“Best Italian fine foods in Huntington and all of Long Island! I Absolutely love this place everything is always fresh! I haven’t visited in awhile as I stopped working in that area. I remembered the place and decided to take a ride for lunch and I’ve been returning weekly with family for lunch and dinners. This is an Old school spot for Everything Italian! I love the hero’s, the bread is like getting it from a bakery..the fried chicken cutlets are like butter very tender and they have a great marinara sauce! I Love the fried eggplant super thin and always crispy never soggy. I eat it by hand no bread. Check out their hot meals, all freshly made daily..shrimp, chicken cacciatore, pork chops, sausage n peppers and so many more. Soooo delicious, tastes homemade. They also have fresh mozzarella, rice balls, potato croquettes, meats, steaks, sausages, fresh & dry pasta, ravioli, cookies, canned goods and my favorite chips “Charles potato chips” I haven’t seen them in years and they carry big bags. Another favorite they sell is ice cold Manhattan Special soda in the glass bottle an Italian American espresso soda, a Brooklyn favorite and hard to find in stores on Long Island! The family that owns Caruso’s and work here are warm and friendly they deserve all of our business. Check them out and thank me later!

“We came here for weekday lunch. Our server Emily was amazing! She was exceptionally personable and communicated with us about delays in the kitchen since the restaurant was serving a large party. She continued to check up on us and was very sweet. Eggplant rollatini and cheesy garlic bread were delicious appetizers. For entrees, we had the penne alla vodka (portion was a bit smaller than expected) as well as the chicken marsala, chicken parm, and arugula pie, which were all good. This place is a bit pricy but it is an upper/mid range Italian restaurant. The actual dining area is cozy and intimate. They have a cute bar area upon walking in. Parking lot is a bit cramped but doable. We had a great time!“

“We've passed George White Restaurant so many times and finally stopped there to dine. What a great surprise. We both loved the decor; it reminded us of Saratoga NY. We were warmly greeted, and the service was outstanding. The cocktail was spot on, and the mussels were great with the warm bread. We devoured our Filet of Sole Francese and Rigatoni Bolognese. Very fairly priced as well, yes, we will return.“

A & S is a Huntington staple. The meats are fresh try their chicken burgers the spinach ones are pretty thick and amazing so delicious also the hot foods that are made to take home are great quality. They carry a lot of specialties I cannot find anywhere else. Also they carry Manhattan special reg & diet soda it’s Italian espresso soda..if you haven’t tried one.. Please do, it’s a borough thing! “Delicious food with super friendly service. I've been a few times over the past years, but my friends come all the time. Meatballs are super yummy, the chopped salad was really good- even my son ate it and he doesn't like many salads, the penne with veggies is light and super good, mozzarella sticks were flavourful as was the accompanying sauce. I also enjoyed the white sangria and cranberry juice.

Vegetarian options: I can't speak on all veggie options, but there was this penne dish that had lots of vegetables, broccoli, spinach, sliced garlic. It was light and oh so good! Also, the chopped salad was pretty good. That pasta though, AMAZING!“
