He went above and beyond in making everything easier for us in every way. The venue was decorated absolutely beautifully. From the stage setup to the backdrop to the table centerpieces, everything was wonderful. All the guests could not stop commenting upon how gorgeous everything was. The food was also very good! Everyone had such a good time and talked so highly of the event. I can’t recommend Metropolitan Caterers enough; they made our celebration of this event so special!!“

“Thank you for catering my first holiday meal in GN. Everything was delicious. Turkey was juicy and succulent and went great with the couscous and sausage stuffing with plums. I used the liquid you gave to make it even more moist and have already made blintzes and salad and turkey fried rice with the rest.“

“We got married here this past week on 5/1/25, and I don't think there are enough nice things I can say about Whitby Castle. Niki and Ralph made everything so unbelievably easy for us the entire time from booking to the days after our wedding. Roxy was my bridal attendant, and she made sure my husband and I were never without a drink. They brought all our cocktail-hour food upstairs for us so we could eat in peace and relax. Niki was so easy to communicate with for the entirety of the planning process. Every single question we asked of Ralph, who doubled as our maître d’, got answered and was perfect. We had so much fun at our reception, and it was so helpful to have Ralph there guiding and directing us every step of the way. It was so easy to coordinate dropping off and picking up all of our decor the week of the wedding. There were so many details, which can be overwhelming on your wedding, but with Roxy, Ralph, and Niki (and the entirety of the staff!!) everything was so seamless and like a well oiled machine. I am so unbelievably appreciative of everyone at this venue and cannot recommend Whitby Castle enough!!“

“THE Royalton Mansion-- If I could rate them 10 stars I would! The best kept secret on Long Island. The most beautiful venue with such a care for detail with the best bang for your buck with pricing. From the day we had our first meeting with the Royalton they have been fantastic and after my Husband and I walked in the first time we knew it was where we were supposed to be married. Mike T and his entire staff were perfect. Their attention to detail is unmatched. Mike T told me we didn’t need a wedding planner or coordinator with them and he was right. He took his role above and beyond! Every question and pre-wedding concern I had was answered quickly and ever worry I had they calmed my fear. The food was amazing and every aspect of the menu completely customizable. We had so many dietary restrictions and Mike was able to accommodate everyone without any issues. The grounds are beautiful both inside and outside. We planned for our ceremony to be in their beautiful garden but unfortunately mother nature had other plans and the move to inside was still as beautiful. Our family and friends are still raving about how beautiful it was, how amazing the food was and how the staff were phenomenal. Michelle, the bridal attendant was also phenomenal and helped the day run so smoothly! We had an unfortunate incident thar required a guest to be removed from the wedding. The professionalism and approach that Mike T took to handle the situation was perfect to the point that I had no idea of the circumstance and to those involved were blown away on how well it was handled by himself and staff and to ensure all our guests were safe as well. I can not recommend The Royalton enough.“

Unique dessert option that the kids loved was campsite s'mores where they can roast marshmallows at the table with a personal little fire. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall atmosphere was nice with larger parties able to be accommodated in a larger, brighter room while main dining room was more cozy with smaller booths/tables and darker ambiance. Parking is tight, but there is a larger municipal lot across the street. Can't wait to go back!“

Danielle was amazing to work with planning the menu to suit our budget. Making adjustments as needed. Joe and Danielle came out the week before to view the site and give advice on how to set things up. The day of the event they were amazing. “We used Carolyn's Kitchen for our baby shower last weekend and the food was very tasty. Carolyn had good communication leading up to the event and worked with us to make a custom menu. On the day of the event she arrived a little late for set up, but the guests didn't notice. Her and her son were kind and served our guests buffet style. We would definitely use her catering services again. We ordered rasta pasta, wings (jerk and lemon pepper), Mac and cheese egg rolls, plantain cups (vegan), and garden salad. Carolyn and her son packed up the food and then laid out the dessert cups: peach cobbler and banana pudding. My husband is still talking about the peach cobbler. Everything was delicious!“

“After reading a few low reviews, I felt the need to post that I have been here many times, and never had any issues with either the service or the food quality. This place is like a mini Zabar's with an Italian focus, not a restaurant. While the grocery selection is limited, I have enjoyed many items from the prepared food section, from turkey, to lasagna, to cooked vegetables. Everything tasted fresh and had a nice flavor. There are also pre-made salads, but I prefer the prepared food choices. I plan to continue to shop here.“

A special shout out to Diane and the Maitre D that helped us out every step of that way during the party! They listened to us and accommodated all of our requests. “My favorite deli spot in Long Island! Everyone is friendly, attentive and the place is extremely clean.The food is reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. They have a variety of different sandwiches, wraps and cooked foods. I truly recommend for anyone that’s looking for a hearty meal!“

“Major company event.  Cocktail hour with drinks, selection of crudite, cheeses, fruit and roaming appetizers.  For the roaming apps, I tried the mini lobster rolls, mozzarella brucheta and mini rice balls.  All were very good.  For dinner there was a lovely salad with poached pear and panchetta. There was a choice of steak, chicken, salmon and a vegetarian option for the main dish. For dessert there was a chocolate fondue setup close to the bar and a selection of mini desserts at the tables. The event space looked amazing (the company did some of the table decor and the event space staff did the plates, cutlery etc). The staff was friendly and helpful. There was enough parking (Valet - I did get there on the earlier side, so not sure about people who got there on the later side). Would like to come back for another occassion to verify this initial opinion.“
