I got the mango & strawberry in a cup. Lined with chocolate and nuts. Was awesome. Got to sample the milk chocolate as well. VERY GOOD…..“

“A few years ago, I was hired to write a series of articles about regional Italian cuisine. Since then, I have been looking for traditional Italian gelato. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores to get it very often. But about that? My hips are less upset about the distance. :) I will definitely be back, though!“

“The first time I tried them was at the Rockefeller center which I saw it on TikTok and wanted to see if it was worth the hype. I got the s’mores hot chocolate back in December 2024 and omg the best hot chocolate ever don’t go to any of the hot chocolate spots except this one because this was truly worth the hype. Now I went to go to their actual store (Sep 2025) they had a S’mores frozen hot chocolate which I got that, the customer service was amazing! The guy & girl were really nice. Now on to my drink which was the first time I had frozen hot chocolate and it was amazing!! I had an overall great experience and definitely will be coming back again. 🤎☕️ (I’m also picky when it comes to food & drinks so when I tell you it’s worth it! It’s definitely worth it!)“

“I’ve been to Van Leeuwen a few times during my stay in New York, and I keep going back—it’s that good! The ice cream is rich, creamy, and full of flavor. My favorites are the honeycomb and coffee—both perfectly balanced and not overly sweet.
What really sets it apart is the homemade waffle cone. It’s warm, crisp, and buttery, adding the perfect texture and aroma to every scoop. You can tell they care about quality and craft.
Whether you're a local or just visiting, Van Leeuwen is a must-try. It’s comfort in a cone but not three scopes at once. Probably should get the cone in a bowl. 🤣“

“I have went to many froyo store but this one takes the cake the store is always very clean and organized, the best thing about this store is the staff they are all very welcoming, one of the girl helped me open the door when I was having difficulty and they are very sweet to little kids always assisting them with amazing manners they are the sweetest and I can see that all the staff focus on cleanliness of their toppings and the way they deal with their products I definitely recommend this place

However, we want to tell you more; favourite food, among the others, are croissants, tart and all the deliciuos small cakes. Not to mention the excellent homemade ice creams. Nothing is left to chance, also our pet friends were super happy to taste the eccellent cookies. Special mention to Enzo who makes the best omelette in town. “Wow. Brand new, friendly, great business in a great neighborhood, Prospect Lefferts Garden. Would have been great if it was just good, but omg it is honestly the BEST ice cream I’ve had in Brooklyn. Awesome, creative new flavors every week. Yesterday’s was malted ice cream with chopped malted-milk balls. Also mint ice cream made with mint leaves. Another made with honey that also had some chili heat (forgot the name)—all amazing. Go now before you can’t get in.“
