“My wife and I are pizza fanatics specifically Neapolitan style. A hybrid gas, wood fire grill that makes a near perfect pie. We split a Margherita and Mushroom pie.

The Cesar salad was great, a touch of lemon zest and crispy lettuce.

I highly recommend the burrata appetizer; our other dishes were great too but came from the specials menu so you may not be able to get them consistently. This time when we came up to visit for Christmas we knew we had to get there for a great dinner. I can easily say it still is one of the best places to get amazing Italian food around. The Chicken Napoli was phenomenal and there is nothing like their penne à la vodka! The drinks were great and service was top notch. We also happened to go the day after Christmas when we got lots of snow and the car valet even brushed off our car! We were so happy to not feel rushed because we were there with great friends and just really enjoying ourselves! We can’t wait to come back and visit from Georgia to have their food again!“

As many of my followers know, I don’t believe in one-and-done restaurant reviews. Real opinions come from returning multiple times to understand the consistency, quality, and service over time. That’s how a restaurant earns the label of being truly great.

Last night we returned to Piccolo and once again it delivered.

A warm greeting, a quick stop at the bar, running into friends for some laughs, and then a beautiful dinner with my wife in one of Huntington’s most charming dining rooms. Even with a lively crowd, the atmosphere somehow melts into the background and lets you focus on the moment and the person across the table.

Jeremy took great care of us while Jason stopped by to check in, something that always makes the experience feel personal.

We started with the wedge salad and a thoughtful complimentary tuna tartare that was bright, fresh, and beautifully balanced with avocado.

My wife chose the Orecchiette Caroline — perfectly balanced with hot & sweet sausage, broccoli rabe, tomatoes, garlic and oil.

I went with the weekly special Braised Boneless Beef Short Rib with horseradish cream, rich jus, crispy onions, vegetables and mashed potatoes — tender, flavorful and beautifully presented.

We finished with their house-made carrot cake and cappuccino, which remains one of my favorites.

Piccolo continues to deliver warm hospitality, exceptional food, and that perfect romantic neighborhood atmosphere that keeps us coming back.

The food was delicious- fresh, tasty and the portions were so large that everyone took a doggy bag home. It was served by a great staff including Angel who was our server.
