The food and service was next level - reminding us of what you’d experience in NYC. “The food was soooo delicious. My husband I were cwlebrating our 6th Anniversary and had a WeekDay Luncheon Date. Totally Superb down to the very last drop. We ate every buttery morsel. We each had the Grilled Salmon, Lobster and Shrimp Trio with Mashed potatoes loaded with Lobster Sauce on top and a side of their broccolli which was insanely delicious!!! “We had a Mothers Day celebration Sunday at this fabulous seafood restaurant. There were 15 of us- 9 adults and six children between 5 and 12. We traveled an hour to get there. The food was delicious- fresh, tasty and the portions were so large that everyone took a doggy bag home. It was served by a great staff including Angel who was our server. The owner, Donna, was very cordial and friendly. Everyone had a great time. We can't wait for our next family dinner to return. This is a must restaurant if you are a seafood lover!!“

“Dinner was great. When the waiter came to take our order we wanted to just order the appetizers and then continue to figure out what we wanted for dinner and we were told we had to place the entire order together. We have been here many times and never had to do that before so we had to quickly figure out our meal so we could get some food. The food is always good we were a party of five. We hope they change the way they require the entire order together be placed.“

“Fabulous lunch menu with equally fabulous taste and wait service. What a pleasant surprise dining at The Purple Elephant. I ordered the steak tacos and could not believe how delicious they were. Outstanding menu choices. My friend ordered the shrimp tacos and was equally pleased. We were too full for dessert but did look at the menu and each item looked better than the next. Great view of the Britannia Marina as well. Armand was our waiter and he could not have been more attentive and friendly. We will be back!!!“

The food is outstanding, compliments to the chief!! Also, I would like to comment on our waitress, Kim, who is terrific!!! She was so attentive to all our requests, took care of us all night. Also, the manager is a real gentleman, and he also made us feel comfortable and special. “My husband and I have been eating here pretty much once a week for almost 20 years. We usually get take out and create our own in home date night. By far the freshest and most delicious sushi we’ve ever had. Period. They keep the menu very clean, as opposed to other places we’ve tried where everything is caked in sauce and all just taste the same. You will not be disappointed.
Favorites: Alan roll, Peter roll (as for extra sauce on the side), Cooper roll (not on the menu but was on their old menu. You can still ask for it) and the deep impact.“

“Small little pupuseria, the pupusas are delicious, great sauce and Cole slaw, they come hot, they are perfectly cooked, and their eggs and egg sandwiches are great as well. The food is clean, delicious, and the pupusas are quite authentic. whenever I have gone there, most of the customers are Spanish speaking and that gives me confidence in their authenticity. The people that work the counter are very friendly, accommodating, and they speak Spanish and English perfectly. The have ready made food and counter service but the kitchen food is cooked upon order. perfect place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.“

“Awesome place, clean and customer friendly. The supermarket/restaurant has a variety of fresh fish which you can ask the staff to have them cook it for you. In my case, i asked them to cook the Dora fish which was very tasty. You can aslo ask for side dishes to go with it, i had fried plantains. The restaurant portion also had a variety of Latin dishes (Colombian, Peruvian etc) which are also fresh and so tasty. I had the black rice mixed with seafood (shrimp, calamari and pieces of fried fish)“

And Josh, our server… WOW. On point the entire night. He anticipated every need — mine and all of our guests. Water glasses were never empty, drinks were always refreshed, and anytime I had a question or even needed the temperature adjusted, he was right there with a smile and a solution.
