“Food was delicious. We had 2 eggs over easy, Croissant French Toast with strawberries and almonds and corned beef hash. Coffee very good, great service. 20 minute wait very worth it. Good texting system for putting your name in. Parking is tight, we parked across the “

“Always satisfied at this diner. Irish breakfast is a large serving, good for 2 people really- has black and white pudding, beans, ham with cooked tomatoes. Breakfast specials come with a small glass of juice, good prices. Mykonos omelette had chunks of feta with tomatoes. 2 eggs with meat is perfect serving size. The place is clean, clean restrooms. Food came out quickly. Service, during our most recent visit, is friendler than the last one. Meter parking in the area charges $0.25 for 1/2 hr.“
“This is a traditional NY style Greek diner, huge menu, coffee all day, porcelain booths, the works. Lots of seating including sides with fishbowl views of Westchester and Buhre Avenues ... If that is your thing. Such a place is a comfort for many, as it is for me.“
“Homey diner spot in the neighborhood and it’s a real gem. Kinda hard to notice from the store front but inside is a bustling and welcoming family-owned diner. The staff is friendly, attentive, and quick to serve. Their coffee is delicious and I have yet to find a dish that I wasn’t satisfied with. Tried the corned hash with eggs and it was yum :) The chicken salad triple decker sandwich was also delicious. The food is always made fresh and super filling! Will definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu! Thanks for the great service!“
“My wife and I, wanted to experience a different place to eat from. After searching Google search, she decided to go to this diner after reading their reviews. This was our first time visiting "The Classic Diner." When we arrived to the location there was a small parking lot. I looked at my wife like," Where the h--- you bought me to! She payed no attention to my expression. She went to the back of the car and pulled out my wheelchair, then we proceeded to the Diner. We was greeted by the owner who directed us to our table. That's where all the fun began. Our waiter who goes by the name Tino, was very professional wrapped in a sense of humor made our dining experience that much enjoyable. As we sat and talked, our meals came, it was more than we expected. Half fry chicken, cooked to perfection alongside large French toast, coffee and juice. Couldn't eat all the chicken, so we got a to-go plate. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks to The Classic Diner. We will be back!“
“Hands down one of the best Diners in the Boogie Down Bronx for sure. The food is on point (exceptional) and the staff gives you that family-oriented feel if you dine in. Affordability is key for me, and this Diner meets my expectations. Top Diner in the Bronx for sure!!!!!“
“I love this Liberty Diner it's a clean Diner please everyone is respectful and it's food is fresh I love the staff everyone is respectful and I never had a problem please come in respectful or like Joe get out this Liberty Diner is like a good 10“
“It is the closest you will ever come to an old-fashioned, old-school greasy spoon dinner. The cooks are very fast at preparing your food. The cheeseburger deluxe and the pancakes are my 2 favorite entrées.Parking: There is only street parking, and you must keep alternate-side parking and parking meter rules into consideration.“
“Excellent service however to the owners please put a lock on the ladies bathroom as it is only meant for one lady to use at a time. The bathroom stall has a big opening where if anyone enters into the bathroom you are exposed. Your every private part and what you are wiping is exposed. Unacceptable. Do something about this. The woman who work there why haven’t you complained! I see you use it also?“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Splendid Diner and I must say, the experience was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere that instantly put me at ease.Firstly, let's talk about the food. I ordered their avocado eggs Benedict with a side of home fries and I was blown away by how delicious it was. The perfectly poached eggs, creamy avocado, and the tangy hollandaise sauce all came together to create a mouthwatering combination. The home fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way I like them. Each bite was a burst of flavors that left me wanting more. The quality of the ingredients used at Splendid Diner is clearly top-notch. Everything tasted fresh and the presentation of the dish was truly impeccable. It was evident that the chefs put a lot of thought and care into each plate, and the result was a truly memorable dining experience. Not only was the food exceptional, but the service at Splendid Diner was also worth praising. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made sure that I had everything I needed throughout my meal, enhancing the overall dining experience. In addition to the remarkable food and impeccable service, the ambiance of Splendid Diner was another highlight. The decor was tastefully done, creating a cozy and inviting space. It was the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable meal.Overall, I cannot recommend Splendid Diner enough. If you're looking for a place with great food, attentive service, and a wonderful atmosphere, this is the place to go. The avocado eggs Benedict with home fries was an absolute delight and left me craving for more. Splendid Diner definitely exceeded my expectations, and I am already looking forward to my next visit.“
“Amazing Diner. Pricey, but has plenty of selection, great food, even better milkshakes and great service. Highly recommend. Onion rings were fantastic and as a bonus, one of the few restaurants I’ve been able to find that actually serves Coke.“
“Still good- but a much different experience during peak times. A bit of a chaotic rush inside and a long wait to be seated, but this is expected at 10 am on a Sunday...and a pretty good sign of how the food is. We have eaten here on a Saturday at 9am and the atmosphere was more relaxed and we received more attention. The food is pretty impressive either way. Good quality ingredients are prepared with care here. Don't start with me on how good the challah French toast was. And the home fries met every expectation I ever had for potatoes! We are quickly becoming regulars...during non-peak times, that is!“
“I have been going to HH since 1991. Jimmy has always been very hospitable and cares about his customers. He is also very careful in making sure that everyone that works there is customer focused as well. a big shout out to Patty and Betty as they always have a smile on their face and are genuinely glad to see everyone that walks through the door. HH is the Cheers of Larchmont!“
“Best Diner in the bronx and reasonably priced. All food is fresh, deserts are great. It's the old fashion diner which are fading. We need more regular diners like this oneIts neighborhood customers are regular patrons, and everyone, know everyone. Staff is friendly. Professional and clientele customers are all friendlySoup and salad included with your dinnerNot many places offer thisIt's like I said it's the old days where diner's offered this combination, good value for your money. Food is always good. I have been going here for years.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp in back exit“
“Always a hit, have been coming here for years. There is sometimes a wait, but it is worth it. The staff is consistent, friendly, and very funny once you get to talking. And those breakfast potatoes ? Their hostess, Ana, and the rest of their crew are top notch at all times!“
“Very good food and service. Has free soda refills.Vegetarian options: Many options without meat, no clear sections for vegetarian dishesParking: Large free parking lot, always a couple spots available even at the busiest timeKid-friendliness: Crayons for kids, good kids menu. Always a decent number of families with young kids and they try to seat those families in the same sectionsWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking and ramp. The front door is not automatic but there is always a staff member nearby who can open the door if needed. Within the diner, most walkways and seating areas (2 out of three rooms) are wheelchair friendly“
“I definitely recommend Goerges Restaurant. We sat down, made our order, and waited for just a few. then came the food. I had the skirt stake with the baked potato, and my wife had the turkey with cranberry sauce. My mouth and stomach were overjoyed. The only thing that we didn't understand was the apple cream custard under the turkey. Either way, we sat by the window and went all in.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is at ground level.“
“The food was great. I was craving lox but i was also craving eggs and home fries…. so i got both! It really just hit the spot!! The homefries were a little bland- but nothing a little salt and BUTTER can’t fix! I actually preferred this over the overly greasy, salty, and mushy homefries you get at most other places so i can’t complain much. Eggs were perfectly cooked, sausage was scrumptious, the lox and veggies were SO SO FRESH, portions were generous, and the atmosphere was great! (bonus points for free wifi)The waitress was phenomenal. She truly made our experience. Bubbly, kind, warm, inviting.. a one of a kind server! I didn’t catch her name, but a mature lady with long blonde hair, glasses, and the sweetest accent you ever heard! I truly think she is an absolute gem. All servers should be like her- a true example of hospitality and grace!“
“Had a overnight layover and searched Google for best breakfast near me next morning. Not far from JFK. Busy spot (food is great) service is great and fast. Clean place. I dined in. Simple neighborhood type 4 or 6 indoor long table layout for eating. The food was great. Eggs, bacon, pancakes with a coffee. I would definitely eat there again. I highly recommend it.“
“Going to Steve's is always a great time. With this past Sunday for brunch being no exception! We ordered 3 different omelettes and french toast. Everything cooked to perfection. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, easy going staff that always has a smile. Walked away happy and will be going again. Highly recommend!!!“
“What better, than an amazing service! friendly staff, and delicious food. My kids burger was huge compared to any kids menus I usually order from. Mexican breakfast was very good and filling. Along with their signature drinks sangria/mimosa that were a decent size glass, all authentic alcohol. ? definitely come here with your family.“
“Cycled 40 miles from south shore Long Island. Got here 9 am and not much options in the area.Spoke to a local jogger and he recommended City Island Diner for its food & comfort. I’m glad I took his advice.Walked in and was politely greeted to an old school diner with counter top seats. I got the front row bar stool facing the cook.Watching the orders come in and the cook dishing out his magic. It’s akin to watching a conductor at a symphony.Close your eyes and listen closely to the eggs cracking and being scrambled. You can smell the home fries with peppers & onions. Hear the sizzling of the bacon. My pastrami omelette arrived in a big way. Fantastic flavor & portion. ??Really enjoyed the meal and especially the hospitality. Loved the venue ??“
“Love supporting my local dinners and restaurants in my neighborhood. Yea, I have been living in this area for over 10 decades now and have to say this dinner have stood to the test. It's still here and still remains to stand. Food is great, friendly staff, and serves good. Feeling a bit lazy over the weekend and don't wanna cook your own meal. Feel free to try out this place. Easy parking and the atmosphere is lively. They serve a pretty large portion. Bathroom is decent.Parking: They a share parking lot with other stores. No worries plenty of parking space.“
“The classic diner is back! A new diner at an old restaurant spot in Bayside. Very typical diner menu, tons of options. We opted for an omelette and the classic tuna melt. Good portions, and reasonable prices. Service was great too! No waiting but their lot was full and I parked two blocks down which is not bad at all! Will be going back!“
“I went to eat breakfast on Thursday at this diner and returned today with my grandbaby. The location was clean, and the service was quick. The server would go around asking if anyone needed more coffee. The food was good and plenty. You can also play the lottery Quickdraw as you eat. Parking is a plus.“
“This place was SO good I am writing this review in the car right after having bfast. Unexpected surprise but so worth it. We had avocado toast, shrimp and grits, and corned beef hash all was extremely delicious…down to my hot chocolate. We will definitely be coming back to this place. Easily one of the BEST diner breakfast’s we’ve ever had! With IMPECCABLE service from waitress Nicole, give her a raise because she adds spark to this place.“
“I highly recommend!! Great food!! I was there for breakfast, I can't wait to try lunch! It was clean, and neat (very important to me!!), great service, and friendly staff...also a must! One thing that stood out, is the "Fallen Soldier Table", a table set to honor our fallen soldiers. Since my son and husband are Veterans, this table has special meaning.“
“Good place located across the street from Iona. I tried it for a late lunch. Food was excellent and service was very good. Nice atmosphere with an "upscale diner" type feel - classy but not overdone. Prices were fair and food was much better than diner style. Parking in back of restaurant was a plus. I definitely will be going back !“
“February 1st, my first time eating here, and first impressions are important. When I walked in, it was spacious, clean, and busy. We got seated quickly and our hostess/ server ( I think her name was Martha or Marta. Im sorry if im saying it wrong) was great! She was friendly knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable! It was my sons birthday, and she contributed to his day by being kind. Thank you and I will come again.“
“The menu was excellent. The fact that students are responsible for hosting, serving, and cooking makes The Dining Lab a great experience. It's a BYOW and the atmosphere is perfect to dine with your friends and have a pleasant time. I am looking forward to the new semester.“
“Had a nice breakfast recently at Mineola Diner.A very cozy diner with friendly staff, inviting service, and a bit of old-time Diner feel.I must mention something important, at least to me, the cost of meals at Mineola Diner are more efficient than other area diners. With the cost of even Diner meals going up, this establishment can offer the same fare as other places but for less. I hope this doesn't change.Parking can be tricky, and there may be a wait. But patrons get turned over fast enough.“
“Nice place that looks like an ice cream soda place. Good food. Friendly service. Nice to go here for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Closes at 2pm.Vegetarian options: All the breakfast food- eggs, pancakes, waffles, omelets, bagels, fruitParking: Parking in front - Quarter timed parking meters on Hempstead Avenue in front or park on the street Acorn Road by houses. There are some meters and some free residential parking in front of houses.Free Parking Lot across the street down by the movie theater.Kid-friendliness: The place is colorful. It has ice cream soda chairs inside and tables are outside. Nicely decorated. They have ice cream here and they sell candy there by their mini gift shop area. ?“
“The food is Amazing!! The grits are always made to perfection. I always order a veggie omelette and grits from Uber eats and is always good every time. I just had to leave a review . Would post a picture but I couldn't wait lol . Y'all just have to try for yourselves;)“
“Sky View Diner is a delightful culinary haven! The menu boasts a diverse array of mouthwatering dishes. The friendly staff and cozy ambiance make it a perfect spot for a casual meal or a relaxed gathering. Exceptional food and excellent service - Sky View Diner gets my enthusiastic thumbs up!“
“My husband and I loved everything we ate. The chicken souvlaki platter and Greek grilled chicken were outstanding. Loved the Greek salad and the soups. Have to rave about the homemade key lime pie. Could have been the best I’ve ever had. So glad we stopped in here! Keep up the great job!!“
“Food is delicious and wait staff is pleasant. The cashier or assistant is such a wonderful lady. The dining areas are a bit too small when crowded. But my husband noticed a woman , who is often there for hours with her child. The table is large and can be used for other customers. The table is a mess full of papers, food, etc.“
“It seems that I have repeatedly been prompted to review Majestic Diner, of which there are seemingly two on Long Island. That said, I must start out with a slogan with 5 words. "LAWN GILAND" DINER FEATURING ABBONDANZA There is a silver lining in some clouds and this was the silver lining on an overnight stay in this area using points for lodging. When you leave one of the 2 NYC airports in Queens and board the LIRR to stay this far out, the hassle and work involved might outweigh the savings. (I learned that the Northern New Jersey lodging options make more sense, since you can use NJ Transit at very reasonable prices and it will put you right into Port Authority in Manhattan.) At any rate, I looked at my phone for diner food and Majestic Diner came up. With its metallic exterior and photos of bodacious and abundant food, I was interested. It was about a mile to get there, which I did on foot, complete with an umbrella, and it's on a major boulevard that has all the malls and big box shopping. Once inside, it's decked out as an old school diner, and perhaps even nicer than most adhering to this theme. There are many booths and, because of the big windows and good lighting, it's bright inside, which is what I prefer. I asked for a booth adjacent to a window so I could savor "Lawn Giland" street life. I saw the portions going to customers after sitting down ... and after seeing the menu board specials. These are not $15 packaged deals, given that this is a more expensive area and, well, not Buffalo. However, it's a good value and, coming in at mid-afternoon, the meal served as lunch and dinner. The meal consisted of chicken breasts in a tasty sauce atop a bed of pasta, a salad, cole slaw with a pickle spear, bread, a large slice of chocolate cheesecake, and refillable coffee. Everything on that list fetches at least 4 stars. Also, the ingredients were very fresh and I especially noticed this with the salad. I would have liked to have given the chocolate cheesecake 5 stars, but that is reserved for the now gone Concord Diner in Valley Stream, also on Long Island, where the chocolate was drizzled in to look marbled and which I ate during a lot of rumbling, which, as a Californian, made me think of an earthquake when it was just the LIRR going by. That was the best cheesecake I've eaten to date. The service at Majestic Diner was friendly and attentive. Could it be that taking photos tends to ratchet up the level of service? I ponder this every now and then. The patrons were also friendly. As I took photos, these two ladies from Brooklyn, but native to Poland, began conversing with me from their adjacent table, which was also pleasant. This also makes me ponder if I have a sign saying "foreigners, talk to me," since my friends observe this dynamic and state that it rarely happens to them! Continuing with the armchair sociology, many people have a knee jerk reaction to dislike and distrust anything related to the tri-state New York area. What I notice is that people in this area have routinely been more animated and more friendly to me than anyone in, say, Chicagoland or other Midwestern metropolitan areas has ever been and which is the inverse of the stereotypes. With the food being abundant, I was glad that I walked a mile to and from Majestic Diner. Not only that, I got to size up Long Island better and, for the most part, was amazed that many of the major streets are as large, or larger, than those in L.A.'s San Fernando Valley. It's time to wrap this up. So, here is what we have: 1) tasty food, 2) plenty of it, 3) wait staff that is amicable, 4) potential value - depending on what and how you order, and 5) an elaborate and nicely put together old school diner that I found appealing both inside and out. Go in with an empty stomach!“
“I ordered something pretty basic on the menu which was the "Cheeseburger Deluxe" medium temperature, and you know something it was absofreakinlutly delicious cooked to perfection Char-Broil flavor the lettuce and tomato and the onion ring and the pickle all fresh... The coleslaw was extremely disappointing very bland they use white cabbage which had no flavor whatsoever...I make coleslaw for a living and I use green cabbage always... I will go there again and again to go get a wonderful meal..?“
“We usually come for brunch and one day decided to come for dinner. We tried the dinner set menu, which comes with soup, an entree and a glass of wine. We ordered the chicken lemon and grilled platter. Both are a very good portion and their chicken lemon risotto soup is very delicious. Second time we came, Nick gave us a free bowl of risotto soup, which was very appreciated. Service has always been good at this place and we're now a regular.“
“Bill's Diner is a storefront in a dingy, littered shopping plaza in the Linden section of Queens. Despite its appearance the shopping plaza is busy and feels safe. Inside, the diner is very bright and well lit with big windows and mirrors adding to the bright look. Very clean inside. My turkey dinner was good and service was good. The menu has everything, like you expect in a diner. Better than expected. 4 out of 5 stars.“
“This place has existed for 100 years. Very impressive. The diner works just for breakfast and lunch. So we take to go. And time we were waiting , it's was great conversation with girl, who work there. I don't remember her name, unfortunately, but she helped us a lot about orders. Thank you for that) So food, just great, very tasty. We ordered milkshakes, which they make from ice cream (homemade). Omg,so great. So I will definitely come back here.“
“Small, worn down looking place, but food looks terrific and service was good. We only had drinks, coffee, cappuccino and lemonade, they were good, watched as food came out to other tables, all looked good, would return to try some of the food.“
“Place was empty. The lady and the manager was too nice. I felt like I have always been coming to this spot for years. I can't speak for rhe other reviews but I am very pleased at the service and the food. Need a little seasoning but ok for a quick bite.“
“This place is awesome, the entire staff is great, and their food is always on point! It may be one of many diners in this area but they keep their prices down and consistently serve delicious meals. Hands down one of the best spots in the entire county.“
“Must say the food is great ?. Will go back with my family again. If you don't want it to be too pricey, don't select from the brunch menu. Do selective items. Service it quick enough. Keep in mind it's not a big place, for example if you have a family size from 7 to 8. You can also call before you go, and you can probably make arrangements. The choices are not below. The banana Parkes with eggs, wafflesand fry chicken, French toast with eggs, sausage bacon and ham.“
“Went here for brunch and I got the egg plate with perfectly cooked, poached eggs. I also ordered ham and was disappointed that it was sliced lunch meat however it was good. Then they offer breakfast potatoes with peppers and onions or fries so I got fries. My friend got the veggie omelet and it looked amazing. Had zucchini and squash, mushrooms, onions and peppers and it was done just right. The price was fair for New York. Coffee was good.“
“I ordered a BLT and the taste was good but the sandwich was a little skimpy. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was cute (old fashioned diner). Price was about $5 more than I've paid elsewhere.Parking: Parking is difficult because of the Bronxville train station. You have to pay for parking.“
“Great, expansive menu. Nice location with a great interior. There is really something for everyone. The food was simple, but high quality which is exactly what a diner should be. Fresh ingredients and flavor simplicity goes a long way! Would return if in the area!“
