“I only had a plain slice here, and while it isn't quite my style, it’s worth a try. I see why people like the pizza. The sauce is heavily applied and has loads of sugar in it, making it a bit too sweet for my taste. The cheese has that familiar, slightly plastic texture, but because it’s loaded with so much sauce and cheese, it's definitely a 'juicy' slice. My main critique is that the toppings weren't spread out enough to the edges, leaving the crust a bit dry. That said, the crust itself is decent. On the plus side, the staff was fast and friendly, and the vintage atmosphere looks really cool. I’d definitely go back to try some other items off the menu.“

“We dropped by Ace's Pizza around 3pm., Brooklyn, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, 5th Ave NYC and it was such a great experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating—amazing service all around. We ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Caesar Salad, and a 14-inch Pepperoni Pizza. Every single item was delicious! The quality of the food was outstanding. The pepperoni pizza especially stood out—crispy crust, flavorful toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. We really enjoyed everything we ordered, and the overall vibe of the place made the experience even better. Highly recommended if you’re in the area and craving great pizza!“

“Ordered two pizzas. Pizza crusts were spot on and tasty...overall some good pizzas. The sauce though.
A previous review mentioned the sauce was sweet but that they probably don't add sugar to their tomato sauce. I would disagree with that assumption. Half way through the pizza ... The sweetness kinda took over for me. And that's just a personal preference maybe?

Service was cold and not the friendliest.
The set up itself was decent enough and clean... They had some latin music playing which was ok.

I'm not sure I'd come back if I was in New York next. If you enjoy sweet pizza sauce you'll love this place because the crust was really good :) Just the sweetness of the sauce was not to my taste.“

“First-time visiting Giacomo's Pizza and Restaurant and I am thoroughly impressed! The place has such a cozy, authentic vibe, and the pizzas are absolutely top-notch. I tried their Meat Lovers pizza, and it was loaded with fresh toppings and perfectly cooked. The garlic knots on the side were buttery and amazing. The staff made the whole experience wonderful with their friendliness and attention. Already planning my next visit!“

“Our server Christian was super attentive, and patient. While my partner has been here before, this was my first time. We ordered drinks and entrees. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the Mac & Cheese was very cheesy! The glasses for the water were chilled, which was a very nice touch!

Also, I don't eat pork! The spaghetti bolognese only had beef, which was amazing, as so many places include pork. So, for those who don't eat pork, come here!

The atmosphere was very chilled & the music was a great volume - not too loud but loud enough that we were able to have a conversation and it still feel private.

“It really is some of the best pizza in NYC. You can taste the effort that goes into every pie, and the crust is immaculate. I've gone twice and waited maybe eight minutes in line at most and the staff were very nice and friendly (and enjoyed the little VHS TV in the corner while my order was cooking). Honestly if you are in the area at all it is fully worth it, haters be damned“

“I’ll give 5 stars because I want them to stay in business !!!! But they need to change something.
*****IT USED TO BE 5 STARS*****, I used to go at night all the time when the dude that didn’t speak English worked there. But now for the last few months, he’s gone, and the pizza was NOT GOOD the last 3 times I went over the last couple months. Only at night I have eaten here. So i couldn’t tell you about the daytime.

In restaurant business, things need to be consistent, too bad no restaurants are really like this. Because people change up all the time. One little thing can change A LOT in food prep/cooking. I know. I’ve been in restaurant business for 10+ years… hope you guys can fix whatever was wrong with the pizza. I miss it lol“

“Loved it here! Just stopped in at the spur of the moment and I am so glad I did! Felt like I was in a Manhattan Bar! Eva the bartender was great and so was the rest of the staff. Felt like I was with friends.“

“Got the VCR 16 pie. The Cesar salad with chicken cutlet and parm garlic bread sticks. Pizza was definitely above average a smash between old world and modern style. Thin crust but not to thin. Bread sticks were classic the side garlic butter sauce is a nice complement.

The Cesar salad is as advertised incredible. 100% recommend. Dressing and cheese is perfect.
On 4 stars for service because they didnt have to go utensils at all, even when asked.

The restaurant held ~70 guests comfortably, the food was delicious, the servers were very kind and attentive, and our contact at the restaurant was incredibly responsive and easy to work with leading up to the event. We would recommend this space to anyone looking for a private event space! Or for a yummy bite to eat in the neighborhood.“

Not there, not at the mobile gas station and not at the Key Foods grocery store with the rude security guard. You see people urinate on the street and I can't blame them. So grab a nice friendly slice but save the drink order for a place with a restroom that requires purchase.“

This beautiful, mouth-watering golden appetizer was light and airy and piled high with a fresh lemon wedge and dipping sauce to add to the experience. The pasta was al dente and lightly seasoned, and was topped with moist, delicious slices of tender grilled chicken. “I was in town for a day and didn’t realize there was a manhattan location but wanted to try them so bad I travelled 40 mins to Brooklyn and it was SO WORTH IT! They even gave me an extra slice 🥹 I did the sweet Thai chili oxtail and the brown stew oxtail pizza and it was so good even the crust was delicious on its own! I see why this place went viral now!
