“IT WAS HORRIBLE. AS A MEXICAN I DO NOT APPROVE, THIS PLACE HAD BAD BAD FOOD, FIRST OF ALL THEY SERVED ME AN ORANGE WITH TACOS, WHO DOES THAT? WHO IN THE RIGHT MIND GIVE ORANGES WITH TACOS, NUH UH. ALSO, I FOUND OUT THAT THEIR GUACAMOLE IS NOT EVEN MEXICAN RECEPIE, IT TASTED LIKE WASABI WITH TOO MUCH MAYO EXPECT IT WAS NOT EVEN WASABI, AND ALSO THERE WERE NOT ONLY HAIRS IN MY FOOD BUT THERE WA A FRAKING ROACH SINGING LA CUCARACHA WITH MEXICAN HAT AND LITTLE TINY MARACAS. “Guacamole was amazing and they were very accommodating about customizing a kids meal. My daughter got a quesadilla with chicken and she wouldn’t stop saying how good it was. My niece and nephew also really liked the cheese on/in their meals and said it was very tasty. Really great food and nice atmosphere!“

“La La is a warm, friendly neighborhood taqueria in the heart of downtown Pelham and the tacos are superb. The owner is from Oaxaca and he knows his tacos! We eat there regularly and almost always order the special taco of the day. They are original, freshly made and bursting with unexpected flavors, often a delightful combination of creamy, spicy, savory and sweet. We just had the Cochinita Pibil taco and I think it was the best yet. The tortillas are also flavorful and tender.“

“What seems to be a nondescript takeout joint located in a strip plaza belies a charming, homestyle spot with flavorful food made with care. Guacamole with fresh chips was so fresh with the just the right amount of onions, tomatoes, salt and lime. Beef flautas, as simple of a dish as they are, were some of the best I’ve tasted. Finally, the Pancita soup hit the spot - warm, spicy and velvety. On top of the food, the waitress was so friendly and welcoming. Top tier recommendation for great Mexican food. Tables are limited (I think about 5). If they had a liquor license, this would be an A+ spot.“

“the absolute BEST steak sopes i’ve ever had and i’d consider myself a bit of a harsh critic. easy 10/10. the chilaquiles en salsa verde with steak added were also 9.5/10. egg on the chilaquiles were a bit overcooked but that’s on us as we forgot to tell them to leave it a bit runny (a preference thing). the sauce was flavorful, tastes fresh and sits very smooth. just be aware they do not serve liquor (i love a good margarita with dinner) which is no problem, as they had many jarrito options and aguas frescas. we had the churros and tiramisu for dinner which were also very delicious. the churros had some kind of cinammon cream filling inside and came with dark chocolate sauce on the side, delicious! will be back!!“

I love the sauce that was on the buffalo wings girl fajita Texans amazing enchilada Sousa everything was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, there was an unexpected medical emergency during our visit, and I have to recognize how outstanding the staff handled the situation.
They responded immediately with urgency, professionalism, compassion, and full attention. Everyone stayed calm, focused, and dedicated to making sure help was provided quickly. It was truly impressive to witness a team that not only delivers great hospitality, but also rises to the occasion during a serious moment.
That level of care says everything about the character of this establishment. Rio Bravo has an exceptional staff, and I highly recommend this restaurant for both their amazing food and the genuine care they show people.“

“Stopped for lunch and we were more interested in having sangria than in eating as we were not overly hungry. Have to say the staff were attentive and the food was ok but we paid $35 for a pitcher of white sangria that was very watered down. I had the bistec poblano and he had crispy calamari.“
