“I don't normally bother with reviewing places but I think this place deserves one! I can't speak on the fridge dinner-prepped foods cause that's not really my thing, but the sandwiches and rice balls here are fantastic, definitely some of the best I've had in NY when it comes to quality. The place is pricey, which also is not usually my thing, but it's clear to me why the prices are higher than other places (besides the area), and reason being is the quality of ingredients and care put into the food. The recipes for everything are exactly as they should be, every flavor is dialed in very carefully and clearly this place is run by someone who knows Italian food like the back of their hand and has a genuine love for it. Their coffee and tiramisu is great too! They've won me over, and I am not impressed by much these days. Last but not least, the staff there are absolutely lovely. Every time I go in there are guys preparing it all with what seems to be a lot of detail and attention, and the lady who's always working the register when I'm there is doing a great job and is sweet.“

“I happened upon this place on what must have been their busiest night of the year: a Halloween kids' block party on Warburton. They were....beyond slammed. Kids and parents packed to the gills. I had ordered online, but obviously, there was NO way my order would be ready on time. The staff? Amazing. Yes, we waited, but they were so kind and apologetic about the reality of the situation. Oh yeah: the pizza is DAMN good, too. :) Highly recommend giving your time and money to this lovely village spot because they care just as much about their customers as they do their pizza.“

“I’ve loved Slices for years now. Typically go with the chicken parm sub - always enough for two meals! Tonight I tried the new PINWHEELS - I think this is a new invention of Isaac’s. Basically it’s a pizza dough roll with cheese and a pizza topping - I had one spinach pinwheel and one pepperoni. And each pinwheel comes with a generous side car of tomato sauce. The bottom of the pinwheel is really crispy - somewhat akin to a deep dish pizza. Hard to describe! Highly recommend. Chef’s kiss!“

“Absolutely loved our experience here tonight! I am unsure of the hostesses name but she was a doll and clearly had everything running so smoothly. As walk-ins we were even able to pick where we wanted to sit. Juan was our waiter who was such a gem, so attentive but also did not rush us at all. We got the baked clams, veal Marsala and the gnocchi special which were excellent. The manager also came over to say hello which felt very personable. We can’t wait to come back!“

“Place is a hidden treasure. Food is outstanding! The waiters were very welcoming, funny and very attentive without rushing us before we could ask for anything they were right there. The owner is super sweet with a beautiful personality. He makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. The food was phenomenal every dish was seasoned perfectly and portions were plentiful. The prices very reasonable for the service and food quality they provide. This is so far our favorite Italian cuisine restaurant I'm so glad we live close by we will be back. “Go for the reviews - leave shaking your head saying “those reviews were on-point”. The only annoying part, and not worth deducting even 1/4 of a star, is the pushy “ we need your entire order right away because everything is made to order” jargon. They do it to speed you along as you can’t get your apps until you order your main meal. But even with that and not having a reserved table ready on time - this place is 100% worthy of ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!“

“I took my family to la riserva last week. We had an amazing dinner. My girls loved the pasta fagioli!!! They also enjoyed their meals; pasta with marinara and the chicken parmigiana with green beans. My husband and I equally enjoyed our meals. The service was great. “Wife and I flew into JFK late one Friday. We were famished , it was 1030 by the time we got to Arthur Ave.. We parked and walked , came upon people eating alfresco. We asked if any place was still serving. The "MAN" Vic asked what we would like, from one of the tables. “Outstanding food at this cozy, rustic restaurant in Mamaroneck! Wide choices in every category. Everything is impeccably fresh, and beautifully presented by chef-owner Andrea!“

“Incredible. The warmly furnished dining room of Osteria Sardenga was immediately welcoming, and the service only enhanced that feeling, never rushing or interrupting the dinner. But more than the service or atmosphere, the food was the true star, and the meal I had tonight was one of the best I have had in months.
For appetizers I tried the meatballs(juicy and flavorful with a pecorino accented tomato sauce), the Sardinian flatbread(crisp and cracker like covered with cheese and peppery herbs), and the Artichokes which were the best thing I ate that night. Tender and sweet poached insides, contrasted with a crisp and nutty fried outside, and drenched in a lemony sauce; If you order nothing else, order the artichokes.
For my main I had a pasta dish called Malloreddus, which I later learned refered to the small shell like pasta shape and not the rich beef ragu that coated it. And the pasta was the star of the dish, each pleasantly chewy shell scooping up generous amounts of meaty ragu.
As for desserts, I was able to try the chocolate cake(decadent), the tartufo(baseball sized with a generous snappy chocolate shell that melted in the mouth), the pistachio cheesecake(a unique and delicious version that had three layers, one of cake, one that was creamy and white, and a pistachio layer with little crumbles of pistachio in it), and the tiramisu which was maybe the best rendition of tiramisu I had ever tasted. And I'm sure, as the owner said when he slipped the dessert menu in front of us, that there were no bad desserts on the menu. In fact, at this point I would be surprised if a single dish on the menu, or on the extensive specials menu, wasn't good. I will definitely be coming back.

Some small critiques at the end, although my mom won't stop talking about how good the meatballs were, having only two felt a little sad. And my pasta dish was a touch too salty. I wouldn't want this to scare anyone away from ordering either dish though, as both were still excellent.
Also there's a small parking lot in the back.“

“On December 12th my law office had their holiday luncheon at this wonderful restaurant. I also ordered a tray of meat lasagna for Christmas. If you have never had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant, I suggest you run - do not pass go - and get your butt there and eat the most delicous food on this planet. The chef created the meat lasagna - a simple dish - and elevated to something that just melts in your mouth with deliciousness. LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant!!“

“Everything in this place is fabulous. Service with a smile. We have a hard time pulling ourselves away from the pan-seared steak which comes with greens, with the salads and the creamy polenta. The bread pudding is a stand out. The only issue is that everyone knows this place and cram themselves in. Lack of elbow room totally worth it!“

“This location i have come to a few times. It has progressively become better and better.
The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and quite, while there is a great social bar, with very nice accomodationimg staff and the downtown has become much better than it use to be that this hotel is right within.

Only downside I've experienced is the up charge fee for late checkout. Normally around the world a late checkout there is not a secondary charge of you request up till 1-2pm. Unfortunately this hotel is going with the US trend of charging consumers for needing a later checkout even if you checking at 11pm bc of late travel etc.. Only down on have to say, but hotel it top notch“

“I order pretty frequently from Dom’s in Nanuet since I work nearby. Yesterday, when we got our order to Sloatsburg, there was an omission in the order ( we really should have checked before we left). As always, Dom’s went above and beyond to make this right. They drove my order to Sloatsburg and included several delicious extras! Their catering always makes our events delicious, but yesterday they made it extra delicious. Dom’s has amazing food and even better service.“
