“We usually dine at the NYC location, but decided to dine here for Thanksgiving. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Service was outstanding . Very accommodating to our dining habits and needs. We never felt rushed and thoroughly enjoyed dining there. That means so much. The Thanksgiving menu had many delicious choices and the portions were perfect. We will return when in the area.“

“Phenomenal from start to finish!! We were lucky to have the place to ourselves for an early dinner. Dani, co-owner & chef, greeted us with a warm welcome. You could tell right away she had a genuine interest in making our experience special. We started out with a creamy, simple burrata that came with homemade focaccia. The bread was SO perfect. We each had salmon with Israeli couscous and broccolini. The salmon was cooked to perfection and paired nicely with the wine suggested by Dani. Then dessert…it was so difficult to pick just one!!! So we got three! Ana, the other owner, is the evil genius behind the to die for desserts!! Tiramisu, mascarpone cheesecake (we took it to go) and an apple cider donut with vanilla ice cream. (The donut was so absolutely divine that my boyfriend ordered a second serving!!) And can I just say the cappuccinos were on point! My mouth is watering just thinking about it all again! I hope others visit and enjoy the fabulous food, service and atmosphere at Mambo. We don’t live around the corner, but will definitely make the drive back because the whole experience was just that good. I wish Dani and Ana much success. You can tell it is a true labor of love for them. Cin-cin ladies!“

Every dish at this tasting was perfect and represented the menu perfectly. The artichoke was pure bliss, hand made parpadelle magic, branding delicious and so much more! Ask for extra bread to soak it up.\n\nAlso enjoyed the GIANT homemade lobster lasagna, although the pancetta dominated the flavors to the point it was not obvious there was lobster in there.\n\nGood, attentive service. Relatively easy parking nearby. Would definitely go back.“

“My experience at Allegria Ristorante involved attentive, courteous and friendly waitstaff, a clean and well designed environment, and food that was superb. My friend and I both had the minestrone soup and the fennel salad with shrimp, expertly prepared and perfectly seasoned. Capping off our experience, our reservation was intentionally set for 6:30 PM - in August 2024, Saturday dnnertime entertainment is jazz standards in chord melody form expertly played by Raphael Silverman on a gorgeous Gibson Johnny Smith archtop guitar through a Henrikson Bud Six amp. Nice clean tone comes through very well in this setting .“

“This location i have come to a few times. It has progressively become better and better.
The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and quite, while there is a great social bar, with very nice accomodationimg staff and the downtown has become much better than it use to be that this hotel is right within.

Only downside I've experienced is the up charge fee for late checkout. Normally around the world a late checkout there is not a secondary charge of you request up till 1-2pm. Unfortunately this hotel is going with the US trend of charging consumers for needing a later checkout even if you checking at 11pm bc of late travel etc.. Only down on have to say, but hotel it top notch“

“I don't normally bother with reviewing places but I think this place deserves one! I can't speak on the fridge dinner-prepped foods cause that's not really my thing, but the sandwiches and rice balls here are fantastic, definitely some of the best I've had in NY when it comes to quality. The place is pricey, which also is not usually my thing, but it's clear to me why the prices are higher than other places (besides the area), and reason being is the quality of ingredients and care put into the food. The recipes for everything are exactly as they should be, every flavor is dialed in very carefully and clearly this place is run by someone who knows Italian food like the back of their hand and has a genuine love for it. Their coffee and tiramisu is great too! They've won me over, and I am not impressed by much these days. Last but not least, the staff there are absolutely lovely. Every time I go in there are guys preparing it all with what seems to be a lot of detail and attention, and the lady who's always working the register when I'm there is doing a great job and is sweet.“

I had ordered online, but obviously, there was NO way my order would be ready on time. The staff? Amazing. Yes, we waited, but they were so kind and apologetic about the reality of the situation. “My wife and I travelled from Toronto Canada to Port Chester NY to attend a concert at the Capitol Theatre on a Friday night in October 2025. We parked in the lot beside the restaurant (which was very convenient) and were greeted by a very friendly host, who seated us right away – accommodating my wife in her wheelchair with ease.\n\nThe restaurant was lively, filled with families enjoying themselves – such a wonderful atmosphere. We told our server, Joey, that after dinner we were heading to a concert around the corner. Joey was so kind and assured us we would make it on time – and he was absolutely right! He and the kitchen staff were incredibly efficient.\n\nDinner was absolutely amazing – a true 10/10 - and Joey's service was top-notch. The matriarch and patriarch visited our and other tables to check that everything was perfect (and it was!). They and the entire team made us feel welcome and like part of the family.\n\nWe rarely take leftovers when travelling, but our meal was so good that we did this time – and it was just as delicious when we warmed it up for lunch the next day at our hotel.\n\nWe highly recommend T&J Pizza and Pasta (T&J Restaurant & Pizzeria) to everyone!“
