“My wife Donna and I just enjoyed a fabulous Valentines Day dinner at Downtown Cafe. We have enjoyed Graziano's culinary artistry for 30 years now, (since the days of Mary Ps), and he just keeps getting better. My wife had the shortribs, and I had the sushi grade tuna with mushrooms and we enjoyed every bite. The service and atmosphere are the best. I would highly recommend the Downtown Cafe for a delicious, relaxing meal and great hometown atmosphere.“

“Came here not familiar or by a recommendation just looked up restaurants in Kingston and took a chance. Everyone at our table got something different and the dishes were cooked to perfection. The calamari was so tender and the Buffalo sauce to go with it was a nice change. John was our waiter and when we come back we are requesting him. He was always knowledgeable and accommodating. Had to put this review in and will be coming back“

“I used to look forward to eating there. But the last two times I had the worst servers. One never came back to check after she dropped off my food. I had wanted a soda refill and another napkin, had to find her to get my check. Last night I came in and was told the kitchen was about to close so I needed to hurry up (I just sat down at about 9:25 pm). I ordered right away. An ice water and a coke and a meatball parm sub. I was lucky to get my soda with her attitude. No ice water was brought or acknowledged at all. I took a few bites of my food and she asked if I wanted a box. I was really irritated. If they told me to go only I would have been fine. But the way I was handled made me angry. I ate quickly and left. If I choose to get something again , it will be to go. Honestly, Caitlyn is the best server there. She is five stars. The others are not worth a dime.“

“If you love eggplant, this is your spot! Not deep fried with so much breading that you can't taste the eggplant! Sauce is plentiful with the dish, and salad is fresh with an amazing house garlic dressing! My second time here and it did not disappoint!!“
