“The food here is excellent. Started with the artichokes and burrata, super fresh, super flavorful. Perfect sized dishes to start. We then had the mussels special and eggplant dish. Both fabulous. For mains we had the sea bass and lamb parpadelle, incredible! Braised for 9 hours, it was delectable. The service is wonderful, everyone is so kind. The restaurant is beautiful inside, perfect dining experience. Can’t wait to go back and try new menu items.“

“Phenomenal from start to finish!! We were lucky to have the place to ourselves for an early dinner. Dani, co-owner & chef, greeted us with a warm welcome. You could tell right away she had a genuine interest in making our experience special. We started out with a creamy, simple burrata that came with homemade focaccia. The bread was SO perfect. We each had salmon with Israeli couscous and broccolini. The salmon was cooked to perfection and paired nicely with the wine suggested by Dani. Then dessert…it was so difficult to pick just one!!! So we got three! Ana, the other owner, is the evil genius behind the to die for desserts!! Tiramisu, mascarpone cheesecake (we took it to go) and an apple cider donut with vanilla ice cream. (The donut was so absolutely divine that my boyfriend ordered a second serving!!) And can I just say the cappuccinos were on point! My mouth is watering just thinking about it all again! I hope others visit and enjoy the fabulous food, service and atmosphere at Mambo. We don’t live around the corner, but will definitely make the drive back because the whole experience was just that good. I wish Dani and Ana much success. We ordered from the special prix fixe menu that had so many great choices, it was hard to choose.
We settled on the scallops over polenta and the spring rolls with teryaki to start, and the panko horseradish flounder and grilled shrimp salad. Desert was the poached pear with raspberry sorbet.
Everything was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The wait staff is friendly and extremely efficient, and just make dining there such a terrific experience!“

He created a fantastic menu and was able to accommodate all dietary restrictions while keeping the meal, smooth, consistent, and absolutely delicious. “My good friend and myself stumbled into Dolce Vita not too long ago when it was the only restaurant in Nyack that was opened very late. We struck gold. We have been back several times and the food, the service, the owner, the atmosphere are the very best . All are wonderful.“

“Everything was great. Food, Service etc. Even the macchiato (no, not the chain coffee shops type, but a real one) was very good. Calamari appetizer was some of the best I've had. I had chicken [don't remember the name :) ] and it was very good. What was a surprise, is that when dishes come with a 'side' of pasta, restaurants use a bland 'marina' sauce. I never care for any of them... .but Pas-Tina's was very good and I enjoyed it. Desserts were also very good. I only had one disappointment, i.e. I am a gin drinker and hoped for a little better gin i.e. Hendricks. However, they do have Bombay Sapphire and Tanqueray so I really didn't suffer :)“
