“Love this place. I’m only a few minutes away from them, and they have never been disappointed. The lady that takes the orders is super sweet. She always calls me sweetheart lol as someone who was not raised with much affection, that always makes me smile lol. good food and good people. You can never go wrong with that. “Bardonia Oriental is consistently our favorite go-to place for Chinese food. The chicken is most often quite delicious and tender, regardless of the dish that it's placed with. I'm most often preferred chicken with broccoli however I had chicken with Chinese vegetables last night and found it to be absolutely scrumptious! The beef with snow peas is delicious as well. One of our dear friends is Chinese and she refuses to eat Chinese food anywhere but there if that's any indication of the quality of their food. The egg rolls can be hit or miss at times having so much grease they're impossible to consume and other times being so delicious I would eat multiples if I had them! There thick Chinese noodles are rarely greasy and always delicious especially with duck sauce. We prefer the mustard that comes in a container to the hot sauce in a package. I would not recommend requesting sauce on the side as I have done a times because somehow the chicken and broccoli become overdone. Overall, as I've said there isn't any other Chinese restaurant in Rockland County that has earned my respect and is much repeat business as Bardonia Oriental. I forgot to mention how much we enjoyed the crab with cream cheese appetizer! They are very good at following specific orders so if you like your vegetables al dente to preserve the nutrients and simply let them know how long you would like to cook it the vegetables. Otherwise the broccoli tends to be somewhat soggy. With a little bit of accommodation and finagling and won't improved consistency for the egg rolls, I would delightfully add the extra star all the way! If you would like your vegetables to preserve maximum nutritional value, I would recommend requesting them to be a little hard. And definitely not mushy.“

“I visted Tasty House on 9/30/23. I purchased a sesame chicken with brown rice combination plate as well as a pint of broccoli in garlic sauce! I also had chicken wings, which were plump and juicy. The food was delicious and their staff is always friendly, no matter how busy they might be.“

“Fast easy cheap meal, can’t go wrong with Chinese takeout. Parking is a little tough without a lot. But location is good. There was not a problem ordering the food.The brown sauce was a little light on the flavor. The pepper steak was good, guess when they add the oyster sauce into the brown sauce made it better. The Singapore noodle was very tasty. But the pork fried rice was off. Overall a nice quick meal, $66 for 4 ppl, not bad.“

“I stopped here to get something quick for dinner. I walked in and was greeted by the woman behind the counter. I took a few minutes to decide on what to order. I placed my order and paid for it. She said it would be about ten minutes but I don't even think it took that long. Shortly after sitting down she told me my order was ready and I was on my way. “Always drove by it and saw advertising in our local Clipper but never jumped in until a few days ago. Three Asians cuisine, Chinese, Japanese and Thai. Had dinner with my family, my daughter ordered shrimp fried rice, my wife had Mei fun noodles while I ordered the yellow curry tofu. We all also shared sushi rolls, sashimi and hand rolled sushi. My curry dish was amazing just as good as if I had it at a Thai only restaurant. My daughter said the best fried rice she’s had and the same with my wife’s noodle dish. Plenty of different dishes to choose from specially if your family can agree on a cuisine. Went there on a date with a lovely friend expecting the usual Kosher Chinese fare that I have had from LA to Pittsburgh to my hometown here on Long Island, NY. However this restaurant astounded me, it was different!!!The food was fabulous!!! We both had the 'Hot and Sour' soup, and it was impressive! The temp, was just right, not luke-warm as I have come to expect in many restaurants, and, not scaldingly hot, but just right! The spices were hot as they should be, but not too hot. As I said, I was amazed!!!Then for the mains, we had, Spicy Chicken and Curry Chicken. Again the spices were quite hot, but not too, at least for me. They were just wonderful, tasty, yet with a subtle delight. It is hard to express. And we both commented how the presentation of the food on the plates was 'picture perfect.'I would suggest you go and write your own experience! I live 30 miles on the other side of the NYC metro area where traveling can be a challenge all on its own, but for this restaurant in the Bronx, NYC, NY, Kai Fan, I will be returning!!!ps I only wish they were closer to me here on Long Island!!pss I was served by one of the owners, and an owner was on duty at the cash register!
