“My Hero is an old school spot with old school charm, and it's a forever CLASSIC! I've been coming here for quite some time, it's basically a Long Island institution, but last night we stopped by since it's been a hot second, and the sandwiches were just as iconic as ever. We shared their famous chicken club with melted provolone (you will love that twist), and the breaded chicken cutlets, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and bacon make this club the cult favorite that it is. (I'm all about the bacon for the crunchy, textural, flavorful contrast.) We also shared their Italian sub, aka The Champ, which is filled with Italian meats along with 'the works.' You guys, if you do anything, savor the WORKS. Their blend of shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, oil, vinegar, and oregano is absolutely everything. (I like letting it sit for a bit so the bread gets soggy from all the oil and vinegar goodness, too.) Honestly, I could see having a BLT with 'the works' and being one happy camper, but I digress...LOL. If anyone is looking for an authentic, high quality deli, look no further than My Hero in Merrick. “Absolutely delicious. We had the BBQ ranch chicken and chicken tenders and they were pristine. My only issue was that the chicken tenders had a gritty consistency but it was great paired with the chipotle sauce. The portion sizes were immaculate though.“

“We visited Pio Pio at Glen Cove with a large group not too long ago.The whole group enjoyed the various dishes they selected. The space is open and had a bar towards the back. The establishment also offers valet parking.I wouldn't mind visiting more often if it wasn't so far north. All in all, I would visit again when close to the north shore.“

I'll buy again.I bought the bogo offer dumplings. It's sad but most korean fried chicken spots are not making their own dumplings but are now using bibigo's freezer section dumplings. That said, they're good dumplings but I eat these exact types at home already.“
“I got the medium spice and lemon pepper sliders. The Lemon pepper was seasoned really well and tasted amazing while the medium spice slider didn’t have any flavor whats so ever. You could only taste the slaw, sauce and pickles. I’d say if you want a kick get the hot. For the chicken it self, it’s juicy and tender. The fries are average even though they are seasoned. If I was around the area I would get it again. It ain’t no Dave’s chicken.7/10“
“This was maybe my second or third time ordering here. I’ve always passed the restaurant and thought nothing of it until someone wanted bubble tea and asked to go here. That was my first time stepping into Dango. I didn’t realize there was food. I have to say: hands down best customer service ever. The honey pineapple chicken was my favorite. I always add extra rice cake with it. Their rice dishes are great too. For the price, you do get a lot of food. I haven’t tried everything on the menu but from what I have tried, I can’t say anything bad about anything I’ve ordered. I’ll always go back for that honey pineapple chicken but do give their other dishes a try. Want a little mild or spicy? They got that too for their grandma chicken. They are my go-to for something close by.“

I go mostly on Sunday mornings, and I call my order in, and it's usually ready when I get there. Whoever is there is pretty friendly. I recently tried their dinner sides, and I enjoyed the collard greens, candied yams and Mac and cheese.“

“Great Indo-Chinese place with taste/spices for everyone. Will definitely come back. Came here on a Sunday afternoon and there was a quaint amount of seating with a nice interior. Service was speedy, liked that they kept a bottle of water and the table and yet were still attentive to water. They also gauged our spice tolerance (chose mild) and gave chili/spice on the side just in case to taste. Had several dishes to share: Appetizers: Califlower Manchurian, solid crispy on outside and of course tender but not mooshy as it can get Dishes: Hakka Noodles, a highlight! Great taste with the freshness/crisp veggies and firm but not too firm noodles. Lamb Vindaloo, delicious good amount of spice and lamb was at a good level of tenderness Goat Rogan Josh, similar to the above gindamoo really enjoyed the taste and meat texture. Shai Paneer, excellent with a good mixture of tang and spice with an enjoyable amount of creaminess Bread Basket, with regular, garlic, and onion. Onion was a favorite! Will definitely come back!“

“I am a vegetarian person who doesn't cook any meat nor boil eggs at home. I have a small puppy at home. I requested them to make me some boiled mince lamb with only tumeric for my puppy which they did give me even though they dont make it for pets. It was made w/o any spices,it was just plain boiled lamb with some tumeric.My puppy really enjoyed her meal. I really appreciate the helpful staff and the chef who went above n beyond to make my puppy happy. I always thought that they make only non vegetarian food but was surprised to see that they also make vegetarian food too. I am ordering Rajma chawal along with some chaats for me today. Ordered Big Papi from the signature steamed trays and added a pound of mussels and another half pound of the crab legs. The big Lu’s garlic butter is tasty.
