“With so many pizza choices in Irondequoit, this is my favorite. Pizza is always delicious, hot and made how I like it. Staff is always friendly when I go to pick it up. I have also used them for parties and never had an issue.“

“This little ceasers is the best in the Rochester area. Everytime I go there they always have stuff hot n ready to go. I’ve been to multiple others and never do they have stuff hot n ready to go like advertised and make you wait at close to a half hour for one item. The one on Lyle ave never has anything and when I said something as to why they don’t I was yelled at and told to leave if I don’t like it and their wait times were crazy and it has a drive thru so it makes no sense not to have things ready and at the same time there was no customers but still had no item hot n ready to go. Don’t go to Lyle ave location for it is thee worse service and expect to wait a long time to even get one pizza or any small item. The place should be closed down for how poorly they treat customers just because they are not doing what the company advertises which is not the customers fault so the customer has a right to complain especially since they never have anything hot n ready. I went there different times and each time it was the same result that I stopped going there. It get very little business due to that fact.“

“Very good pizza. We had 3 12in pies, all were enjoyable. Thin crust, good toppings.

The selection of toppings is not as widely varied as dome places, but we had no trouble making satisfying choices. Stuffed garlic cheese bread very good, pie sauce outstanding.

We would happily go back.“

“Food was good. Had wings and beef on weck. Service was not good. Sat at a booth in the bar area. This was a Saturday at 4pm. Not busy at all. Took 15 minutes for a waitress to even acknowledge us even though there was at least 3-4 that we saw wandering around. Definitely not as good as the original, but hoping they’ll work out some of the kinks.“

“Our neighbor recently recommended Pizza chef so we gave it a whirl after some other very well respected pizza places in the Fairport/Bushnells basin area have REALLY fallen off. Pleased to say after ordering a couple times from here that we have a new favorite for NY style pizza. It’s been consistent each time we’ve ordered so far and tastes great. The style of pie is very reminiscent of the classic slice shops on the corners in Manhattan. Not overpriced either so the value proposition is great! Definitely worth trying if you’re craving that style of pizza. And the people working there have always been nice and pleasant. Looking forward to trying the sandwiches and other menu items in the future too.“

First off, they contacted me when the game was rescheduled and offered accommodations so that I could get the pizza and bake it myself as they weren’t open on Monday when the game would be played. THEN called back again to let me know they were going to open on Monday after all and scheduled a time for me to pick up my pizza. Awesome customer service and only outdone by the delicious pizza!! “I need to make you aware of a wonderful diamond in the rough on Rochester’s west side. My wife and I visited this quaint Lower Manhattan style eatery with my brother-in-law and his wife. This unassuming place from the outside pleasantly surprises once you enter with its quaint bar area, blacked out ceiling and twin open kitchen stations. First litmus test is the quality of bread with a full complement of spices to prep your own dipping oil. Check! Special of the day, Seared Halibut on a bed of risotto, didn’t disappoint, nor did my samples of homemade Rigatoni à la Bolognese (just like Mom’s Sunday sauce) or the Chicken Milanese! Completed the meal with an ample slice of homemade Ricotta Cheesecake with Berry Compote. The owner checked in with us several times. The table service was perfect. The glass enclosed wine cellar in the middle of the dining area completed an impressive ambience and dining experience. Run don’t walk to this most pleasant gastro treat!“

Had the smoked pork sandwich with coleslaw on it. A phenomenal pairing Tried the bbq spaghetti which nearly blew me outta my seat!!! The bbq sauce was epic! @strangebird you need to shrink the size of the bbq spaghetti to a fries size and server them with the handhelds in place of French fries with that bbq sauce. Cuz heck yes! That bbq sauce on the side as a dipper 🤩🤩🤩. Great job to the staff. Bigger vehicles might wanna park on the street. If it’s busy, the parking lot is very narrow.“

Today I couldn't put it off any longer "A LARGE CHEESE PIZZA FOR $12.00" are you kidding me. typically I like to add some toppings when ordering a pizza but I wanted to see what the bare bones have to say and by the way when they say large they mean it. It reminded me of the way it used to be instead of the large size other shops typically offer today which don't come close. I went to pick it up and when I entered the shop it immediately presented a very nice "Vibe". There were several pizzas ready with a variety of toppings for purchase by the slice. The room smelled amazing. The environment is welcoming and clean. I spoke with the woman at the counter who may have been the owner and I meant to ask but was engaged with other questions since it was my first visit. The pizza was cooked perfectly and was so flavorful I truly did not miss having other toppings added, although I am anxious to try them with my next order. As a result, I ate more than I should have and had to force myself to stop. Still we all know how nice it is to have some leftover for later. If you have not tried them yet, don't hesitate. I also notice so many other great items on their menu. Oh well so much for my weight goals.“

“This was our first time trying The Gate House and we were impressed! We came on a Thursday afternoon with no reservation and were seated right away. Our server was prompt and attentive immediately and continued through the duration of our meal. We tried the Xerox pizza as well as the Duffy burger and both were 10/10! Absolutely delicious.
