“Appetizer was a crab cake. Winner! Had the wood grilled shrimp and grits. WONDERFUL! My lady had a medium rare burger which was excellent ! I also had the Hawaiian Pineapple Cosmopolitan! WOW!Overall I was very pleased and will definitely be going back!“

“We had the best experience ever with this bakery - the cake was included in our venue pricing through this bakery, and I can definitely see why! Working with Alison to schedule and have our tasting, which was just down right fun...(because of COVID we had to take our samples home... and she loaded us up with some extras to share with friends) to showing her our vision for the cake on the day of, and then actually SEEING and EATING it at our wedding was perfect all the way through. They really incorporated everything we asked for, and it was simply delicious!!! We even asked for an extra birthday cupcake for our nephew to have on the day of the wedding, and they made it sooo cute! (wish I could figure out how to add a picture here... It was SO pretty!!!)“

“A lovely, sunny and delicious respite from the cares of the world... How wonderful to find a place that serves top notch vegan fare--both sweet and some savory offerings too. Loved the rainbow cookies, Jamaican Patty and the black cake. The layer cakes are spectacular as well. Coffee, tea, chai, cappuccino--just some of the hot drink offerings to go with your treats. The owners are most congenial and welcoming, serving you with utmost care and attention. The bakery is light and airy with several tables to dine at. Located across the street from the Glen Oaks library on Union Turnpike, there is ample street parking as well as the large parking lot located behind the bakery. There is convenient access to public transportation too: the Q36 and Q46 stop steps away. My family and I truly enjoyed our time at Rose Valley bakery and cannot wait to do so again!“

“Without a doubt the closest cooking to remind me of home. Catfish and Shrimp pivots was amazing. Crawfish Etoufee, chicken and sausage gumbo and chicken sausage and shrimp jambalaya was spot on. “The cookies here are to die for! Surprisingly they also sell donut holes. And for the price, variety, and taste they are an absolute must! I got one of each flavor, and each one was better then the next. Like..Tim hortons and dunkin who? Hahaha. For only $15 we got a mini carrot cake, a dozen donut holes, and a large sprinkle cookie. What a deal! The shop is so quaint and they have so much to choose from. You can even get dog treats, edible cake decorations prepacked loaf cakes and cookies.Even though they take credit cards, they have an ATM inside for convenience. So if you're trying to hop on the RVC train and need cash, you can quickly open in.Parking is metered street parking. There is more parking on the one way street around the corner, if you can't find one in the front.“

“Had an amazing time there as the owner is so personable and aims to have a “small cafe in Connecticut kind of feel” which I definitely got. She really works to personalize your orders and is willing to try new recipes. I got the chocolate chip and strawberry cheesecake, apple cinnamon muffins, chocolate cupcakes, chocolate mousse, chocolate chip cookies , double chocolate cookies, and bloodies which all tasted incredible! I highly recommend anyone with a special diet whether it be gluten (which she has a separate area of the kitchen for), vegan, kosher, etc. this is your place!“

“Had the bacalao fritters as an appetizer. They had small shards of bone in them. We each pulled bones out of our mouths. My friend ordered the cod named after restaurant. Had bones. No where in menu does it tell you that their plate is BONE IN. Made meal unpleasant.I had lamb chops. I must say they were thinnest lamb chops ever anywhere. Usually they’re 3 double chops in every place I’ve had them. Here they’re 4 single chops so thin you can’t get them medium rare as I ordered. I’d say go but ask lots of questions.“

“To start, they seat you with a tray of tortilla chips and 2 types of dipping sauces which were both flavorful and delicious. First we ordered the loaded plantain, then for tacos we got the cauliflower, chicharron and shrimp and we got the chicken burrito bowl and chicharron burrito bowl, all delicious. If this place wasn't so far from our home it would be a regular. Great place, definitely try.“

“Celebrated our daughter's 6th birthday with 5 of her friends. The service is always excellent, but today they were exceptional with helping make the breakfast special. “It is the most complete gluten-free menu of Italian favorites. Sauce is great. Everything we've ordered has been very good. Never get bored because there are so many choices. “As far as my husband and I are concerned one of the best, if not the best bakery. Been stopping by for years and never had a complaint. We had apple pie, chocolate babkah, various Danish, cookies. I love the chocolate cigars. Staff is always pleasant and helpful, no matter how busy they are. If it is a holiday, go early or reserve ahead of time.“

“Ordered the oatmeal raisin cookies as a Christmas gift for my husband. And they are delicious that homemade taste like mom used to make! Shipped when expected order was just delayed a couple days because of massive USPS delays before the Christmas holiday. They even threw in some nice chocolates that was a nice perk and not expected. “Allison baked and decorated the most beautiful birthday Cake for my daughters underwater / mermaid themed birthday party. This was a pull apart cupcake with yummy delicious flavors and just as tasty as it was beautiful. In my heart I didn't want anyone to eat it - it was so beautiful lol. The cupcakes had various flavors- they give you many options. Check them out. This will forever be my go to place for delicious cakes and desserts.“

“Texas roadhouse is always my go to restaurant when I am on the road traveling. Their steaks are always perfectly cooked and I have never had to wait even during rush-hour because there’s usually a stool at the bar I can get in quickly in order and have my meal in front of me typically less than 15 minutes.“

“We had a small group of people over on Sunday for an impromptu birthday party and decided to give this family owned restaurant a shot. What a GREAT choice! Each entree was fresh, filling and flavorful. The pizza slices were tasty and the garlic knots were perfect. On top of this, everyone, there is just so nice and giving. “In the area, wanted a quick lunch take out of soup and sandwich. Looked to be a nice, family run walk in, walk out place with a good rep. Took out both creamy chicken and chicken barley (both very good) and chicken pesto wrap also good. Service quick and friendly. Would have liked more soup choices considering the name. “AWESOME TREATS!The bakery offers the finest baked goods in the neighborhood. They have variety of pastries, breads, cookies and ice creams. I had a decaf coffee and flat white here. Both were freshly brewed and made to perfection. Highly recommend the bakery to anyone looking out for a high quality treats.“

“My friend recommended it, so I drove a distance of 14 hours (non-continuous of course) from Rochester to try a slice. Worth every minute. Perfect crispiness, great flavor. Super good price. The staff were kind and fun to talk to when we got a conversation started.Parking: Street parking is super cheap. 25¢ for an hour and a half, which is probably longer than it'll take for you to finish your meal. The food is worth the extra 25¢ anyway.“

We split the Il Giardino “ panini for our table appetizer ( and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his perfectly fried calamari dish)..the gnocci melted in our mouths - salads and other dishes memorable - I loved the bruschetta - goat cheese, walnuts, honey and mushroom! “My son was off from school and I had him for his Winter break so I dragged him to Domenico's for karaoke with Curtis. This place is deceiving. I walked in and was expecting a small pizza place. It's a huge place and my son and I were led to what I think is one of the party rooms where they set up for Curtis' karaoke.My son got soda, I got the chicken parm hero, and I got my son fries. He's a picky eater. We hung out he played on his phone, I got to sing two karaoke songs before he begged me to go home and I got the bill and went home.My chicken parm hero was great, cheesy, saucy, the bread was good! The service was good too. I would come back here again for Monday night karaoke with Curtis when I'm able to get to it.“

“On my usual quest to find a quiet place to work before meeting a friend for a drink and this time we just so happen to be in Long Beach. So there I am, driving down W Beech and I see a big bright pink wall that has "Baked" painted on it. Obviously, your girl had to get her baked goods on and inquire about a place where she can work on her laptop for a bit.I walked into the most ADORABLE and delicious baked goods shop. Beachy vibes with a PLETHORA of options. Merch was so cool and included a "Baked" beach towel. It looks like the specialize in their rainbow cookies, but I don't really like rainbow cookies so you might have to try those for yourself. I grabbed two cake pops, chocolate and carrot cake. Both really satisfied my sweet tooth. The kicker, THEY SERVE ALCOHOL! Beer, hard seltzers and other lighter beverages, but I mean sweets and booze...how can you go wrong. I refrained from grabbing a alcoholic beverage this time around, but you better believe I will do that next time. Finally, the staffer behind the counter was super sweet and patient with my disbelief in how cute this place was and the variety of options they have. And making a decision about food is always so hard. Not only was she very nice and did her best to advise in my decision.“
