese it was on point! It was easy to see why this place has been around since 1982! Family owned business with multiple locations in the area! We all need to be supporting these local small businesses that our family owned and operated! McKenzie family approved!!!“

“Had the best dinner out in a very long time. Sea Bass special. Not sure I would have ordered it if the dish was written out. Too many things added in that I ultimately didn't know what they were. Not a big pesto fan and the dish came in a bath of creamy green with an odd looking chutney of sorts on top. The green was a fantastic pesto tinged super flavorful sauce and the topping was a grand mix of sweet, savory and nut crunch, a fantastic meal.“

Our first Buffalo-destination in July 2025 was a "bar" known for their creation of Buffalo-wings. When we return in July 2026, JT's will be our first Buffalo-destination for wings. Large fully-cooked chicken wing drumettes and flats. The size required 4-5 adult mouth-fulls to get to the bare-bones. “Just picked up Large Cheese&Pep pizza. Outstanding!! Love the basically double cheese&pep. Also got an order if deep fried mushrooms w/ blue cheese sauce. Highly recommend!! Usually get from Franco's but enjoyed this much better. Crust crispy, thick & chewy. Lately our order from other place has been too well done and bland sauce. Found our new favorite place. Fifteen min away but it's well worth the trip.“

“Delicious subs that are huge! We got the 8 inch Cane Corso, great flavor on the slices of steak, perfect with the crispy lettuce. The chicken finger wrap was good, although we'll get it as a sub next time because the bread was so good. Garlic bread has tomatoes, which I love and not a super strong garlic flavor. Hand cut fries we're on point. The soup was gazpacho and if you like your gazpacho blended, it's worth a try. They sell a board game, which is super random, but the staff explained they created the game. I'm not much into the board games, but he was really knowledgeable about it and I gotta say, I'm considering checking it out. Friendly, delicious great prices. Maybe I'll remember pictures next time.“

“Food was good. Fast. Only complaint was I had my family member pick up the food and they only him to get one blue cheese even though I ordered 2. This isn’t the first time this has happened. The last couple of times they did not even tell him to get the blue cheese that was ordered. There needs to be a better process for the cooler items during pick up. Maybe a sticker on the box telling what to get and how many?“

“This pizza is the best I’ve had in a long time. The pesto pizza had fresh mozzarella and tomatoes (a treat!) and was served piping hot. The crust was well done, but I can’t think of many people who would call it thin. The bacon and sprout pizza was also really nicely done. Either of those pizzas could have fed two people who weren’t giant pigs. All around great experience.“

“The pizza here is phenomenal! It’s a classic 'Buffalo' style with a generous amount of toppings and a perfect, slightly charred crust on the bottom. Truly delicious.
​The wings, however, were a bit of a mixed bag. While they were a great size and perfectly crispy, they had almost no sauce on them. We ordered Medium and Mild, but both tasted as if they hadn't been sauced at all. I’m hoping it was just a one-off mistake, as the quality of the chicken was great. I’ll definitely give them another shot!“

“Everything I've ever tried at Mayback's has been delicious. From the breakfast pizza to the regular pizza. This is one of the only places in the 716 that makes good chicken fingers (the honey mustard ones are divine) and a good cheese steak. The fish fry is the best I've had in years. If you want a real treat try the turkey sub with pickles and extra meat. The freshest salads I've ever had. Food is amazing, prices are great, and everyone who works there is friendly. They've got something for everyone. Easily my favorite place to get food in Buffalo.“
