“I came here on a wednesday night with my wife after a day of travelling and our waitress Nia was very helpful. My wife had some questions about the menu and Nia was very knowledgeable. We don't eat out often and Nia helped us understand the promotions on the menu. The drinks were strong and did not taste watered down. Overall I am very happy with this experience. This was a very filling and cost effective date.“

“Update: Unfortunately I have to deduct a star because I ordered the cilantro marinated chicken breast with angel hair and the chicken was hard and dry and the pasta was mushy and completely bland and unseasoned.

My first time ordering from here and the food was really good. I ordered a breakfast sandwich that was so good that I ordered dinner from there that same night. Both arrived hot and fresh. The only thing is that I thought the chicken sandwich came with salad (as pictured) but it came with fries. Either way everything was really good. They also have one of the best chai lattes I’ve tried in the city.“

“Wanted to give a shout out to the restaurant, Freddy’s, in Pleasantville. Went with a couple of girlfriends a few weeks ago and then again with my hubby last week. Both meals were delicious. The appetizers are yummy! Most of all, though, I wanted to remark on the atmosphere. The people in charge are just delightful. Had a chance to meet the owner. He told me he named the restaurant after his grandfather ( forgive, it might have been his father). Either way I thought it was nice. He has a young family and loves what he does. They have been open for two years, but I just found them now. If you haven’t checked them out, you should soon!“

“I've only eaten there once, but I can see myself visiting again. Service was very good, and friendly. The "Alvin" Grilled Chicken Sandwich was tasty, though the Chicken was a bit chewy. The French Fries were very good. The menu looks very ambitious, and I look forward to trying their other offerings. The bathrooms are tiny, but clean! It's a safe bet that you'll get an enjoyable meal at Strawberry Place.“

“We dined at the Applebees of Hawthorne, the service was excellent and the food even better. The bathroom was a little dirty but what place doesn’t during dinner time. I’d like to shout out our server Yadira she was excellent and Very attentive.“

“I really liked the food that I got here. When we went, the hotpot stuff was not available so the owner just told us to order off the menu. He reco'ed the gamjatang and it was really good. The meat was so soft and it slid right off. I particularly liked the veggies in there. I also got the bibim guksu (spicy cold noodles). I told the owner I wanted naemyeon so he recommended the bibim guksu. It was really flavourful. Also - who can say no to unlimited kimchi! Highly reco this place. “At the time of writing this review, I am completing my graduate program for mental health counseling with Pace University. In the beginning of my program, I had been searching for jobs to keep a form of income while I was also busy with classes. Lee and Joe were incredibly accommodating when hiring me and understood my school situation. They helped work my schedule around my classes so that I could have a steady form of income. When I had to begin my internship, they helped me work my schedule around that as well. Not only is the work environment very friendly, the food is wonderful as well. The freshly made bagels and muffins were always incredible. Now that I'm done with my program and moving out from the area, I certainly am going to miss my usual lunches here.

“Fantastic! Just how a quiet town Cafe should be. Quick and friendly service. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese, everything bagel. I could tell just by how they wrapped it, it was perfect. Unwrap the paper and there it is. Perfectly stacked with perfectly cooked everything! Melt cheese, tender eggs, crisp bacon, and a pillowly soft bagel with just the right amount of chew. Great selection and range overall on the menu. Would highly recommend and will be coming back!“

Wheelchair accessibility: There are 3 doors just to enter. It is extremely difficult to get someone in a wheelchair into the restaurant as you need multiple people just to open and keep open the multiple doors.“
