“We went to Vigneto several times and really enjoyed their professionalism. The staff/owners greet you at the door, take the time to talk to you respectfully, and ask regularly if you are satisfied with the food. We highly recommend Vigneto.“
“The artistry and taste of the food, as well as the attention of the staff were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our very special experience. The atmosphere and ambiance were delightful. Our server Zack, our chef, and the water and bread staff, were very attentive. Zack's warm and welcoming personality led us to ask questions which were graciously answered. Your attractive and creative artistic selections were especially appreciated by non-meat eaters. Thank you for a most enjoyable luncheon experience in an elegant setting enhanced by impeccable service!“
“Great venue overlooking Wappinger Falls. They have outdoor tables as well as 2 indoor floors of seating. Wine beer, hard cider, and several small plte options are availableThe staff are friendly and ensure you are enjoying your stay while live music preformed by various local artists play.“
“What an amazing place. Selected it as a venue for a gathering of friends as an upstate/downstate geo midpoint. Food was unbelievably amazing (ordered off appetizer menu, late night menu, but the whole menu looked great), hosts Russ & Helga were warm welcoming and friendly, live music from Ethan Levy was perfect, every server and bartender were top notch. We will definitely be back. This is a rare Hudson Valley jewel that I am so glad we found.“
“Vanessa has all the talent from making fresh cocktails, charcuterie, She will go above and beyond for any request.Atmosphere is perfect for any occasion! Vanessa is also extremely friendly and hospitable. This was our second entertainment at champagne coupe, and we will Continue to recommend her and her lovely establishment.“
“Love this little bar. There's even a small balcony with a view to the Gunks, and a little raised bed of herbs that the bartender uses for drinks... so fresh lavender in your cocktail...be still my senses, only one at a time please! Service is always lovely and welcoming. If you like Bourbon, a cocktail called the "Bees Knees" is the way to go.“
“The Wagon Wheel restaurant has been in downtown Wappingers Falls for a very long time. This landmark is a classic no frills restaurant that gets straight to the point. The owner Pete makes really good pizza. Simple, not gourmet pizza, the way they used to make it and still do 40 years later. The crust is crispy, not soggy like the other place that's across the street. His pizza sauce has just the right amount of herbs, sweetness and tang. He is not shy with the toppings either. The prices for his pizza are extremely affordable so you'll get more than your monies worth. The Wagon Wheel also makes delicious pastas that you'll need a box to take the rest home. Generous portions from an owner with a generous heart to serve the best pizza and pasta to his loyal and new customers.Pete's mission is to give his customers the best quality food for the best price. Stop in and try the best pizza anywhere. You'll be glad you did. When I'm back in Wappingers Falls I'll be headed to Wagon Wheel pizza for a walk down memory lane.Until next time.“
“Met another couple there who travel probably about 40 miles to this place when they can! I had the gorgonzola shrimp which was light and amazing (be sure to get extra bread for the sauce!) And for main course Veal Parmesan which was so tender and amazing! The canoli to finish it off was fresh and crispy shell! Definitely going back!?“
“We have had an early (4:30pm) dinner this past weekend. We have been there several times before but over 15 years ago. No specific reason for the lapse. just never got back. Our past experience was: Food and service 5 stars, Atmosphere: upscale (dressy), Prices: reasonable for the quality and portions. The steak Au Poivre was the best I have ever had. New experience: The atmosphere, is more casual -(almost "rustic"), The host wearing a flannel shirt, and the waitress wearing a down vest. After other guests arrived, I thought it was a bit noisy but then realized there wasn't a person dining under 80 (guessing hearing problems, LOL), I'm 65 and felt like a kid, LOL. No worries, it didn't affect my food! LOL!. Food and service: The calamari was skimpy but cooked perfectly. The French onion soup was VERY VERY good!! The Steak Au Poivre... is STILL the best I have ever had! The fries, well I like the crisp-crisp-crisp, but did not specify.. They came out perfect to my liking. The bourbon list, only Knob Creek and Bullitt, drinkable but it would have been nice to see some eagle rare, Blantins, etc. The "house" wine was yummy too. No dessert, we were very full. SummaryL We would absolutely go back again and not wait 15 years! 5 stars from us. Note; we liked the casual dress... I dont mind wearing a shirt and tie but we did feel more relaxed in casual attire.“
“Great Food and Service. The bad Loud Country Western Music deflated the experience. We did ask the waitress to turn down the volume and they did, but the annoying joke was where is the Mechanical Bull in this upper quality dining experience?!? The next time we are in town I will call in advance and if the same loud country western music is the ambience, then we will look for other options to spend our money.“
“Absolutely unbelievable experience all around. Went here tonight for my birthday and was blown away by the customer to service experience. Even though a good amount of the staff is sub fluent with English, with a Little patience and coordination the entire overall experience delivered was far beyond expectations. Despite any language barriers I was served beyond what I expected and the food was well above average. Very high quality product at a very reasonable price. This will be my go-to place for exquisite Mexican style food from now on. Great job to the establishment and the staff for this experience“
“We are here visiting the area for the weekend. This restaurant exceeded expectations. The food was delicious and the staff service is really great. If you’re looking for good food and great service highly recommend you come here to eat. You will not be disappointed.“
“I've been a long time customer of Knaus. It's a wonderful neighborhood wine bar. Generous pours, excellent, friendly service & art surrounds you as you relax. Go here for a quick dinner of a very tasty sandwich, salad or flat bread. Sarah is simply amazing what she can do with such a small kitchen & prep area. I've met the most amazing people because Sarah is such a great small business owner. She brings people together& is a big supporter of local artists. Highly recommend.“
