“Being a Bronx Italian girl, let me tell you this place is the place to be. I’ve been here 3 times and they do not disappoint. I met the owner the first time I came in, he was a chef in Westchester and it shows. Chicken parmigiana was thin, crispy and amazing. Penne aldente. Grilled chicken arugula salad fantastic. Garlic knots so good. And the zeppoles, let me tell you, the most amazing zeppoles ever. I have an allergy to shellfish and the owner (who is the chef) made sure he cooked my cutlet seperate. I appreciate that more than anything else! I don’t live in Carmel anymore, I live in Dutchess county but work down here and will keep returning. I hope they do well!“

“It's a nice place to eat food is delicious, but the outside appearance always looks like it's close , he needs to put up lights in the window and clean the windows and the those curtains out and put art on the windows to make it “

“Great food and even better people! I placed an order after hours late on a Sunday night through Uber Eats. They called to tell me it was a mistake and they stopped delivering already, but when I explained that it was for my kids and we didn't have other options because we were heading home from the airport, they graciously agreed to make the food and deliver it to us! Thanks again!“

“There was some construction right outside today (not the restaurant's fault obviously) but the staff was very nice and made sure we sat in a place that was further away from the noise :) The food was really good! And the wait time on the food was not that bad. Would definitely recommend and come back again!“

“Just left a crazy Thursday night at IL Forno. What a fun and enjoyable evening we had. We walked in with no reservations and the manager snuck us right in and we even got to the listen to an amazing singer. We have been here a few times, this was by far the most fun we had. Everyone was laughing. The staff which seems to be plenty was having a good time. The manager and Owners kept walking around and making sure all was good and everyone was happy. “My wife and I stopped here in Oct 2021 on our way up to Connecticut after a 5 hour flight from Las Vegas to JFK and battling NYC traffic after getting the rental car. After a full day of traveling, she and I were both exhausted and hungry. The restaurant itself and the pizza were absolutely awesome. I only gave service 3 stars because they wouldn’t let my wife use the restroom. I can’t remember why. Overall, I’d come back. The pizza and the staff were both awesome. “We had our daughter’s confirmation at Lucia’s at the end of April. I was very pleased with the attentiveness as we planned the party and decided on final touches. “Love Maria's Pizza when we moved up here to Yorktown a few years ago Maria was the first pizza shop we ordered from and they never disappoint. The service and delivery is great and everybody's always very nice when they answer and take our orders. Definitely recommend Maria's pizza and we're definitely going to try there. The drunken chicken is my favorite chicken Parm pizzas excellent. Tried the new cannoli chips and dip loved we're gonna soon try Maria's famous 3 foot pizza cause we'll be having a gathering so we're gonna try that when ordering it arrives early and hot so if you're in the Yorktown area, try Maria's Pizza. “The next stop on my CertaPro Painters Pizza challenge was Amores in Katonah. Lots of options in the display case. I went with the meat lovers and the caprese. Cookies JUST came out of the oven and the place smelled amazing. Had to grab me one of those. Staff was friendly, a good experience and I’d go back.“

“I would definitely come back here again. Have a wide variety of pizza, soups pastas, calzones, etc. It’s very popular with the locals. They also offer various desserts. I knocked down a star because the bathroom can use increased cleaning. I feel like those pizzas be a little less crunchy.“

“A cozy Italian-American in Mahopac on Route 6, that is worth a trip from anywhere! The review, may sound like hyperbole, but it's not! A friend mentioned it had good food, great prices, and table service and he was going down there, so we all stopped in for lunch. Great decision. The prices are very reasonable! One of the best Italian-American restaurant/pizzerias I've found in years; and I've eaten more than my share of pizza in many countries. Only top quality ingredients are used! We each ordered a different 12" pizza, one for each of us. In hindsight, we could've ordered one pizza that the three of could have shared and would we have been satiated! My significant other ordered a prosciutto and arugula pizza. She had one at Cancino's in Mexico City November 2019 and LOVED it. We've never seen it on another menu here. So, when she saw it on their menu, she ordered it right away! It was perfect! There was about 4 ounces of arugula and the $20 something a pound prosciutto on it. See the photo. No crispy cremated prosciutto chips nor wilted arugula arrived to the table. My friend had the red meat pizza. It looks like about a pound of sausage meat and a whole pepperoni was sliced and put on his pizza. He kept picking pepperoni off his pizza and putting it on ours. What we had looked like a normal pepperoni pizza; there was that much on his! There was a small group who ordered pasta dishes. They looked great also. Yelpers get a 10% discount.“

“The food was great. I ordered the pork chop with spinach and roasted potatoes. The food came out hot just the way I like it. My friend ordered the chicken Mona Lisa. I tried my Friends entree and I will say what I tried was fabulous. I love Norca the bartender and she gives wonderful service. Norca makes you feel like you don't want to leave, she is very welcoming and warm. I like to visit this restaurant when Norca is working. When Norca doesn't work I don't show up and neither does my friends. Very nice decor comfortable atmosphere great vibes all the way around. The pizza is also great too. “After eating here a few times for dinner and or lunch we decided it was a great place to do our office holiday party. I had noticed they have a private room with large glass doors and inquired about booking it. They got back to me really quick with a better deal than anything else local we could find, meal options, etc. But honestly we would have paid more. They printed us out menus for our event. They lined up two tables for dining and have the extra tables for a white elephant gift exchange. We chose to have appetizers served family style (nanas bread with cheese sauce and marinara, crispy meatballs ( these were so good!) tomato and mozz salad and calamari) there were a few plates of each dish placed and timed so we weren’t overwhelmed . Then we had four options- chicken piccata, halibut, pasta ragu and a vegetarian option. After this came out we did our gift swap and then had coffee accompanied by tiramisu and a lemon crostata dessert. This didn’t feel like a under thought buffet style party. It came out in courses- we had plenty of time to enjoy each other outside of our office. We didn’t feel rushed. The wait staff was so on top of everything. No one had to ask for refills etc. Multiple managers came in to check on us periodically ( and the owners brother) and they packed up whatever we didn’t eat. We actually took all the desserts back to the office. All in all I would 10000 percent suggest this for anyone looking for a party location. While we enjoyed it for a large office plus spouses Christmas party, it was spacious enough that I could see rehearsal dinners, retirement parties graduations etc. Everyone left happy! We’ll be booking it again in the future.“

“My wife and I found Mario's on a trip to Mt Kisco to get my phone fixed. I can not tell you how good the food here is. If you want absolutely the finest Italian food and pizza, you need to get here. It's my new favorite spot, hands down. MARIO, you're the man! This is not only food, it's art, a masterpiece.“

“Hubby and I came here to meet our friend for brunch. It's a spacious, cozy, pleasant cafe with enough room for small and big groups. Alexa was our server. She's fast and attentive. Good! We'll eat slowly. We ordered mussels for appetizer. Then I had a wild fish taco, Hubby had a Village burger, and our friend had a duck quesadilla; I am not kidding; it's a duck quesadilla! Of course, I had my hot green tea! I love my hot tea during brunch or lunch. The mussel was phenomenal! The food was exceptional! We loved everything that we ordered. The homemade creamy sauce that they used on top of my taco was fantastic. I don't usually like creamy sauce or anything with my food, but I definitely enjoyed this one. I live in Phoenix az and they packaged my order so I could take it home on the plane and then when I ordered for my family for valentine's day they separated the portions to go to 2 different places for me. “Let me start off by saying..There isn't many better options to have Italian food in NY and that includes NYC..The service, the food & the atmosphere is impeccable. The chicken scarpariello is the best i have ever had. The chicken is always cooked to perfection, sliced thin potatoes, fresh sausage, mushroom & onion along with a rich sauce that is out of this WORLD. I also get a side of pasta with garlic and oil as well. Their grandma slice is GREAT. the sauce, the crust and the cheese are all cooked flawlessly. “I can’t believe I’ve never eaten at their restaurant before tonight living my whole life in the area! After loving Limni for the time they were open, I heard that they were the same owners as Mezza Luna so we had to give it a try. The food was amazing! I got the veal saltimbocca which was delicious. The mesclun salad was great with a delicious homemade vinaigrette, and they had the same amazing affogatos that I fell in love with at Limni! Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend their restaurant for a nice night out, and their takeout for a cozy night in.“
