“We first heard about Via Cassia while visiting Tuscany, and knowing we lived just an hour and an half away from a restaurant that we heard about from across the Atlantic, we had to come visit. We couldn’t have had a better experience! When the owners heard how we found them, they both made sure to come meet us. They were so kind and welcoming and took very good care of us! The food was absolutely incredible, and we got to enjoy the same wine we had while visiting Tuscany. Truly a 10/10 experience and we will absolutely be coming back.“

“We played at Anthony's last night for a private event. If you are looking for a very clean, friendly, great food, and an absolutely beautiful place to have your event, we highly recommend it. Anthony is a great guy, and the staff was amazing too! It's very spacious. Even the restrooms were very big compared to most places. Not to mention there were 3 types of soap in the bathroom. We hope to play there again!“

“Tonight we had a Christmas Party for the Fortnightly Club of Catskill. The food was delicious and everything was so well organized . If you’re looking to have a party or even just dinner this is the place to go. Excellent food and excellent service - Poppy and Alyssa were great tonight . Shawn is the best bartender around . Let’s not forget Cheryl who is the owner/chef! Her food is top notch !“

The guests all complimented the menu; the staff was friendly and professional; the presentation of the food was beautiful; and the food was plentiful and amazing -the tuna appetizer was a favorite! Can’t say enough good things and would highly recommend them for your next catered event!!“

My only complaint was that for a restaurant at that price point (but honestly, I would feel the same at any price point) - I was completely shocked to discover that the side of mashed potatoes I ordered were INSTANT and not real potatoes! I don’t know that I’ve ever been served instant before, even at chain restaurants. Despite that, the rest of my meal was tasty though.“

“A very casual restaurant which we like. My wife and I have eaten here 3 times since they opened in the Fall. We have had a Grandma's pizza, Stromboli and Chicken parm dinner 2x for me. Chicken parm dinner is a great deal for $15. It comes with a good size side salad, bread, pasta. Enough food for me to bring home leftovers 2x! I thought the employees were very friendly!“

“Our waitress was fantastic. There were 5 of us and she had no problem doing separate checks. The food was awesome we had brushetta, onion rings, spinach salad, Cesar salad, cheese quesadilla and a Swiss burger. Everything was delicious and we had a great time. I'll go back again.“
