“Delicious as always. I went yesterday, with a friend and I got to say, your prices have gone through the roof! I mean doubled by $8-$10 per meal. We also got there at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon, the dead of August, we wanted a hightop table. We were told that they were reserved and That people would be coming in within the next 45 minutes, and they didn’t wanna have to switch us again. By the time we left at 7:30 there were still 2 high tops available/empty. I’ll still be back because it’s a Broadway but those two things definitely bothered us“

“This restaurant is absolutely the best. Ohan and Mourad are so kind and hospitable. All of the food is spectacular, but the chicken shawarma, baba ganouj, muhamarra, basil hummus and stuffed grape leaves are truly something special in my opinion. They make everything fresh and the flavors are incredible. Whenever I'm in Irvington my friends and family request that I pick up extra. We have also ordered catering for multiple Christmas parties and the platters are always LICKED CLEAN! We order chicken shawarma over rice, hummus platter, stuffed grape leaves, and mediterranean salad platter and our guests absolutely rave about the food. Would recommend a million times over.“

Urban Central on Central Ave was welcoming and very clean, and the food tasted fresh and delicious. We actually took a chance on this place about three weeks ago and were very satisfied, so we went back again last week-and it was the same great, welcoming experience.

I can hardly wait to return! Sunday brunch is fantastic! Busy and absolutely worth the wait! I had their delicious shakshuka and an early grey tea while my friend had the hamburger and a cappuccino. We both loved it!!! We ate outside which was lovely, but inside is even more lovely! The design is farmhouse chic meets French patisserie…a great combo!!! And…the staff was kind and generous!! “I've only eaten there once, but I can see myself visiting again. Service was very good, and friendly. The "Alvin" Grilled Chicken Sandwich was tasty, though the Chicken was a bit chewy. The French Fries were very good. The menu looks very ambitious, and I look forward to trying their other offerings. The bathrooms are tiny, but clean! It's a safe bet that you'll get an enjoyable meal at Strawberry Place.“

“Wanted to give a shout out to the restaurant, Freddy’s, in Pleasantville. Went with a couple of girlfriends a few weeks ago and then again with my hubby last week. Both meals were delicious. The appetizers are yummy! Most of all, though, I wanted to remark on the atmosphere. The people in charge are just delightful. Had a chance to meet the owner. He told me he named the restaurant after his grandfather ( forgive, it might have been his father). Either way I thought it was nice. He has a young family and loves what he does. They have been open for two years, but I just found them now. If you haven’t checked them out, you should soon!“

“Tuck’d Away has the BEST brunch in the area. I never had a more diverse brunch in my life. the entire staff is very attentive and professional. Michael is the best owner in the world I ever met - so fun to be around and cares about the community. Jason is a very fun and friendly bartender and Stephanie and the serving staff always make it feel like you belong. Wife had the roasted salmon, which was also great. Add some of the delicious sides (crispy brussel sprouts and plantains) and you have yourself a great meal for a reasonable price. You cannot confuse me with food I’m a foodie I know what I want. I asked them to give me a real piece of meat steak and they did. I wasn’t rude or anything I just didn’t expect to be given that kind lol. If I wanted a burger 🍔 I would’ve ordered burger. It’s obviously not a steak they should change the description of that menu item if that’s the case. Don’t dupe me with something I didn’t ask for and cover it with sauces and mountain of sides. “Decor probably hasn't changed in 40 years, which is part of its charm. Really good food (try the chicken scarp), and drinks. Prices are as low as you can get. If it's crowded expect a very slow kitchen.“

My burger bun was hard as a rock, the bacon was hard and cold, my kids' broccoli was swimming in some weird oil like liquid, inedible, the chicken Mac& Cheese bowl tasted warm and seemed microwabable.....and we literally had to send back the wine carafe, it was BITTER!!! Needless to say a waste of money! Sorry, I wouldn't recommend, cute place but that is all.“
