“KCBC Brewery stands out as a beacon for beer aficionados, boasting an expansive space that instantly welcomes you with its warm and inviting vibe. The sheer size of the place allows for a diverse crowd, from casual drinkers to serious hop heads, all finding their niche in this vibrant atmosphere. The selection of beers is nothing short of amazing, with each brew showcasing the craftsmanship and passion of its creators. From rich, robust stouts to crisp, refreshing lagers, there's something for every palate. The vibe is lively yet relaxed, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day or kickstart a night out with friends. However, there's a catch—KCBC's focus is solely on their brews, meaning snack options are non-existent. While this might be a slight downside for those looking to pair their pint with a quick bite, the quality and variety of the beers on offer more than make up for it. It encourages guests to immerse themselves fully in the tasting experience, perhaps even prompting a visit to local eateries before or after. In essence, KCBC Brewery is a must-visit for its exceptional beers and the nice vibe it offers, even if it means planning your snacks elsewhere.“
“For a micro brewery, they sure do have varieties. For those of who are sick of the IPA revolution, we have options! But don't worry if you love IPAs, they have those too. Best dogs. Best trivia. Best rotation of food vendors. Favorite brewery in NYC“
“Being possessed of a very childlike palate that only enjoys extremely sweet and soda/juice/candy-type beverages, I used to hate beer and had never had one In even remotely enjoyed. However, trying some of Evil Twin's sours, I'm definitely a beer convert (well, Evil Twin's sours and similarly sweet beers, at least).“
“An impressive selection of CBs ranging from refreshing flagship pilsners and lagers at approx. 5% alc. content, to bold IPAs with around 7% ABV, and even indulgent rich barrel-aged stouts boasting 10-13% ABV. The staff is efficient and welcoming, ensuring a pleasant experience. One tip: if you plan on ordering food, it's advisable to do so nearer to the entrance before proceeding to the counter beer seats to avoid missing out on the opportunity to pay with your credit card!“
“This is everything you want in a local brewery. Open, chill interior; beertenders who are friendly and know what they’re pouring; beer, cocktails, snacks, and nonalcoholic options aplenty. *AND* it’s queer, woman, and veteran owned. Also, the Fan Fan Tart Disco deserves to be in a museum. It’s that good.“
“Other Half is located a block from the apartment building I live on. Ever since I moved here nearly three years ago and tried one of their IPA’s, I haven’t been able to drink beers from other breweries. This might seem like an exaggerated statement, but it is true. Their beers are at a completely different league than anything I’ve ever tried. World class.“
“The beer is amazing here. I am usually a fan of stouts and I absolutely loathe sours; however, I love trying everything. My friend and I finally made it to Evil Twin on the last day of our trip. I had the Irish Coffee Stout, which was so smooth, and my friend had the Evil Fusion Winter Edition Sour Ale. I reluctantly tried her beer and was blown away. I have never had such a smooth and delicious sour. The flavor is complex and wonderful. All beer lovers should flock to this place.“
“One of my absolute favorite places in the City! My rugby club has been patronizing the Bronx Brewery since they were just the place on 136th in the South Bronx, and we were psyched for the EV location. The burgers and beer are fantastic, but what makes it truly special are the staff that male you feel right at home - shoutout to Taylor and Za, and all the homies!“
“Adrienne's NYC is a culinary gem nestled in Broad Channel, Queens. It never fails to dazzle with food and gorgeous views of the water! The ambiance, decor, and service makes the experience unforgettable. I have had the pleasure of attending both dinners and events at Adrienne's Restaurant and it's consistently EXCELLENT EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.The menu is unique with melt in your mouth choices. One favorite: Bolognese with a rich sauce that transports you to Italy. And, save room for dessert because Colleen's cheesecake is legendary! The owners are on site and active in service. This is a true oasis so make reservations for a special occasion or an extraordinary meal; you will be satisfied from start to finish!“
“A very good brewery hidden away in Rockaway. The decor may not be high end, but there is a pool table and a large indoor and outdoor seating area. I go to a brewery for good beer, and am not concerned about the prettiness of the brewery. The bartender, Dillon, gave great service and gave good pours. Very impressed with the service. Both of the IPA beers I am having are very good, the Rockaway IPA and the Hawaiian Pizza IPA. It is very good to note that they still serve beer in the 16 ounce glasses at $7 to $8 for a pint, and are not overcharging their customers at $9 or $10 for a 12 ounce pour. I say that if you are getting 25% less beer, then you should be getting charged 25% less, not more. That definitely adds a star to the rating. Is a six star rating available?“
“Cool high ceilinged space with brewing taking place right in the middle of the floor. Great selection of beers, small food menu, but everything I had was superb. Service was attentive and friendly. I’ve been road tripping and visiting a LOT of breweries but their Almost Famous NEIPA is the best beer I’ve had this trip.“
“What a friendly place! My husband, a visiting friend and I stopped here on our way to a neighborhood errand yesterday. We meant for the stop to be just a quick “taste” of something healthy, because we were feeling a little bit shell shocked after a late Saturday night. In BKE, we found a restful, sunny, hospitable environment. Jackie - not sure of her title, but let’s call her the “resident expert” - kindly let us taste her favorites from the tap before we ordered. My favorites were a raspberry kombucha and a bright blue pea flower shot (!) and my husband loved his latte, a special creation of Jackie’s (pictured). We stayed a lot longer than we had meant to and left feeling happy - we will be back!“
“Wish they had more of a beer selection, especially with all the breweries in the area, but the atmosphere here is totally unique and worth it. The donuts were to die for, especially for only $4, and 5 flight glasses for $18 is also a great deal. Interesting space in the back for music meetups, we really enjoyed it. Thanks!“
“Amazing beer and great location, just could use an update to their interior design/ambience. Would love to have the lights turned down a bit at night as it’s quite bright and there are some tacky/kitschy elements, but otherwise worthwhile to visit for sure.“
“rustic factory turned into brewery. definitely had strong Brooklyn vibes with the babies and dogs running around. Great selection of drinks and also has a nice library in the back to purchase books. also heard there are pop-up food trucks in the summer. 10 out of 10 definitely would come back“
“Love and highly recommend this place. The sake is delicious and approachable for sake newbies, the staff is super knowledgeable and passionate, and the vibe is chill and dog friendly. The brewery tour is a fantastic deal (it includes a few drinks) and super informative—they explain the process so well that by the end of the tour you’re left with clear ideas about how sake is made and various factors to look at when identifying sakes.“
“This is such a casual cool spot to chill, hang out, have a drink, and you are free to bring take-out food here from somewhere else. They have board games, card games, and so much outdoor and indoor space. The price is awesome and has a little something for everyone! I highly recommend.“
“Huge airplane hangar of a brewery and taproom. Lots of beers on tap that run the gamut of tastes and styles. There's a lot of active stuff happening around here and you can really get lost in the enormous culture surrounding this place. Small food plates are available and they seem to have food pop-ups as well. The other night I had a pizza during happy hour that cost a mere ten dollars. What a steal!“
“It feels like the area has become saturated with high alcohol hazy IPAs, which I do enjoy, but this place offers more variety for the everyday beer lover. Very friendly staff, lots of indoor and outdoor space and if you catch it on the right day, you get an awesome collaboration with some of the cities most underrated food trucks and tasty bites. Great way to spend some time. Just wish there was more regular TV viewing for sports, but that's just my bias.“
“First time visiting Brooklyn and this place was our first op. A Cool vibe. Got margherita pizza and pretzel here. Variety of beers to chose from. I chose the nitro oat stout since it was a cold day in Brooklyn. Great service- waitress was very attentive and the food came out very fast.“
“Family, friends, and loved ones, what’s missing? Beer. They have it completing everything that is needed in life.Awesome weirdly decorated brewery with lots of seating and good vibes. Pricing is great and the staff is super nice. Definitely worth visiting.“
“After trying to take the train, then using our GPS, we finally said Uncle and called an Uber. So glad we stuck with it. This Nano Brewery is definitely off the beaten path but what a spectacular find! Loved the Ginger IPA and the Lychee Red brews. Being a craft beer lover from MN, we were extremely happy to find this place. I’d highly recommend their beers. Next time I’m in NY or you are in NY, you gotta go the extra mile and find this place. Great beers await you!!“
“Great place to go with friends, get some drinks and play games (They had cornhole) Drinks are a reasonable price and are really good. There was an event happening when we came by, but it never felt super crowded with how much space there was.“
“食物好吃!2024/March editFood is amazing as always, and the staffs are super friendly and makes you relax at the moment you step into the space.Really appreciate to have a place like this in the neighborhood, thank you!Recommend chicken slaw for all the Asian stomachs, we order it every time when they serve foods (Thursday to Sunday)“
“Stopped by to watch a football game. Now, I have no idea what goes on in the world of football but I loved the vibe of this bar. There are also cozy couches in the middle with the perfect view of the game. My friend and I enjoyed their wide selection of beers, and also their huge chicken sandwich. Fries were insanely good.“
“I recently held my engagement party at Three's Greenpoint in the Studio space and had an amazing evening! The staff was super helpful when planning everything from logistics to setting up flowers, cake, and pictures when we got there! They made us feel super welcome and our guests were really impressed! Shoutout to Dave and Angie and the bartenders we had that night, they made sure we always had a drink in hand :)“
“Fun brewery for board games, and watching the game. Came for a Sunday afternoon, place had a good crowd and seemed to have an event going on, bonsai tree pruning. Interesting I know…the beer was good, for sure would come back to check out the bingo or events they host. Also big plus for being in Astoria ? probably my favorite place in Queens.Staff were nice, walk up order a beer and sit anywhere. Chill. Food options limited, they recommend ordering delivery from nearby restaurants.“
“This is a real Irish bar. Not in the sense of taped up paper leprechauns or a tinsel HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY banner, but rather campaign photos of John and Robert Kennedy, as well as other candidates for office going back more than 100 years. It's one of the oldest bars in New York City, and decorated with historical markers, play tickets, political posters and buttons, as well as a painting of a naked lady! Your choices for drinks are light ale or dark ale. They make good sandwiches, too.“
“Great service. The bartenders are truly friendly and accommodating. Offered great recommendation's for beer based on our taste palette. I prefer an IPA and on the bitter side so the Piff did not disappoint. It was complimented by the chicken nachos which had a very savory flavor. Will definitely be back again.“
“Come and try all the beers from the world-famous brand directly at the factory. It is also possible to visit the factory, it’s just incredible. To do if you are passing through Brooklyn. The choice of beer is quite large and there are even non-alcoholic choices!“
“I came here on a weekend to watch the NYC Gladiators play in the backyard. The rain was really heavy and the backyard area doesn't have the best drainage or cover so it wasn't the best situation. I got their IPA which is alright. Maybe one day I'll come here and try the other beers.“
“I came here because I was visiting my friends that live in NY... Other Half is like a pilgrimage for me. So looking forward to it! The beers were insane... Of course. The staff however were completely miserable and (skanked a tonne of cash out of me) and really soured the experience for me. This was on the 15/03/24.“
“Amazing sour beers and a fun vibe! There’s indoor seating, the bar, and picnic tables outside as well. At some point they were going to open the roof but I wasn’t able to see if they ever did. Great drinks and pop up foods on the weekends“
“My partner and I visited two weeks ago and had a phenomenal experience!Carolina was a server and was super knowledgeable about the sake and friendly. She and Kyle were very thorough about answering all our questions about the process of brewing sake (and shochu!) and how Kura develops their food and beverage menu. It was a fairly quiet day, so they (and Joanne!) really took their time making us feel at home.It was St. Patrick's Day and Kyle made some cute experimental shots with greenery from the local market to share with us.The presentation of everything in this bar was cute! We loved the use of scientific beakers as decanters. We had a flight of everything on tap, as well as some cocktails and the pickled fruit and veg platter. The pickled strawberries in particular were delightful and a nice compliment to the sake.My recommendations: Sunset (sake) and Kakariko (cocktail). Will definitely be back next time we are in New York! It's tragic they don't have a Boston outpost, but I'm glad some of their sake is available locally... and we got some bottles to take home.Thank you everyone so much for the great time!“
“The LIC-born brewery, best known for its farmhouse ales and saisons, has a new location. The larger area has a dedicated tasting area. 14 beers available in 8- and 14-ounce cups on tap. A hefty pour costs, on average, $7. A few bottles and cans are available for takeout. There are lots of seats at the larger communal tables and at the bar. Don't forget to greet the brewery dog.“
“If you like IPAs, this place is not for you. They're low abv. However, the spot is very cozy and chill. What I did appreciate is that they have some food options, and I can imagine taking some of my friends who prefer lagers or pilsner here. This just wouldn't be my first place to drink.“
“Great place to try different flavours. It's a must go in cold or sunny day. Friendly and outstanding service, always room for new neighbors. Amazing exper being here. Take the time to visit it if your around the city. Either if you are local or a tourist having new brewery's experience. 150 % recommended.“
“Such a cool experience. I had no idea that this is America's ONLY Makgeolli brewery. Outside of Korea, you won't find this anywhere in America except Greenpoint, BK. I learned so much about the brewing process and what Yakju, Takju and Hwaju is. Loved the tastings at the end and that you can buy bottles as well. Really interesting experience that is unique and special. This def changed the way I look at Makgeolli (which I've only got from HMart in the past). We have to come back for the food sometime, it smelled and looked awesome.“
“Their mojito sour is legit fantastic 5/5.The atmosphere is ok. The space is a weird shape and I don't think the current table arrangement is complimentary to it.Cleanliness was middling. A few empty glasses left on the tables when we got there and the bathroom was out of toilet paper.“
“I'm so glad that Bronx Brewery has expanded into Hudson Yards! Their food is always so good and the wait staff led by their fearless manager is top tier!! I went in there with a group of 25 people and they hosted us without a hitch! Delicious food, impeccable service, and altogether awesome vibes. Shane, Lucky, Ber, Gene, & Luis, if you're reading this, you are living legends to me and my crew!! Thank you guys so much! We will be back...“
“Stellar beers and awesome food! Impossible burger with chiabatta bun was perfect for vegans. The Keg burger was the best burger my wife had had in years. If that wasn't enough, they had an NA IPA on tap that tasted indistinguishable from an alcoholic beer. Great bartender too. I even liked the music :)“
“Threes Brewing Moynihan Station is a great addition to the Moynihan Train Hall complex. It's a convenient place to grab a beer or a bite to eat before or after your train ride. The brewery has a wide variety of beers from classic styles like Pilsner and IPA to more unique offerings like a Sourdough Ale and a Wild Ale. The staff is always happy to help you choose a beer that you're sure to enjoy. The atmosphere at Threes Brewing is casual and relaxed. It's a great place to meet up with friends for a beer. Here are some specific things that I liked about Threes Brewing Moynihan Station:* Wide variety of beers from classic styles to more unique offerings.* Knowledgeable and helpful staff.* Casual and relaxed atmosphere.Overall, I had a great experience at Threes Brewing Moynihan Station. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and enjoyable place to grab a beer before or after their train ride.“
“Real good neighborhood brewery. When it’s nice weather, they have pop-up taco on the side. Also good place to grab a to-go cup, and listen to some nice live music across the street. Has indoor area too, but outside with nice weather is where you want to sit“
“Loved this ? in Greenpoint. It has a nice beer selection. The space is big but my favorite part was the rooftop with the multicolored tower. The roof seating is comfortable. It has picnic tables and some tables with high top chairs. The vibe is laid back. I will definitely revisit.“
“Went here for the pokemon show called Poke Ebbs hosted by sasuke zilla. The place was very clean and spacious the event was nice and amazing and had a great crowd. Zilla told us about the food where we ordered the chicken sandwich and it was very scrunches. Best food I've had in awhile ! Def come here for dinner and a good time !! Steve was also so nice ! Greatest bar tender in the world !“
“This placed looked nice and the night we picked was a Friday. The music was pumping! A great selection was in rotation by the DJ.I really wanted to hit happy hour but we got in very late. The atmosphere is very nice and had a very eclectic crowd. The bar was filled. We ordered a few drinks! Which was just OK! Also grabbed some food that was also just OK! The music and friendly staff made up for it all! It had a lounge type of vibe to me.I will return though to try the happy hour and Pizza!“
“A band was playing live music when I arrived here on a Saturday night. I hadn't intended to watch the show and the space was fairly small. The beers I had were alright, far from the best. Overall it's a short walk from the L and it's worth checking out once.“
“Neighborhood gem and dog friendly! Original Finback Brewery location. They have a rotating selection of stuff on tap and to-go. They offer small and regular pours of stuff on tap. There are picnic style tables and high tops on barrels. There's also some Finback merchandise for sale.Recently got a fridge that displays 4 packs and bottles for sale. At the bar, they have a menu that describes their drink options in depth. They have delicious food pop-ups and when there's no food pop-ups, they have a list of places they recommend for local delivery. There is free residential street parking.5/5. Highly recommend.“
