“i've been eating here for over a decade, and ever since they had a new management, the food still tastes similar. However, I noticed that they've become cheap with their portions, it's a huge difference from before the management changed. I ordered food today, and I only got 2 small broccolis. I would've gotten wayyyyy more in the old management. Their portions are smaller, especially when you order beef. I also noticed they don't really give out that many sauces anymore lol. Overall, it's the same yummy, filling, familiar taste, but the portions aren't that good.“

“I have tried lamb over rice. My expectation was more over the taste of lamb. I think they should try more to make it a tasty one. French fries were ok. Salad was nothing special. Overall they should try more to make it something better than their competitors.“

“June 26, 2022. Walked to get our order of a Lamb wrap, chicken wrap and fries. First time there and a welcome place to the neighborhood. The staff are friendly, the place is new and clean and most important the food is very good. Will return many times. Check it out.“

“This cart is right off the Grand Ave Station so I usually stop by on my way home.

The person working is usually different everytime I go but they are all so kind! And they really pack in what they can into the to-go container. I guess it depends on how much you eat but it usually lasts me 2 meals.

They take both cash and card which is also really convenient.“

“Came here around 12:45Am and got a triple mix platter. Just finished eating it and it was by far the best halal I’ve had. None of the other halal spots in the area even come close. On top of that the dude who served me and cooked the food was extremely nice and helpful. Even at midnight, the food was hot and cooked fresh. Will definitely be coming back here often“

The fried chicken is incredibly crispy, and the buldak chicken with cheese was absolutely delicious, though be warned—it’s quite spicy! The portion sizes are generous as well. The kimchi fried rice was decent, but it had a strong sesame oil flavor that might not be for everyone. The fries were a highlight—crispy and fresh. The iced tea, however, wasn't sweet enough for my taste. I also tried a sauce that was labeled as spicy, but it leaned more on the sweet side, which wasn’t what I was expecting. It would be great if there was a way to sample all the sauces without having to buy each one separately. The service was friendly and enthusiastic, which made the experience even more enjoyable.“

So, quality was great. I ordered a mix platter/combo over rice for delivery. When I got the food, it was nice and hot, but it was just lamb over rice. No chicken to be found. Everyone makes mistakes, so it's fine. I really wasn't too upset because the lamb was delicious. The rice was great as well. Fries could be better. Overall quality is a 5 STAR in my opinion.

The QUANTITY, however, really needs to be addressed. I paid $14.14 for the food + taxes. This is without the delivery fee. And after I finished my meal, I was HUNGRY. This should not happen, like EVER. There was barely any meat, there was an OK amount of rice and maybe 10 pieces of fries. IDK maybe I'm the one with a big appetite, but I'm pretty sure this wouldn't fill up any adult.
Overall Quantity is a 2 STAR in my opinion.

The food was absolutely delicious, and I'd probably make my way out there again just for more. While waiting, the cart cook gave us samplers of the meat with the different sauces. Overall I recommend this place for kids and adults. The spice levels canbe altered by asking for little hot sauce and more white sauce. The price is affordable and it is ready in less than 10 minutes.“

“This and ONLY this Crown Fried spot is the #1 store. The workers are respectful, patient, professional, and fast. When I first moved to Brooklyn, these individuals let me ask a million questions. They were never annoyed with me, and my “ let me get a ummmmm “ moments. The area respects them, the food is great. Big shoutouts to Noor, Atiq, Sabi, & Kooday for allowing my family and I, a chance to spend our money on AMAZING quality food. “The Jerk chicken platter and hot wings make this halal stand out compared to others. Always have to get one or the other. The fried fish is amazing as well. The Halal eats burger is fine dining quality.
The portions is outstanding for the price. Never been disappointed with any item.
There is a wait time for items that are not a platter due to being made fresh to order so be prepared for that.
I hope this place keeps its quality and stays open forever.

Parking: The store front is located on a corner with both sides being a no-standing bus stop. But it is Queens so of course if you’re just going to pick up the food it’s perfectly fine. But during busy times those spots may be taken which leads to parking all the way down by Dunkin’ Donuts or in the parking lot of Stop & Shop across the street.
I’be never had an issue but something to be aware of if you’re not from the area.“

“The double cheese burger is great. Tastes like a classic burger cooked perfectly at a bbq. Seasoned great and perfectly juicy when you bite into it and you can ask for white cheese if that’s what you prefer. Their Mac and cheese is actually very good. Most people mess up Mac and cheese but I finally have a spot close by that has something acceptable. So many smash burger spots that this place is a breath of fresh bbq air because they have the fat premium patties.“

“Great new Halal place in the neighborhood that sells delicious Halal over Rice or pita as well as Tikkas, Koftas and Falafel. These are large portions as well. In addition they have wings, burgers, wraps, milkshakes, ice cream, and kulfi.

The inside is very clean and they have a good amount of seating.

I recently got the Chicken Kofta over Rice and Salad and a bit of pita. Really delicious and a large portion. I saw a couple of people there who were eating the Halal Chicken over rice, and the Falafel over Rice. It seemed like a large portion. The cooks and the grill is behind a glass window near the entrance, where you can see them making it, as well as the toppings and sauces you want to add to your meal.

I think this is my new go to Halal spot in the neighborhood.“

Great food, quite spicy though. The yogurt is nice with the toppings. Milk tea is the salty kind, need to get used to the taste.“

“Just went tonight and grabbed 2 chicken platters to go with my fiancé. The employees were wonderful. Beyond kind and personable. The food I don’t have words for. I didn’t take a photo due to being over excited but the portions are more than fair for what you pay. The hot sauce is VERY hot for me personally but I like it. The salata that comes with the entree is so fresh and tasty. The chicken is perfectly cooked - tender and seasoned deliciously. Even the rice is a masterpiece. We also highly recommend the pakora chips! They’re crispy on the outside, nice and soft on the outside, seasoned, and made fresh to order. We were even told by the staff that we were welcome to sit and make ourselves comfortable while we waited for the chips since they are made to order but our food was done so fast we barely had a chance to! We’re not done eating but we’ve already agreed this will be our Saturday night go to. For 2 people getting 2 platters and a side of pakora chips it was just $30. You’d spend more per person getting dinner from any other restaurant around.“
