“I always order to go... Angela's is a hit or miss pizza parlor for many years and at times that same history pops up. Food is decent and delivery is hit or miss.
Maybe it is better to pick up the food so you can check to see how it is,but to go and delivery is never the same.“

Our server Ally was knowledgeable and very personable ..on her recommendation we started with a house-made ginger rosemary non alcoholic drink ..wow ! Then we had oysters and the prosciutto and figs ..both were excellent ..our mains were the mushroom and asparagus over pasta and the smoked pork chop on polenta ..OUTSTANDING . Ally was attentive without being intrusive .. The manager stopped by to thank us for coming in . All the staff seem happy and effective ..great space , lovely vibe . we drove 75 min for the meal and it was well worth it ., HIGHLY RECOMMEND“

“Another great visit to Sharkie’s in Woodstock! We always make it a point to eat here, and it somehow keeps getting better. Stopped in for meatballs and wine while waiting for takeout, loved it so much we stayed an extra day just to come back for meatball subs. Mark is such a warm, genuine owner, and Sharkie’s is truly a safe, welcoming place for all. Bonus: we grabbed frozen meatballs as Christmas gifts and love that they can be delivered now. We have enjoyed Graziano's culinary artistry for 30 years now, (since the days of Mary Ps), and he just keeps getting better. My wife had the shortribs, and I had the sushi grade tuna with mushrooms and we enjoyed every bite. The service and atmosphere are the best. I would highly recommend the Downtown Cafe for a delicious, relaxing meal and great hometown atmosphere.“

“I used to look forward to eating there. But the last two times I had the worst servers. One never came back to check after she dropped off my food. I had wanted a soda refill and another napkin, had to find her to get my check. Last night I came in and was told the kitchen was about to close so I needed to hurry up (I just sat down at about 9:25 pm). I ordered right away. An ice water and a coke and a meatball parm sub. I was lucky to get my soda with her attitude. No ice water was brought or acknowledged at all. I took a few bites of my food and she asked if I wanted a box. I was really irritated. If they told me to go only I would have been fine. But the way I was handled made me angry. I ate quickly and left. If I choose to get something again , it will be to go. Honestly, Caitlyn is the best server there. She is five stars. The others are not worth a dime.“

“My husband and I took a little day trip from Albany today with no real destination in mind, besides checking out Samuels Sweet Shop. As we drove through town, your restaurant caught our eye! After asking the sweet clerk at Sam’s how your food was, we decided to have lunch on her suggestion. And we are so glad we did! The interior of the restaurant is very nice and it was so warm and cozy as we entered. Your staff were wonderful. We each had a drink… I had a Bellini and he chose a beer. Our server was nice enough to look up the brewery his beer was from for us too (nice added touch that he didn’t have to do) We started our meal with calamari. The breading was so delicious and not heavy and the pineapple dipping sauce was a tasty surprise. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich and he opted for steak. My chicken was the perfect blend of hot and sweet and so good. My husband’s steak was perfectly and we both enjoyed the horseradish sauce it was served with. Both served with your homemade shoestring fries. Both, so good! We had a lovely time sitting and conversing. Your waitstaff checking in just enough to make sure we were taken care of and not pushy to get us out. Overall we loved it! We can’t wait to come back in warm weather and try your outdoor seating. I wish I had gotten our servers name, as he deserves the kudos for being so pleasant!“

Gigi's continues to surprise me by expanding seasonally, each year with new, delicious, and varied menu items. They keep the local faves like the Barbina salad, Bianca skizza, and truffle fries, to name a few, but add intriguing and tantalizing menu items each season. I find it consistent and compared to the places we usually go to dinners like “Annarella Ristorante” also 5 stars, they are much lower cost / different category. I also appreciate the old-school feel. This restaurant isn’t trying to be something they are not and I like that about it.“

I normally don’t drink margaritas. The guacamole was so fresh! Delicious! My husband and daughter loved the calamari! My husband got the Casa Villa Seafood, he was in heaven! The portions were large we left with two bags of food. The staff from start to finish were really impeccable! 10 out of 10. We will be returning!“

The dumplings were really disappointing given you have Yum Yum noodle bars across the street which are consistently amazing. Drinks were good, food was less than average , bar service was less than average for the Hudson River Valley.“

But my curiosity got best of me.... this plaza looked familiar.. Then I saw Fanns on side of building . I remember my friend got his first couch from Fanns Furniture back in 1990. Funny thing couch never made it to his new apartment he moved into... he had it in back of his pickup.. and on way back to Croton. We got stuck in a tremendous thunderstorm.. cover blew off the couch.. and by the time we got to his apartment his couch was ruined... Fanns refused to take it back.... so we just thru the couch in the Dumpster at his apartment..
