“Cash only! (But right next to Chase ATM.) I stopped here between transferring from the E to Jamaica AirTrain before an international flight. I ordered the chicken over rice with white and red sauce. It was very tasty and I did not get sick at all during my flight!“

“We got Tostadas de Cesina, Quesadillas de Cesina and Tacos de Pollo with toppings. The presentation & taste was great, the only thing was that the food was overly salty. It was so good just couldn’t finish it. Otherwise, It’s one of the best Taco Trucks. Just giving kind feedback since we give second chances and will try the food again for a different experience. “The Peking Duck here is tasty with rich flavor and crispy skin, but the meat itself was a bit too tough and chewy, making it hard to bite through cleanly. While the seasoning and presentation were enjoyable, the texture of the duck could definitely be improved for a better dining experience.“

Beef stew with rice roll (cheung fun) 10/10
The rice roll is perfect and soft, and the beef is super soft, and covered in amazing savory sauce.

Crispy shrimp roll 9/10
This is a large dry shrimp roll but it absorbs sauce so dip it into any of the sauces or the beef stew for some incredible flavor

Crispy char siu sauce rice roll 8/10
Dense and large rice roll with some crispy texture in the middle. The meat is thin and tender.

Bbq pork with chives rice roll 8/10
Lots of flavor with pieces of BBQ pork and thin rice roll

Watercress rice roll 7/10
Thin rice roll with lots of watercress but not a ton of flavor.

Curry fish ball w/ rice roll (cheung fun) 7/10
The curry flavor is weak and the fish balls are basic“

“Came with my boyfriend whos been here multiple times and said it was delicious, and he wasn’t wrong. We got chicken, squid, chinese sausage, ricecake, shrimp, and beef skewers that were ALL amazing. HIGHLY recommend the spicy powder on any skewer you order. I have low tolerance for spice, but it was just a small kick for a couple seconds. I will be coming here way more often, I found my favorite food spot for late night snacks.“

“This flatbread spot offers a variety of Chinese flatbreads. You can choose the filling, and they have options between sweet and savory ones. I got one of their beef fillings and thought that it was good! Although I wish that they could have more meat inside of the flatbread, I thought that the seasoning overall was good and I liked it. Would love to come back to try their other flatbreads, especially their sweet ones.“

“I went to Tacos El Idolo at about 2:30 am last night while waiting for my friend to get off of work. The truck was unassuming and simple, which was a good sign. I ordered a chicken tostada, a taco arabe, and a carne asada taco. I asked for extra green salsa and the staff happily gave it to me. I ate everything two blocks away outside of Wonderville on top of a city trash can. It was pretty good!

I was surprised as a San Diego native, since I’m used to pretty exceptional Mexican food in Tijuana and the border area. My favorite items were the chicken tostada and carne asada taco. If you’re in the area, they serve until 5 am!“

“Jianbing was so so so good! We just got the top-of-the-menu recommended on, but their options are very diverse and interesting. To-go only, but well wrapped. Some cold noddle options, beef patties. Quite nice and made right in front of you.

“I still think about this guys gyro. My wife and I stopped at the pizza place across the street and I wanted to try this guys food. My wife and I shared gyro and fries. The hot sauce, the meat, the tzatziki, the lettuce, the tomatoes, everything so fresh, and the taste. Who would think 5 years later this is still the best we have ever had. On top of it all his service and kind smile was so genuine. Absolute 5 star food. Loved it and can’t wait to try again!“

“Despite some people saying quality went down, I got two platters and I enjoyed them a lot. Chapli, Kofta, and chicken was really good and well seasoned. The rice was fluffy and tasted fine, nothing too crazy. The sauces stood out and were very good and felt very refreshing.“

I’ve tried halal carts from LES, UES, UWS, Flat Iron, Financial District, 53rd and 6th, Astoria, Bayside, etc, and I still come back to Shah’s. I moved to Florida 6 years ago and when I come back to visit family, you bet I’m paying a visit to Shah’s.“

“I visited the Potala Fresh Food truck. These are my favorite momo in the city! The momo are so fresh and juicy you have to lean over the container or plate when you eat them, it’s that juicy! I typically get the beef but they have chicken and other varieties as well. I love that you can also order them frozen if you need a large amount for a home event.“

We eat a LOT of halal cart food, and Abdul offers some of the best we’ve had. If you’re in the area (or flying out of JFK and have some extra time), it’s worth a small detour.“

“I love the j*** pork with the rice and peas. Eating the rice along with the spicy j*** pork together in your mouth is so tasty. Also dipping the spicy pork in the Barbecue sauce and then into j*** sauce , puts a cosmic comic blast of flavor in your mouth and not in your hand.“

“I've witnessed these guys get pricier and pricier but that still doesn't stop me from coming. At this point I've tried everything on their menu but I honestly just keep coming back for the tostadas and the tacos. They're probably the best to go spot in the area. The lady (wearing glasses) always gives me an extra dumpling when I buy a large order! “They serve the temple food :) they know what vegan is, the dumpling and the cabbage bun I get is fully vegan no egg and no dairy :)

Although it's a cart, it feels like a neighborhood restaurant where you walk by and say hi and are greeted by smiles. This Is thr best chicken over rice and gyros in the area.
