Ever. Burgers are out of this world as well as the home made fries. Treat yourself it’s the best. I requested the genuine apple strudel for dessert( not canned apples or some oily dough ) , hope that comes to fruition.“

Margie's has one of THE best burgers I have ever had in my entire life and that says a lot because I consider myself a sandwich/burger connoisseur. It's so simple and I believe that's what makes the burger shine. Paired with the atmosphere and the beach town vibes, it's hard for me to go anywhere else when I'm in need of a good burger. The other things I've tried on the menu didn't disappoint but I showed up for a burger and it stole the show for me. My compliments to the chef or recipe creator...whomever.“

Our beautiful table was in the perfect spot to take in all of what the Rockaway Hotel has to offer. The outside bar and Pool house are exquisite. The pool was bustling with excitement. Our waiter, Andrew, was polite and helpful . I highly recommend coming to The Rockaway Hotel because their staff is highly professional and attentive.“

This year I decided to give the excellent and highly favored family cooking team a break and had Austin’s Ale House cater our Christmas Dinner. I went with the ham dinner for 10 to feed 7 people🤣. The ordering was done with ease and so was the pick up. The family did a preliminary tasting...... LOVED .IT and whatever we have left after the “taste test” will have to serve as our Christmas Dinner. Since the taste test was so aggressive we may need to supplement what’s left with a few cheese omelets 🤣. We enjoyed it so much there was much talk about it becoming the new family tradition. Secondly, the food was amazing, I got an appetizer platter and my three choices were waffle fries, mozzarella sticks and buffalo wings. Our sauces were lime chipotle salsa, ranch and marinara sauce. The food was amazing and the sauce multiplied the flavor of the appetizer. Our entrees were delicious, we got a south west chicken bowl and a grilled cheeseburger respectively. “A true hidden gem of a restaurant, with spacious open seatings, amazing interior lighting and decorations, polite and super curteous staff / manager, a unique delicious seasonal menu, and Very Very competetive priced dinner menu.

I ordered wood grilled kona lamb. The dish was prepared to perfection, well served and delicious.
Considering the location and area, if you are seeking a classy restaurant with amazing atmosphere, seasonal delicious menu, and yummy choices then I highly, highly recomend this restaurant.
And don't miss out on their shot glass, gorgeous desert menu.

She was funny pleasant and took care of us. Long story short, after great apps and drinks, paid the bill and left…I dropped a $50 out of my pocket after I paid and left and was only 2 store fronts down and she came after me telling me you dropped a bill and gave it back. You don’t see this honestly often anymore. Kudos to her and Rove deserves her as an employee.“
