“If Hollywood needed to make a movie with an authentic town bar, they would film it here. It's been in operation since 1946, is the quintessential town bar, and is an amazing gem in Mendon. I was there with a buddy of mine for the first time and the bartender put a bottle of beer on the bar where no one was sitting. Three minutes later, a regular popped in and sat down to enjoy that beer.

“This is by far the best plate in Rochester!! The garbage plate wrap is AMAZING! They also have a sauce called panther sauce that elevates the plate! The only suggestion I have is they need to figure out the phone situation. I feel like they unplug the phones on purpose so they don’t have to take more orders. This makes it hard when wanting to order ahead, we have to drive there and hope for the best when it comes to a wait time. Other then that I HIGHLY recommend!“

“We use this hotel each year on our trip to Ohio from Maine. Easy to find from I 90. We were welcomed by Diamond at reception in a professional and friendly manner which was nice after a long drive. The rooms are clean and tidy, quiet nights rest , breakfast is always good and we were on our way again.Will. be using this hotel again ! “Reunion of a few hockey players from the 1970's for lunch today . Our waitress was Molly and she was (Johnny on the Spot) from ordering to getting refills on our drinks . We were very pleased with the Tenders , French Onion soup and the Burgers ! Even the popcorn was great . The $11.99 lunch menu was perfect . Molly was one step ahead of us whatever we needed and it cost us about HALF of what we paid at Distillery on our previous lunch .

Wait time when I first walked in until the time I was seated was approximately five minutes once I was seated the waitress appeared within 3 to 4 minutes to take my order. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. The Reuben sandwich was really well made very flavorful for my side. I chose the macaroni salad which had no flavor whatsoever. It was very bland.“

“Took our 10 year old for his birthday on a whim, and the waitress (I wish I remembered her name) asked us if we were there for anything special. After telling her it was his birthday, she came back a few minutes later telling us she got a “personal call from Dave & Busters and they wanted to give this very special boy a free play pass”. He was SO excited and it made him feel extra special on his day, so we really appreciate that. He even got a light up ice cube and gummy worms in his drink, and he was so happy.“
