“When I moved to New York, I lived upstairs to an Italian Deli. After moving to Greenwich, I have been looking for a deli that would match it. A friend recommended Firehouse...and THIS IS IT! We have been ordering now for several months. You can taste the pride. Prices are more than fair and the portions (especially the wedges) are outstanding. This is the real deal. Love their meatball Parm wedge, the Mr. G's wedge...hell, everything I've tried has been good. My wife loves their fish sandwich, too, so it's a winner all around...it's all great.“

It is a takeout place so don't expect the ambiance of a restaurant. However, the owner is super friendly.

“Excellent salad bar and cold food section. Vast selection of beverages, chips and snacks. Hot and cold roll or hero sandwiches made to order, as well as hot food dishes. Staff isn't very friendly, but they are efficient. The deli is next to a medical office building, so parking is tough.

Vegetarian options: Veggie Patty loaded up with veggies!! It was on weight watchers for a recommended sandwich (6in, lite mayo) - that's why years ago I tried it...I love it!!!

But I was presently surprised this is actually a very nice Subway the guy working at the counter was very friendly and they had everything we wanted. The food is good the service is good only thing I can complain about is it doesn't have a restroom but honestly with that small of a space I wouldn't expect it to have a restroom“

“Wow, if you want some late night Halal that is super fresh, this is it! Don't be confused by the restaurant name and the food I got. This place sells sandwiches as well as Halal, it's a dual spot called Blimpie & The Gyro King. I got chicken over rice on three different occasions, and each time, it was so fresh (cilantro makes it bomb), service was super friendly, and it was prepared so quickly. When I'm up there again, I'll be back!“

I’ve been going here for 13 years and I do admit the quality has dropped a tiny bit but I think that’s due to the surge in online ordering post Covid combined with them being short staffed. The bagels are still the best outside of NYC/Long Island and the breakfast sandwiches are delicious.“

I don’t know about food quality.
But two guys who work there always nice with me. Orders always ready for pick up, drinks always fixed in the cart box.
Pick up counter always clean.
Sometimes I’m using a restroom (I’m sorry): it’s always clean.
I think, guys taking care of the place.
Maybe sometimes they are looking tired.
But they are hard workers.

“I love this spot because not only because the food is accurate every time (and yummy) but because of the workers there. They are so nice!!! I would have given 5 stars but they do not open at 830am like this says(or their door) they always seem to open by 10am. No complaints just would like that to be updated if its not accurate. Please update the sign, its clearly causing people to get mad in your reviews and is affecting your rating.

“This subway is the best subway I have ever been to in New York. You got to come to this one. Its clean and the manager Micheal is the best. He makes your sandwiches just like you asked him to or want it to be. Fresh food and no complaining from them if you ask to add more to your sandwiches like the other subways do that are stingy. “This is maybe the only subway I've ever gone to that regularly seems overstaffed, not horribly understaffed. This place will get busy but they work hard to keep it moving. Always ready with pickup orders and have a good track record for accuracy. This is a solid franchise location.“

“This place is an awesome and convenience spot and that has great hours. I believe they are 6 or 7:00 a.m. until midnight which is rare these days. And being that my boat is in a marina right down the block it is a truly wonderful place to have. The store is extremely clean. The food is fresh. The beverage selections are great and they even carry ice. What more can you ask for“
