“My wife Donna and I just enjoyed a fabulous Valentines Day dinner at Downtown Cafe. We have enjoyed Graziano's culinary artistry for 30 years now, (since the days of Mary Ps), and he just keeps getting better. My wife had the shortribs, and I had the sushi grade tuna with mushrooms and we enjoyed every bite. The service and atmosphere are the best. I would highly recommend the Downtown Cafe for a delicious, relaxing meal and great hometown atmosphere.“

“It’s a lovely place with a very kind staff! They check up on us often and kindly explain everything. The food was tasty and the portions were very generous. There were several errors on the menu, that the staff seemed to know about but have not fixed and never mentioned when we were ordering. It made it trickier to order because the information was not correct or was confusing.“

“I used to look forward to eating there. But the last two times I had the worst servers. One never came back to check after she dropped off my food. I had wanted a soda refill and another napkin, had to find her to get my check. Last night I came in and was told the kitchen was about to close so I needed to hurry up (I just sat down at about 9:25 pm). I ordered right away. An ice water and a coke and a meatball parm sub. I was lucky to get my soda with her attitude. No ice water was brought or acknowledged at all. I took a few bites of my food and she asked if I wanted a box. I was really irritated. If they told me to go only I would have been fine. But the way I was handled made me angry. I ate quickly and left. If I choose to get something again , it will be to go. Honestly, Caitlyn is the best server there. She is five stars. The others are not worth a dime.“

“Amazing food . If you’re looking for fresh delicious food then check out this place. We had the Arthur Ave salad , Chicken Milanese , the carbonara , the tiramisu and the mocha latte. All I can say is WOW 🤩 . Left with full bellies . The mocha latte was the best latte I ever had. The rest of the food was so fresh you will leave feeling full but not that gross full feeling . Will definitely be coming back to try something else !“

“If you love eggplant, this is your spot! Not deep fried with so much breading that you can't taste the eggplant! Sauce is plentiful with the dish, and salad is fresh with an amazing house garlic dressing! My second time here and it did not disappoint!!“

“I was just eating pizza, and it reminded me of something that happened two months ago. There was a pizza place near the hotel where I stayed overnight before taking a fall foliage cruise, so I went there for dinner. The crust of the pizza I ate there was incredibly delicious. I think it was probably the best pizza crust I've ever had. Every time I eat pizza at home now, I think of the taste of that pizza crust. ^^“
