“First winery we went to in the fingerlakes and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend! There is something for everyone!“
“We love making this our first stop to visit the owners who have become our friends!!!“
“I stayed at Crow Nest Farm and was offered a taste of this amazing hard cider! My fav is the mixed berries (we bought a bottle home) Everyone was so kind and inviting. Even the people that came just for the cider were sweet. All around great vibes.“
“We have been here multiple times and always enjoyed our visit. Most recently Claudia provided outstanding service for our tasting which led to us buying another case to enjoy at home. We visited during a heat wave and the tasting room was nice and cool. Can't wait to go back!“
“Great port and champagne. Gotta have a mimosa! Erica was very sweet and a great server for some great wines. Absolutely a must stop, I know we’ll always stop in when up the lake!“
“Easy to get around with an electric cart.“
“Great wines, beautiful views from the spacious patio!“
“I went for a tasting recently and had a great time! The owners were interacting with customers, the service was amazing and the environment was comfortable. The servers took time to explain about the wine and the view from the deck is amazing! The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend!“
“Loved that I could create my own flight - they were all lovely ( the Gewürztraminers were my favorites). My husband got a beer flight - he said they were all great and my son got a kid flight with root beer, lemonade and grape juice, everyone was happy! Beautiful views, super kind staff, great experience!“
“It just so beautiful and friendly“
“Honestly some of the best food I’ve ever had. The wine was amazing! They have a wide selection on their tasting menu. Then we bought a bottle to enjoy with our lunch. The owner, his wife and their dog are the sweetest! We will be back.“
“Many different types of ciders calm laid back open atmosphere“
“Cranberry Frost was a huge hit at Thanksgiving - good thing I had multiple bottles“
“🥂 we loved the beautifully done gardens, and dry rose was very good. They even offer a small gift shop, as well as some small eats in a cooler, which was great to take back to the boat. Great place to kick back with you favorite bottle & people or pets 🥰“
“Bright Leaf Vineyard is hands down the best winery in the Finger Lakes! My wife and I have been coming here since Mike and Donna first opened, and it’s been our favorite spot ever since. We love it so much that we became Wine Club Members, and their quarterly shipments of wine are always a highlight.
What really sets Bright Leaf apart is how much care and passion Mike and Donna put into their wines. You can truly taste the difference—their wines stand out in a region full of great options. They take so much pride in their craft, and it shows in every bottle. The warm, welcoming atmosphere is a reflection of their dedication to making the experience special for everyone who visits.
If you're in the Finger Lakes, you need to give Bright Leaf a try. Whether you're sipping wine with the stunning view or picking up a bottle (or two!) to take home, I’m sure you’ll love it just as much as we do. Trust me—you won’t be disappointed!“
“nice wines. knowledgeable employees“
“Loved our “sister” experience here! Harmony wine excellent!“
“Delicious burger and wine pairing! Give Red Newt a try for your next weekend lunch, you'll be glad you did! I had the newt burger with fries and a glass of Red Eft. The local ingredients create a hearty meal that fueled me rather than weighed me down. Can't wait to try another burger or a grilled cheese and soup. They put an elegant twist on all they do with bright and friendly staff.“

“Just an impromptu stop while working our way around some wineries between Seneca and Cayuga, but so glad we found this little gem. Not busy at all when we stopped but most likely because the Watkins Glen Wine fest was going on at the same time. Randy was super friendly and very informative and even gave us a short tour of the facility. Bruce(owner) was in and out and we got to hear the story of how the Sheperdess got its name. DO NOT miss this place if you like your dry reds!! My wife and I thought they were some of the best tasting and full bodied reds in the region. They had a couple whites that were excellent but not our choice. The selection was limited but I would rather see fewer wines with better quality any day. Make sure to put this on your visit list if you are into high quality reds and whites(they also had a white sangria that we did not try).“
