“We were looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat before going to a lecture at the Merrick Public Library. The photos of the food looked fabulous, so we decided to give Bourbon & Brews a try. We were greeted by Will, who rocks, offering happy hour specials and cocktails in a pint glass. Burgers were great, and the nachos were superior. Definitely will be back!“

“Great bar! Love going there. Excellent bartenders and they have fantastic events and parties. And since they bought DiMaggios next door the food has taken a step up from their normally great food and specials. The place looks really nice, too! The people who go there are wonderful... stop in for a drink and food. You will not be disappointed and don't forget your darts.“

“I’ve been coming to this bar since last year, and it’s always a great experience. The environment is welcoming, relaxed, and fun. The bartenders are very nice, polite, and make you feel right at home.
They also have karaoke nights on Wednesdays and Saturdays, which are always a blast. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good time with great service.“

“Came here yesterday for a late lunch/early dinner. We ordered the Indonesian veggie samba, California sushi rolls and spicy tuna sushi rolls. The food was excellent. Service was good. Food was prepared quickly and tasted fresh and delicious. The atmosphere and the visual effects on the wall makes for a great ambience. Definitely coming back here in the future.“

“First time going, I was invited to a birthday gathering. I’m a Puerto Rican woman, The people were great. The DJ was incredible. The Crowd, I love because it was the older crowd.(with younger Group too) I’m a 69 year old woman (don’t look it) loved how everyone was dressed, the restaurant Was very pleasant , the host walked around greeting and talking and asking “Is everything OK?”. MY COMPLAINT IS !!!!
They should have a special on the drinks. I thought it was very very expensive. I did not drink at all because I refuse to pay what they were asking for. The Manager ! should have a special for the ladies between (8pm n 9:30) free or 1/2 The Price !“

“The Bar tenders and the owner are always very hospitable and welcoming- even to newcomers. It is a quintessential community institution - where even if you are new to the village, you will be made to feel at home! All are welcomed - there are board games and always sports on multiple TVs- I have been coming to this establishment through several different owners and name changes- but the current owner is the best by far!“

For real, low key best family summer spot on the island. Entirely kid friendly tidal beach with more wildlife that you’ll know what to do with. Being a net and bucket if you have toddlers. Food is epic and beach side, bar is a MOVIE in a bait and tackle shop.
Endless summer and the most iconic family core memories.

Jeff had the turkey burger and I had the lobster roll I asked if he wanted to split our meals but he liked his too much lol I had to eat most of the lobster off the top so I could eat it like a sandwich Took the picture after I ate a good portion off the top Mark and his crew are the best! “Great cocktail bar with light snacks, located inside the Lockheed Super Constellation parked next to the TWA Hotel. A very nice space inside the aircraft cabin, where you can sit and enjoy a drink. It isnt always open, however, so check before you visit.“

“Pretty typical neighborhood bar — pool table, dartboard, and a big food menu with all the usual favorites. I came in for the wings special I saw online, but it turns out the menu I found was about nine months old. Instead, it was Taco Tuesday. The tacos were good, not amazing, but definitely decent bar food.
The bartender/server was super friendly and kept things moving even though she seemed to be handling most of the bar on her own. The wings looked great when I saw a few orders come out — and apparently, they’re only 50¢ each on Wednesdays from 7pm to close, so I might have to come back to try them then.
Overall, a solid, laid-back spot for a casual night out.“

“We had Thanksgiving dinner here with my two boys. The service was absolutely outstanding. Our waitress was amazing . The food was beyond what I expected. Well done!!!! The portions were beyond believable and believe it or not the take home portions were just as amazing as they were when first brought out. More than 5 stars. Excellent evening and the price was ridiculously resendable. Great job to all the cooks and the people that don't get the recognition they deserve in the preparation of this fantastic meal.“
