Most of the wait staff hired are in high school or college, making this a good place to go to if you’re looking to support neighborhood kids. The owner is a kind, respected member of the local town who goes above and beyond to give back to the community. 10/10 highly recommend.“

“Prices are different online than in the store, no one informs you. online it was $6 for a kids burger was charged $10. I paid more than I would at an actual sitdown restaurant. Staff needs to learn how to work with customers although its nit intended they come off as incredibly rude. Wont be coming back again.“

I hosted a party of 20 at Applebee’s, and the entire experience was absolutely outstanding! From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, organized, and incredibly accommodating. Handling a large group is never easy, but they made it look effortless.

Our server Alexandra went above and beyond, keeping drinks full, orders accurate, and everyone happy. The food came out quickly, hot, and perfectly cooked. Not a single mistake, which is impressive for such a big party! Every guest raved about both the service and the quality of the food.

The team Projwal Pradhan, Alexandra and Angel truly made our celebration smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. I’m so grateful for their professionalism and kindness. We will definitely be returning for future gatherings!

“I cannot say enough about the Library Cafe, the staff and the food! We had a 50th Birthday Party in the upstairs private room overlooking the bar. The food was delicious and there was PLENTY of it! The bar/wait staff was both attentive and quick getting to all of us! The party was perfect right down to the music which they let us pick! Definitely having more events at the Library!“

“I was greeted by the most pleasant, professional young lady named Ayanna. She immediately brought us to the table of our choice and then inform us that she would also be our server. She did not leave until she informed us of menu options that she thought we might be interested in and asked us if there was anything that we needed right away. When I told her to give us a little bit of time, she pleasantly agreed and did hesitate to frequently check on us to see if she could meet our needs. I ordered a cocktail for myself and a drink for my son, who accompanied me, and we placed our dinner order. Our food was served promptly and it was hot and delicious. Throughout dinner, she checked on us frequently to ensure we had everything that we needed. She also made pleasant conversation which I greatly appreciated as this was my first time at an Applebee’s location. She has gained you a customer for life. The food and the atmosphere was wonderful, but Ayanna definitely may be experience worthwhile.“

“Small place that was great for a family of five. They made room in the back. Appetizers and entrees were all yummy and good portions. Loves the rustic fries. Buffalo wrap, burger and chicken sandwich were all hits. Service was very attentive.“

“It's a basic diner. Breakfast food was acceptable but nothing to write home about. The waitress was quite busy and never brought a condiment I requested and we had to flag her down for the check despite being finished eating for a good amount of time. They recently renovated and the interior has no diner charm, it's just fairly generic but clean looking.“

“I’m a breakfast snob and I can say without question that Torkel’s Galley is first rate! The breakfast was one of the best that I have ever had. Cooked to perfection, the eggs, potatoes and bacon will be a memorable meal for a long time. The decor brought back fond memories of the old days of Halesite I only wish I lived closer to Halesite to frequent the Galley more often. I should note that I knew Torkel Knutson and his siblings back when I grew up on Huntington Harbor in the 50s and 60s. It was great to see him doing so well.“

“I just had my wedding at the Heritage Club, and the day went perfectly. I met with Mindy when touring the venue, and she was very helpful in explaining all the details, and she remained hands-on throughout the whole process. Everything was set up beautifully, and the events progressed seamlessly. Guests told me that this wedding was the most "on time" and organized wedding they have ever attended. The maitre-d helped make sure everything was going according to plan, and he even made sure we were looking at the right cameras during various events. Janet, the bridal attendant, was also incredibly helpful beyond words. When my husband's button popped off his tuxedo jacket, she sewed it back on within seconds. When lipstick got on my teeth, she appears with a q-tip and some floss. She was always around to help carry my train or give me a glass of water (with a straw!).There was a moment when I was walking with my full train, but by the time I reached the end of a hall, Janet had magically bustled the dress without me even noticing. From a guest-experience perspective, the Heritage Club also went above and beyond. Everyone raved about how full they were from cocktail hour, but then were still amazed by the quality of the seated dinner and passed desserts. The venue itself is also beautiful, with each space having its distinct characteristics. The ballroom in the daylight is breathtaking and airy.“

The food was terrific, and the Cocktails were to die for! 🤩🥳😍 Mushroom toast with/ Marscarpone was AMAZING, Steak AMAZING, Mussels-The broth was So good! Tuna Tartare- the Lemon Aioli I'm still dreaming about, Grilled Octopus- grilled to perfection, Street corn- tarragon flavor really came out. My Husband Loved the Chicken Tostadas. We had no room left - but I want to return for the Nom Nom Noodles and everything else!!“

I chose Steak Au Poivre from the Prix Fixe, husband and daughter had Chicken Cordon Bleu and Chicken Cacciatore. Everything was excellent and our server, Cathy, was fantastic.“
