“What a wonderful find in Smithtown. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. The seafood pasta was loaded with fresh mussels, shrimp, and calamari, while the baked stuffed mushrooms were rich and savory.

Everything was presented beautifully. I particularly loved the vibrant touch of fresh herbs sprinkled over all the plates. It made the entire meal feel that much more special.

We topped off our evening with a refreshing, perfectly chilled cocktail garnished with a lime slice. The atmosphere is lovely and the service was just as great as the food. I will definitely be back.“

“Last Wednesday I was at Davis vision works and we walk to the restaurant for lunch whem we get the we were standing up for almost 15 minutes waiting for someone to give us a table. finally whem someone come to us and without asking if we need a table rigth away he say is was 15 mint wait, me while the restaurant wasn't even packed it was a lot of table empty and even like that he was going to make us to wait more. really bad service and rude attention. we have money to pay it wasn't like we were asking for a free table. people are really racist at this place. I don't recommend“

“The food was soooo delicious. My husband I were cwlebrating our 6th Anniversary and had a WeekDay Luncheon Date. Totally Superb down to the very last drop. We ate every buttery morsel. We each had the Grilled Salmon, Lobster and Shrimp Trio with Mashed potatoes loaded with Lobster Sauce on top and a side of their broccolli which was insanely delicious!!! “I can not believe that this restaurant has been here on Main Street in Port Jefferson Village for over 20 years and I never ate there!!! This is my new Favorite place to eat. The food was exceptional and good size portions. The pita bread they put out on the table was so delicious I could have made that my meal. The service was extremely attentive and so personable. The food and service was next level - reminding us of what you’d experience in NYC. Our guests raved about their duck entree, their boeuf bourguignon pot pie was outstanding, the oysters were fresh and delicious, great craft cocktails, and outstanding waitstaff. “We had a Mothers Day celebration Sunday at this fabulous seafood restaurant. There were 15 of us- 9 adults and six children between 5 and 12. We traveled an hour to get there. The food was delicious- fresh, tasty and the portions were so large that everyone took a doggy bag home. It was served by a great staff including Angel who was our server. The owner, Donna, was very cordial and friendly. Everyone had a great time. We can't wait for our next family dinner to return. This is a must restaurant if you are a seafood lover!!“

From the moment we walked through the door on a busy Saturday night at 7:00pm we walk in simply based on a great name! The hostess Deanna was lovely and welcoming we were able to sit right away! The food was absolutely amazing and so were the drinks!! But the star of the show was the staff our waitress Emily was the best we have ever had! Just the right amount of attentive that we never looked for her and always felt taking care up. The busser also did an amazing job never a dirty plate on our table. We go out alot and I can’t remember the last time a restaurant covered it all flawlessly Service drinks and food. We have already texted friend excited to bring them here! “BEST TACOS ON THE NORTH SHORE. We stumbled into Ditch solely by chance and we are so happy we did. It’s a breath of fresh air for a rather stale Main Street in PJ. Very beachy vibes, feels more south shore LI than snobby north shore which is probably why I love it so much. The menu has a little bit of everything and everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. We ordered tacos, five different tacos so we could try a bit of everything. From the perfect corn tortilla to the pineapple toppings, everything was fresh and delicious. The owner Tracy came over to welcome us to his new spot and express his gratitude for giving the new spot a chance. Our server Brennan was working a busy lunch shift mostly solo and he still delivered a top notch experience. Very happy with our new discovery and we can’t wait to go back!“

“My husband and i have been regular customers for many years of catfish Annies and we just found out they make lobster rolls yummy, we use to go to port Jefferson cause we know of a great place that has them.so today we ordered 2 to go that we were surprise that for $26.99 and you get either fries or their delicious seafood bisque soup we felt this was a good price. let me tell you they give you plenty of lobster and it is so delicious, i am glad to see that we have a place closer to home that we can go. Any meal I had there was excellent. The service is impeccable. The atmosphere is family oriented. So it is like having a hug with dinner. I like that appetizers, soup, salad, main meal are brought out in steps. That way you can enjoy the courses. This has been my favorite spot to eat since last summer. Had taken my family members there. Me and one of my good friends go there all the time. My first time there, they made me mocktails that I requested. They were great.

And here is a secret...It was affordable. The food was incredible and plentiful. Great Chefs. Another secret...add the raw oyster station. We went with 100% out of doors and it was spectacular. Fits 100 easily. Places for shade and sun and a great gazebo for the ceremony. We can't recommend it more. We did our wedding but this could have been a 50th birthday just as easily. Another secret is bring your own acoustic player for the music. We had a friend play and it really set the mood for the day. So, The View in Oakdale is a perfect spot to start a life together, party for someone reaching a milestone or hell, just a great happy hour with friends on the water.“

The food is outstanding, compliments to the chief!! Also, I would like to comment on our waitress, Kim, who is terrific!!! She was so attentive to all our requests, took care of us all night. Also, the manager is a real gentleman, and he also made us feel comfortable and special. Without a doubt, this is the best steak restaurant on the Island, we have been to most of the upscale restaurants here and we rate this the best. “My 9 year old had decompression and a duraplasty surgery at the beginning of the month. When we were discharged from PEDS ICU, claws was the first meal he requested. We absolutely love the lobster bisque. The lobsters rolls are so chunky and delicious. The crab cakes are divine. Now I’m starving. Thanks. lol“
