“I ate several meals here over a 4 night stay. Breakfast is delicious and the burrito is out of this world. Dinners are great and I especially loved the seafood pasta. Nice casados as well. Had lunch everyday here and I always got the ceviche. Excellent! Guillermo is an amazing host and a great guy. Lara, his daughter was a great hostess as well. Loved this place and it made me feel at home.“

“Love Dominican food. Happy to have one nearby.
Ordered combo three and it came with ALOT of food. The pernil (roast pork) was great, the bistec was just ok. Good flavor but a little tough. Yellow rice and red beans were excellent. The platanos had good flavor but I like them a little wetter and softer. Oxtail was very good.
Empanadas were also solid. I’ve had better but these weren’t bad.
Not the best Dominican food I’ve ever had but this definitely satisfies a craving and nothing like it in the area.
The service is excellent. Couldn’t be nicer.“

“I recently dined at El rincon Latino restaurant, a charming Dominican food restaurant, and it was an unforgettable culinary experience. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with vibrant decor that reflects the rich culture of the Dominican Republic.
The menu offers a wide variety of traditional dishes, and everything I tried was exceptional. I started with the **mofongo**, a delightful blend of mashed plantains with garlic, pork cracklings, and a savory broth. It was perfectly seasoned and had a wonderful texture.
The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable, making it great value for the quality of food. The staff was friendly and attentive, providing excellent service and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
I highly recommend El rincon latino restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Dominican cuisine. Whether you're a fan of bold flavors or simply curious to try something new, this restaurant won't disappoint.“

“The Absolute Best Dominican Restaurant in Nassau County! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Lucas Dominican Restaurant is hands down the most delicious and flavorful spot in Nassau County! Every single bite is an explosion of authentic Dominican goodness, from their perfectly seasoned pernil to the mouthwatering mofongo that melts in your mouth. Their portions are generous, their service is warm and welcoming, and the food is always fresh and made with love.
I often order for my team at Luxurious Beauty Studios, and they absolutely love it. The quality and consistency are unmatched! Whether I’m bringing my family for a sit-down meal or grabbing takeout for the spa, Lucas never disappoints. The arroz con habichuelas, tender pollo guisado, and tostones are simply perfection.
If you’re looking for real Dominican flavors, home-cooked quality, and a restaurant that treats you like family, Lucas Dominican Restaurant is THE place to go! Five stars are not enough—I’d give them ten if I could! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“The staff was super friendly but more importantly the food was out of this world! The chef is a certified artiste because the pernil is a work of art. I had the pernil with aroz con gandules…. This dish put my grandmothers food to shame. I can’t wait to come back again… they even have a smoothie/juice bar. 5/5 stars!!
Kid-friendliness: Staff is super friendly and greeted everyone that walked in and thanked everyone that walked out.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible“
“The place was nice, the service was good, and it would have been nice to see the menu with the prices. Our order changed from $28 to $42 dollars and we were not too happy about that. It's okay. We may come back and we need to save money for that. The place felt more like a bar.“

“Delicious food and friendly vibe. I love the stewed chicken and my husband loves the pernil but I've also had the mofongo and other dishes and thought everything was great. There is a takeout line which snakes through the restaurant and that line is never empty. The wait staff can sometimes be super busy because they are covering a lot of tables but they are never impatient or brusque. We love that they serve the Country Club brand of sodas which we get as a guilty pleasure.“

“I go to this restaurant whenever I come to Farrock to get my hair cut usually. Since I've been coming I've stuck to the shrimp mofongo which I can say is extremely good. This past Sunday I decided to switch it up and try the red snapper and boy was I impressed! They have some of the best Spanish food I've ever tasted.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at this establishment and the experience was a mixed bag. The food was absolutely exceptional, each dish bursting with flavor and well prepared. The service was top-notch as well - attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. I ordered a Cosmo and my friend ordered the old fashioned. The bartender did an excellent job and both drinks were delicious!
However, the ambiance left something to be desired. The decor felt a bit outdated and could use some modernization to match the quality of the cuisine and service. With a revamp in the ambiance department, this place could easily become a five-star dining destination. Overall, a great spot for a delicious meal with fantastic service, but with room for improvement in the atmosphere.“

“I ordered a chicken soup from the restaurant with Uber Eats. The soup was absolutely delicious....BUT, there were about 7 noodles, 2 pieces of carrot one piece of chicken on a bone and that was it. It was very tasty but so skimpy. For $6, I expect some substance in my soup.“

“Ordered takeout that was delivered. Great portion sizes, and with 6 orders, it felt like a pallet full of food! Ordered the roast pork, rotisserie chicken, and western omelets. They got the order wrong, and I just received fried omelets instead. Other than that, the food arrived pretty hot, and their roast pork and rotisserie chicken were tender and flavorful. You can split one order for two people with the amount of rice that came with each order.“

“I had rotisserie chicken, pernil, empanadas (beef, cheeseburger, pepperoni pizza, chicken fajita), mac n cheese, white rice, yellow rice, beans and I chose green sauce. Their chicken fajita empanadas are stupid delicious. The homemade green sauce I can drink. The pernil is great on its own but eaten WITH the mac n cheese?! Pfft. Must have. Everything was great. Will definitely make a point to go back a few times before I move. Best Dominican food I've had yet.“

“As it was my first time at El Sabor, I wasn’t sure what to order. The staff was SO kind and SO helpful with making food suggestions. I ordered 2 entrees and some empanadas. The entrees weren’t fantastic…very overloaded with rice but the empanadas were amazing!“

“Ordered for delivery, cooked well but nothing special. Order the Pernil Especiales, portion was very generous but nothing crispy bit or parts. Macaroni salad was alright and fries can't be messed up. With such a high rating I was deeply disappointed.“
