“$4.25 for a small container of thick, chewy rice noodle rolls with fresh, perfectly cooked, shrimp and an egg! Breakfast of Champions! No line when I went around 9am and service was fast and efficient. No chitchat but I wasn't there for small talk ? After I recieved my order, I took a few steps back and just dug in! Yum! Great cheap eats in NYC! ?“

“These guys are the best halal cart I’ve had in the city. You know it’s good when there are a few carts within blocks, but these guys get lines in front of theirs daily. The locals know it’s worth the short wait. They are very pleasant happy people as well!“

“Excellent Singaporean restaurant inside Urban Hawker. I got the chicken cutlet curry rice and it was fantastic; highly recommend. I also tried the lychee drink, and while it was good, it was not carbonated and I really feel it would benefit from being so.“

“Love this place! Been visiting weekly for a while now. Always under promise and over deliver. Can’t get better than that. Favorite: Bark bowl and the laser cut potatoes!“

“Karl's Balls are some of the tastiest I have ever had in this world. Hot, savory, and so meaty! 🐙“
“Loved the vibe and the music. The food offerings were varied and interesting. It was held next to a park, which provided some seating.
There were only 2 porta potties and one badly needed cleaning.
I would return but want to see more food options and more clean toilets.“

“Woohoo this was awesome! After wandering around all the stalls I settled on the #5, the noodle with pork ribs, and it was so good. It came with some prawn broth (I think) and a huge plate of hot noodles mixed with veggies and tofu, and two nice pork ribs. The pork ribs were topped with a creamy sauce and red roe, and were super juicy. Everything was delicious!“

“Had it at City point Dekalb Market
The chicken was so good, tender and tasty with nice rice. Vegetables were fresh too and the hot soup!! It reminds me the one I had in local place.
People there are very nice too!! Will come back again ~“

“An iconic food truck in Washington Square Park, known for its masala and pondicherry dosas. Yes, you’ll wait—my line lasted an hour—but each bite reveals layers of warmth and spice, tamed by soulful coconut chutney and a soothing cup of soup. I chose the masala dosa at medium heat and found it amply fiery, so consider mild if you’re spice-shy. The owner is a kind spirit, graciously treating locals and even feeding those in need. While the line may test your patience, the flavors and generosity make it a heartwarming experience at least once.“

“Easily the best Halal Food Truck in the area. The person running the truck (possibly the owner) is the nicest man around! Friendly, conversational, caring and genuine. I love when his truck is outside my work, makes my day, even if I just get to pass by and say hi!
10/10 highly recommend!“

“If you are like me and have not had delicious barbecue for a long time, you will probably find it quite good. It feels like a Cantonese barbecue flavor. The pork is a salty barbecued pork, and the king of kings is also a little salty. Others I ordered include beef, mutton, gluten, and chicken hearts, which were both good! I love charcoal grilling + fresh grilling. Remember to bring cash!“
“Great dou hua/do fu fa for a great price ($3 for a large) If you want extra syrup, it's extra 25 cents. I also get the mochi stuffed with red bean or peanut, about 7 pieces for $6. You used to get 8 pieces for $6 but inflation happened. I've always wanted to try the soymilk and the fresh rice noodles. Next time, for sure. The listing says she's there until 630pm but once she sells out, she leaves, so dont expect her to be there at 6pm. I'd suggest getting there in the morning or Early afternoon if you want to be able to try everything.“

“Distinguished service...clean food, high quality of everything. The food places are wonderful and distinct, and each of the services is preventive and packaged in serving the food. Masks and gloves are changed with every order. This means prevention, washing hands and drying them very much.“

“If you’re a tourist hunting for a quick, affordable halal meal, look no further—this place has you covered. The $12 gyro platter is hands down one of the best deals you’ll find. The chicken is juicy and flavorful, the rice is perfectly cooked, and the salads and sauces just tie it all together in the best way possible. It’s filling, tasty, and easy on the wallet.
Locals, you’re seriously lucky to have this spot in your neighborhood. Everything on the platter is fresh and full of flavor, and you can tell they put care into making sure each part of the meal hits just right. Whether you're a visitor or a regular, this is the kind of place you’ll keep coming back to.“

“My visit to ToastieLand at Smorgasburg was a delightful culinary journey. The Mac and Cheese Toastie stood out with its creamy, savory flavors, perfectly complemented by the garlic, buttery bread. Service was impeccable, providing an enjoyable and efficient experience. The Lav Vanilla Lemonade was a refreshing finale to the rich, cheesy indulgence. ToastieLand is a gastronomic gem that's not to be missed, available at Williamsburg on Saturdays and Prospect Park on Sundays.“

“I'm not a chinese food expert but the sweet and sour ribs were excellent, full of flavor and delicious. The beef udon noodles were unbelievably good and I couldn't eat enough.
You have to hand it to the staff for being so attentive and quick , same to the kitchen for getting the dishes out fast.
A very enjoyable meal and prices are in line with most restaurants these days.
The only pita was the parking situation, you have to find a spot on the street or in a garage, be careful.“

“As i am eating these rice noodles, can’t express how lucky i feel finding this cart. Was looking for a close by and quick to go breakfast. The rice noodles are super smooth. Lady selling is the very down to earth kind, honest and no non-sense. I bought a large size noodle with fish balls with sauce for 2 people. Everything was steaming hot. Brings back childhood memories.
Wheelchair accessibility: Just on the street, very accessible.“

“A little window on a busy street known for its curry fish balls and rice roll. I personally liked the fish balls the best as there are much better spots to get rice rolls. There was a short line and it did take some time for my order to come out but it is worth the wait and it's fairly inexpensive.“

“Take out a piece of pancake fruit and two boxes of donkey rolling. The donkey rolling is sweet and soft. If the pancake fruit has more sweet sauce, it will be perfect. The store clerk is very friendly, but I don’t know why my donkey rolling is missing a piece😄“

“I came here expecting a similar experience to Pomme Frites and was sadly disappointed. While Frites is in the name, this establishment is focused a lot more on meals beyond just fries (like burgers). That’s not a bad thing, I was just hoping for something a little more specific. The Frites in question were okay. A little overcooked and crispy, but perfectly good enough to soak up the alcohol after a trip to nearby Sunken Harbor. The dipping sauce options were limited to a handful, but solid. The location has a few tables in the front. I wouldn’t call this a place where you would want to chill out, but it served its purpose. They also had fancy lemonades, which was a bonus.
Kid-friendliness: No reason why you couldn’t bring your child here. Just know that there isn’t a ton of seating.“
“Loved the food!! A MUST TRY for anyone!! I had the chicken+rice+salad+white sauce+hot sauce combo and it was AMAZING!! I am from Florida and never had anything like this ever there especially for the price. The food was delicious, clean and cheap too and made me full for the rest of the day. Infact, I liked it so much that I had it twice in the same day since I was in NYC only for a day and didn’t want to miss it. The owner was an amazing guy and he was generous enough to give me Falafel too. The way he talked showed his passion for food. Loved it! I wish we had this in South Florida too.“
“I don’t buy Mobile Cart food much , but this one was good . I just had a 5 min break and didn’t have time to go to a restaurant to order food . Rafiqis had no customers and quickly went and ordered. The price on Tyne right side of the truck isn’t the right amount . They increased the price and had a different rate on the front of the cart ..
Got felafel over rice .. felafel was fresh ….i actually liked their saffron rice . It was fresh and tasted good . They gave it with salad and some sauce on the top. Costed about 11$ , which isn’t bad . Quantity of rice was small but it was good enough ! My friends had lamb over rice and they liked it . Good experience overall …“

“**Mi Mexico Peqeno, Sunset Park's Hidden Gem for Pan Dulce**
This unassuming bakery in Sunset Park is a true find for lovers of authentic Mexican sweet bread. The selection of pan dulce is outstanding, with all the classics like conchas, puerquitos, and orejas, as well as more unique offerings that rotate seasonally. Everything is baked fresh daily, and the quality is evident in every bite. The conchas are perfectly soft and fluffy, with a sweet, crumbly topping. The puerquitos are rich and buttery, with a satisfying crunch. And the orejas are light and airy, with a delicate cinnamon sugar coating.
The prices are incredibly reasonable, making it easy to indulge in a variety of treats. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the bakery itself is clean and well-maintained. If you're looking for a taste of authentic Mexico in Brooklyn, this pan dulce bakery is a must-visit.“

“Amazing momos, I love the beef momos steamed personally. I find it best to steam them myself because then its steam just the right amount. If you do buy steamed momos of the truck you will likely not have to wait however, its very fast! Been going here for years and steamed over 600-800 momos so far!“
