“We moved off Long Island over 8 years ago and always loved la Parma when we lived here even though it was an hour drive for us to enjoy the amazing food. This time when we came up to visit for Christmas we knew we had to get there for a great dinner. I can easily say it still is one of the best places to get amazing Italian food around. The Chicken Napoli was phenomenal and there is nothing like their penne à la vodka! The drinks were great and service was top notch. We also happened to go the day after Christmas when we got lots of snow and the car valet even brushed off our car! We were so happy to not feel rushed because we were there with great friends and just really enjoying ourselves! We can’t wait to come back and visit from Georgia to have their food again!“

“We lucked upon this lovely place when staying in a nearby hotel due to a canceled flight. I highly recommend the burrata appetizer; our other dishes were great too but came from the specials menu so you may not be able to get them consistently. Soft shell crabs, veal osso buco... but I think anything you get there will be fresh and of the highest quality. Good wine list too. If we ever find ourselves in the neighborhood again we will make a point of returning to Franina.“

Food is always outstanding, timing is impeccable and one never feels rushed. Tight quarters, but it all runs like a well oiled machine. Varied menu, lots of specials- I recommend the soft shell crab francese.“

Portions are quite large, so it's good for sharing. We got the vodka rigatoni, mushroom ravioli with garlic sauce, and the bucatini with puccanesca, along with a side of the chicken parm. This was more than enough for three people, but all were delicious! The interior is nicely decorated as well and it is very spacious. Great service as well, the woman who served us was so friendly. Will be back for sure.“
