“Wow! I have lived in Long Island for 28 years and this was the first experience I had at Lotus Dynasty. All I can say is they just earned a lifetime customer because that was the single greatest restaurant I have ever been to. Michelin needs to evaluate this hidden gem because it deserves all 5 stars. Apparently, it's the only proper sit-down Chinese restaurant in the area (with wait service) so this really worked out nicely. Eason, was very professional, super attentive and polite and Lee was so kind as well, in accommodating us and explaining the menu, in addition to allowing for substitutions. For $7 extra, choice of soup, roast pork egg roll/spring roll/shrimp roll (not greasy at all!), and ice cream are included! The ambiance and food take you back to how it used to be back in the day. “Oriental Kitchen is our family’s new favorite Chinese in Suffolk. We recently moved to the area and have been trying to find a decent New York style Chinese spot and last night we found one. Yay! The food was fresh and delicious. We ordered classics like beef broccoli, general tsos, veg dumplings, wonton soup and chicken wings. Wow!! I agree with the other reviews, you can taste the love they put it into the food. Vivian, the young lady at the counter was so warm and friendly. I've been to many restaurants in Flushing and Manhattan and I gotta say that Spice Workshops food is even better than some of those restaurants. The flavor is very authentic to what szechuan food is suppose to be. My recommendation for ordering:

- Shredded pig feet with peppers
- Cabbage
- Sweet and sour fried crispy pork
- Hunan beef with green peppers

“Tried the shrimp bun today at Ming’s House Chinese Food and it was excellent. The bun was light, fluffy, and perfectly steamed—soft and pillowy with just a slight slipperiness that made it fun (and a little messy) to eat. The shrimp inside was tender and flavorful, cooked with sautéed onions and scallions in a savory sauce that soaked beautifully into the bun without being greasy or overpowering.

The pork fried rice is just okay it would be great it they had bigger chunks of pork in the rice. I suggest getting the regular large quarts of food rather than the combination platter because it has less food in it. Also the soup could have a better brothy taste to it. I would recommend this spot. I was also so glad that they deliver to my area. I placed the order over the phone which was pleasant and easy to understand the person on the other side. Fried dumplings, shrimp toast, combo beef and broccoli, which comes with fried rice and an egg roll. Now for many places thus far, i have never been able to find where all the items were good. Its usually none or one or two of the items i order. ALL of it was very good! I like how you can order delivery directly from their website and pay cash upon delivery (like the good ole days!). And while its not that far, I am in Centereach and this place in in Nesconset, it is about 4 miles away which is not directly in my local area and yet it still got here pretty fast and HOT! I would definitely order from them again based on taste alone!“
