“A lovely, sunny and delicious respite from the cares of the world... How wonderful to find a place that serves top notch vegan fare--both sweet and some savory offerings too. Loved the rainbow cookies, Jamaican Patty and the black cake. The layer cakes are spectacular as well. Coffee, tea, chai, cappuccino--just some of the hot drink offerings to go with your treats. The owners are most congenial and welcoming, serving you with utmost care and attention. The bakery is light and airy with several tables to dine at. Located across the street from the Glen Oaks library on Union Turnpike, there is ample street parking as well as the large parking lot located behind the bakery. There is convenient access to public transportation too: the Q36 and Q46 stop steps away. My family and I truly enjoyed our time at Rose Valley bakery and cannot wait to do so again!“

“I've been going to HDL consistently for 2 years now and it's still one of my favorite hotpot places in nyc. In terms of cleanliness, service and food quality it is top notch. “The service was top notch! Came on a Saturday for lunch and it was surprisingly not too crowded. All the dishes were super authentic Beijing cuisine. If you get the duck set, they would offer to either deep fry the carcass or make it into a porridge. We picked deep fry and loved it. I have never been so excited about any vegetable dishes but the beans were one of the favorite Chinese vegetable dishes ever. Our reservations was for 4:30 pm unfortunately due to traffic and we were coming from NJ and Connecticut, but they were so accommodating. I was told there’s not enough seating for everyone but they would gladly accommodate us at the event space next door. I agreed.
