The chef is brilliant, creative, and does things with pork belly that normal chefs would rave about! The entire menu is amazing. And that menu changes 4 times a year—depending on, yes, the season. Perfect day for a big bbq........ well Gemelli’s made this hot day even “hotter” in a good way! Everyone left full and enjoyed everything from the salads to the perfectly cooked burgers, hotdogs, filet mignon , shrimp kabobs and amazing ribs with the secret Gemelli bbq sauce! Gemelli’s authentic pizza man Raffaele bared the heat and made pizza’s in our brick oven to everyone’s delight! “Giving Sunrise 5 stars as compared to other fast food chinese take out. They are consistent & fast every time we order from them. We normally request less salt & oil & they’re pretty reliable with our requests. Called in an order at 3:30 which is whn their lunch menu ends and they honored their lunch prices. So yup, they are our go to chinese food in this area.“

“Found this restaurant by accident on Friday and we love it! In fact, we went back Saturday for Churros and Sunday for dinner again. On Friday we had their Street Tacos and today we had their Tako Bowls! This may be a small place, but their flavors are not!! Amazing food and great portions! “Yesterday was the first time I have been to Popei’s. What a great night! From the moment we walked in the owner/chef greeted us. We sat outside in the tent with the great musician. He was very interactive, took requests. People were singing along, It’s was very enjoyable. It was very clear our waitress, Janice was extremely busy but also very thorough careful and caring. It’s obvious she cares about what she is doing and works very hard. Upon my ordering, I mentioned a food allergy Janice double checked that things were OK before she submitted the order. 2 other people came to verify before cooking my meal. The food was SO GOOD! Big portion sizes. Gave my mother dessert to celebrate her birthday. Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic night. We will be back. My only suggestion would be when the musician is taking a break to lower the background music. When he wasn’t singing, the music was still incredibly loud and we had difficulty hearing each other at the table.“

I find that though everyone is always friendly you may find ingredients missing or scarce in the warm bowl or salad that’s been ordered. There may be a lot of turn around in employees so that could account for the discrepancy.“

When the staff learned that we were celebrating a birthday luncheon, they kindly paused the music during our cake cutting and even played the "Happy Birthday" song on the big screen. “The fried chicken is awesome. One of the best I've had. I really craved for fried chicken after the damn snow. It was so satisfying and made all of our bellys super happy. The chicken was still crunchy and hot by the time I got home. It's made fresh! Literally. I got snowy cheese which is my favorite, honey soy and original. Both really good! We also got the onion rings and tobokki. The sides of corn and radish was addicting. The gentleman working there was so nice and diligent. He saw I had placed two of the same orders and called me back to confirm if it was correct. I explained to him my neighbor also wanted some so I had to place another order. Lol. Must try.
