“IT WAS HORRIBLE. AS A MEXICAN I DO NOT APPROVE, THIS PLACE HAD BAD BAD FOOD, FIRST OF ALL THEY SERVED ME AN ORANGE WITH TACOS, WHO DOES THAT? WHO IN THE RIGHT MIND GIVE ORANGES WITH TACOS, NUH UH. ALSO, I FOUND OUT THAT THEIR GUACAMOLE IS NOT EVEN MEXICAN RECEPIE, IT TASTED LIKE WASABI WITH TOO MUCH MAYO EXPECT IT WAS NOT EVEN WASABI, AND ALSO THERE WERE NOT ONLY HAIRS IN MY FOOD BUT THERE WA A FRAKING ROACH SINGING LA CUCARACHA WITH MEXICAN HAT AND LITTLE TINY MARACAS. “Really good Mexican restaurant. Possibly the best I’ve had in the area. The chicken quesadilla was packed with flavor, made with quality ingredients, and very filling. The homemade chips and guacamole were delicious and freshly made.

“First time dining at this restaurant. The food was excellent. Service was very attentive and atmosphere great. It's always a mystery on how loud a place can be and this was perfect. The live music was a nice surprise too. I had the stuffed Shrimp wrapped in Bacon and my husband had a combo - Tostada, Enchilada and Stuffed pepper. Delicious.“

“Amazing trays of 30 tacos and all veggies on the side! Plus we grabbed some Empanadas too! Today was the perfect day for us to try them since we were right at the mall! The owner was too sweet and brought us all kinds of things to try while we were waiting! The Biria was to die for and he brought us this Mexican Pizza absolutely mouthwatering! It is inside the gas station across from the Palisades! Seriously such good authentic Mexican food! He says you can even call and ask what his special is. He tries different things every week! “All the tacos are outstanding! The carnitas is moist and flavorful; the Chicharrón is crispy with tender meat; the birria is complex and rich. All the toppings are phenomenal. The portions of the tacos are very generous (like 2 normal tacos) so bring an appetite. Luis and his family are generous and kind hosts.“

“the absolute BEST steak sopes i’ve ever had and i’d consider myself a bit of a harsh critic. easy 10/10. the chilaquiles en salsa verde with steak added were also 9.5/10. egg on the chilaquiles were a bit overcooked but that’s on us as we forgot to tell them to leave it a bit runny (a preference thing). the sauce was flavorful, tastes fresh and sits very smooth. just be aware they do not serve liquor (i love a good margarita with dinner) which is no problem, as they had many jarrito options and aguas frescas. we had the churros and tiramisu for dinner which were also very delicious. the churros had some kind of cinammon cream filling inside and came with dark chocolate sauce on the side, delicious! will be back!!“

I love the sauce that was on the buffalo wings girl fajita Texans amazing enchilada Sousa everything was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, there was an unexpected medical emergency during our visit, and I have to recognize how outstanding the staff handled the situation.
They responded immediately with urgency, professionalism, compassion, and full attention. Everyone stayed calm, focused, and dedicated to making sure help was provided quickly. It was truly impressive to witness a team that not only delivers great hospitality, but also rises to the occasion during a serious moment.
That level of care says everything about the character of this establishment. Rio Bravo has an exceptional staff, and I highly recommend this restaurant for both their amazing food and the genuine care they show people.“

“Stopped for lunch and we were more interested in having sangria than in eating as we were not overly hungry. Have to say the staff were attentive and the food was ok but we paid $35 for a pitcher of white sangria that was very watered down. I had the bistec poblano and he had crispy calamari.“
