I wanted to tell management in person but it’s busy on a trivia night. Abby was so friendly and attentive. She checked backed in with us several times during the night. She’s got a great personality and she knows how to manage her guests. Thanks Abby! You’re the best!“

“My phone wouldn't let.me scan the bar code to complete the survey yesterday but a review is definitely necessary. First time at.the Troy location. I had honey bbq wings for an appetizer. Great stuff. And for an entree was ribs, brisket with sides of chili and salad. A came.with cornbread Everything was spectacular, one of the.best meals I have had. Bacon in the chili and the house dressing being bbq ranch were nice touches. My server Alison deserves a lot of credit too. Pleasant person, hard working, and made great suggestions when I asked. Alison and the food made this a great experience. Highly recommended and I will be back.“

“As a Diner Enthusiast, it's not often that I come by and appreciate the New Era of Diners. This is the kind of diner that will be a leader in the diner culture. It's aesthetic, cool, modern, and has some REALLY good food. I don't say that lightly. They have a coffee bar to grab a coffee while you wait for your table. Menu was quite unique. “I went to this place to pick up breakfast for two. The place was very clean and bright and the staff was very attentive. I’m trying to diet so I got a poached egg on toast and it was great. Loved whatever they seasoned it with. The other party got a big breakfast: eggs hash browns, etc and was raving about it. Nice place !“

“Absolutely wonderful experience! I took 12 employees out to celebrate the holiday season and see a show in Albany. From the time we called for a reservation, right through dinner, the entire staff, and especially our server Casey were so welcoming and accommodating. The drinks, food, and service were all superb! Casey made us feel like we were the only thing that mattered in the restaurant, while the kitchen and bar handled some special requests with ease! In a world where the meaning of hospitality seems to have been forgotten by so many, this restaurant still knows what it means, and executes flawlessly. I highly recommend, and will definitely be back when in the Albany area. (I may even have to make a special trip back just for this restaurant!)“

“Grappa 72 has always been my favorite. ❤️here’s why. I hadn’t been in awhile- used to go frequently, so I grabbed a to-go order of their excellent fettuccini bolognese and some bruschetta to take home after a very long drive- ❤️❤️❤️and had a glass of wine at their friendly and comfortable bar while I waited. It’s 100 degrees outside- so I wasn’t dressed (shorts and an ocean city tee lol) but it was early.. so I popped in to wait for my order. From reception to bar to the chef popping out with my order- to the other lovely guests who were popping in as well and enjoying banter and kind conversation.. the bartender primo making everyone happy- I can’t tell you how much that atmosphere warms my soul. Good people, great food, no pretensions, phenomenal service.. and I can attest from so many previous visits- a warm and inviting dining room where when they have music you never want to leave. Soooo well done from every aspect. Thanks Grappa!!! I’ll be back soon, I’ve missed you while I’ve been away! Did I mention the bolognese? “Went on international donut day, donuts were good but a bit of chewy texture. Only thing that was disappointing was the cinnamon roll, it was dry and hard. (Edit) So I came back after the owner asked that I retry the cinnamon roll, the 2nd time it was definitely better and fresher but maybe I just prefer a thicker roll but wasn't dry. The fudge fancy was decent but on the smaller side compared to other local bakeries. The Lobster tail wasn't bad just have never had a custard filled so it has a different taste and it's very crispy. The Maple Cream Bacon Cronut was amazing and made the trip worth it.“

“This place is so nice and the guy they had out front was awesome. Very friendly and good at making conversation that was appropriate for the situation. As soon as we walked in I could smell how good this place was going to be. The overall atmosphere was a really nice mix of casual and more upscale. Very nice seating arrangements and I loved the nice blue fake fire place. I would definitely recommend them. We also went during a time when it was not very busy about 4pm yet there were still a handful of tables full despite the unpopular time.“

The restaurant is nicely styled and comfortable. The greeters and wait staff couldn't have been kinder or more professional. $28.99 is worth every penny just for that. The longest we had to wait between orders was no more than 5 minutes. The food was fresh, perfectly presented and absolutely delicious! I really can't find the superlatives to describe it. Everything combined made this experience one of the best outings I've ever had. I HIGHLY recommend this place.“

The warm short ribs really hit the spot with their sweet flavor. The appetizer portions were small but just right for two people. The sushi was good, while the ramen could’ve been richer—the broth wasn’t very strong. Still, I left feeling very satisfied, and that’s why I’m giving it 5 stars.“
