“I brought friends here on Dec 27th for dinner. Both are preety picky about where they eat, and I had assured them they would like it here. Very happy that I was not left disappointed. We had a wondeful dinner with them enjoying the turkey dinner and adding yorkshire puddings to their dinners( not sure, but they are infactuated with YP) I had the trio with shephards pie, chicken pot pie and steak and ale. It was great. They are still talking about this restaurant, so we will be back on the next trip to the falls. Thanks so much.“

“I may be biased after coming to this place for the last 30 something years, but there is a special vibe at The Pub that will always feel like home when you walk in. Between the original juke box loaded with the best of my memories from the 90's, to the pool table and the well poured drinks, I will forever recommend a down and dirty pop in to Essex St. Pub. And there's purse hooks under the bar! Who doesn't love a good hook to hang your bag on while you're bellied up to the bar?“

Didn’t take a single break between bites. Zero hesitation. Finished it, sat back, and tipped the chef like I just witnessed art.

“Enjoyed our visit to this old time neighborhood pub on Wing Wednesday. We had a short wait at the bar for a table of 5 and added a chair for an unexpected 6th. So many options for wings! All the sauces were flavorable. Our server made us feel right at home even though we had never been there before. You could tell this place has alot of regulars. Bartender We was friendly. “Went there for st. Patrick’s day. Couldn’t be more pleased. We had a reservation and got seated immediately. Service was fast and friendly and the food was out of this world. I think I’d sell my soul for more sticky toffee pudding. If you want an idea of their service I watched a man straight up slap a glass of beer out of the waitresses hands (he was a hand talker and it was an accident) and into the wall. She was super kind about it and someone (a manger or owner) came over and immediately changed out everything and cleaned everything up while the server got a new beer. Everyone was kind and quick about it and had I not happened to catch it out of the corner of my eye. they were so discrete Idt I would have. As a table we tried the Sheppards fries, the corned beef and cabbage, corned beef sandwich and sticky toffee pudding and all were incredible. Definitely will be back!“

“We go to Niagra every March for an EMS Hockey Tournament. These past 2 years we have found ourselves at Taps and it was great both years. Jill is awesome and looked after us both years. The food is great, especially the Nashville chicken sandwich. Thanks for the good times and the donation this year. Highly recommend“

“Excellent chicken wings and pub food. Super busy during concerts next door at the Riviera theater so plan accordingly. Get there at least an hour and a half early if you want to make a show at the Riviera. Last time I went a friend of mine waited over an hour to be served food and he actually got there before us???“

“Came here for dinner tonight. Asian nachos…who knew? They are crispy, just enough wasabi spice to keep it interesting and the chicken and hoisin sauce hits it home for the win. I also indulged in Jerk chicken wings and it was just like being back in Jamaica. Did you guys get your blue cheese from Buffalo? It was thick with good sized chunks of blue cheese….not like the watered down blue cheese you get at most wing places anymore. Service was great but we didn’t catch her name. The place was busy but she was attentive and we enjoyed everything about this visit.“
