“I brought friends here on Dec 27th for dinner. Both are preety picky about where they eat, and I had assured them they would like it here. Very happy that I was not left disappointed. We had a wondeful dinner with them enjoying the turkey dinner and adding yorkshire puddings to their dinners( not sure, but they are infactuated with YP) I had the trio with shephards pie, chicken pot pie and steak and ale. It was great. They are still talking about this restaurant, so we will be back on the next trip to the falls. Thanks so much.“

“The beef on weck was on point! The 9 ounce was so freaking delicious and the seasonings on the roll were absolutely perfect! Also the beef was perfectly tender as it should be and the horseradish was absolutely fabulous. Not too overpowering like it sometimes can be at other establishments but also the perfect amount of runnyness to it where it spread its flavor out evenly over the perfectly prepared roast beef.“

“I was surprised how much I enjoyed this dive bar. The Pink was my usual scene, but a friend asked me to meet them at Founding Fathers for a drink, and we had a great time. Everyone was welcoming, very warm and friendly atmosphere. Gives a cozy local diner vibe, but a bar.

That was a few years ago, I’ve been considering going back recently. I’m sure it’s exactly the same! Lol. This time I want to try the food!“

“Went there for st. Patrick’s day. Couldn’t be more pleased. We had a reservation and got seated immediately. Service was fast and friendly and the food was out of this world. I think I’d sell my soul for more sticky toffee pudding. If you want an idea of their service I watched a man straight up slap a glass of beer out of the waitresses hands (he was a hand talker and it was an accident) and into the wall. She was super kind about it and someone (a manger or owner) came over and immediately changed out everything and cleaned everything up while the server got a new beer. Everyone was kind and quick about it and had I not happened to catch it out of the corner of my eye. they were so discrete Idt I would have. As a table we tried the Sheppards fries, the corned beef and cabbage, corned beef sandwich and sticky toffee pudding and all were incredible. Definitely will be back!“

“Essex is one of those places where you could go every night and still bump into different people. I mean it has its regulars and you’ll see a lot of familiar faces, but it has a kind of charm about it that only a place like Essex can have. It’s where those of us who miss the Pink and Brick bar go when we wanna same misfits we all know and love. I met one of my best friends here. The drinks are always good and the bartenders are always on it. A the food is surprisingly good!“

“This Bar is far out the best bars around with friendly staff and awesome food. I just received my whole rack of ribs and a bag of beef jerky that Dom one of the owners smoked for me. This was the best Ribs and Beef Jerky I have ever had. I definable recommend this place for some cocktails and a good time.“

“Went to Taps this evening with friends. Wife and I had a busy few days with renovations and just didn't feel like cooking tonight. Taps didn't disappoint. They have a very good selection of food choices, the food is always good, and the service is excellent. Though they have a good selection of beverages, I really enjoy their craft beer. We've been to Taps several times this summer, and we will definitely continue going for the food, the prices and the very friendly, courteous, and attentive service. Well done Taps. “Enjoyed our visit to this old time neighborhood pub on Wing Wednesday. We had a short wait at the bar for a table of 5 and added a chair for an unexpected 6th. So many options for wings! All the sauces were flavorable. Our server made us feel right at home even though we had never been there before. You could tell this place has alot of regulars. Bartender We was friendly. We will definitely return“
