Tonight, I requested a menu item that had been tweaked, as they constantly evolve their offerings to keep new and exciting dishes at the forefront. When I asked for it, they didn’t hesitate or give the usual “not sure we can” response—which would have been understandable, especially since the place was packed. Instead, I was assured they would do their best, and if it couldn’t be made, it would be personally explained to me. Adrienne, who made this possible and is essentially the director of the restaurant, bars, and lounge—a demanding role, especially on a busy day—went above and beyond, and I am so thankful to her. The dish was fantastically prepared, and I deeply appreciate both the food and the service. Bradley and others also stopped by to say hello and see if there was anything else they could help with. “Things started out on a bad note as the location in Open Table is incorrect. We didn't discover this until after we had already parked and paid event parking rates only to discover we were over a mile from the actual destination. We moved the car to a different lot and had to pay a second event rate fee. We were originally seated at stools at a counter top directly under a speaker. I'm not sure what the purpose of a reservation is for if we weren't to be seated at a table. We requested to be moved and were seated at a table in the far corner - still better than the stool. From there everything went up- the service the food and the drinks were wonderful. I had the lobster roll, the portion was huge and delicious. The Turfboard was a meal on its own even split between two people. Our server was fast and checked on us regularly. Minus the sting of unnecessarily paying $45 for parking and the confusing seating - I really enjoyed the evening.“

“We visited Turtle Jacks while on vacation. The food was excellent, but two servers that were in the place were not nice and did not want to serve us. Until Jen who was amazing. We sat there for 30 minutes and the two servers kept walking pass us like we didn't exist. At that point my husband and I were getting ready to walk out until Jen came over, she apologized for the delay and service. She gave us the BEST service ever. She went above and beyond ! “Enjoyed an excellent dinner tonight at Savor. Food was delicious-there were four of us—two of us had the pork chop and the other two had the Swiss burger. Well prepared, juicy, tasty. Would have again. The $30 prix fixe dinner offers appetizer (we had the crab cake and the goat cheese and quinoa salad), main course and dessert (all excellent). Student/servers did a great job. “We had dinner at your restaurant this past Monday, and the view from our window table overlooking the falls was spectacular. The service was so good. Our server Nitsa was attentive to our needs and checked with the kitchen when my niece (who is a vegetarian) asked to make sure the chowder was made without bacon or chicken broth. We appreciate that Nitsa made the effort to ensure my niece enjoyed her meal. I was a little surprised that the menu that we were given did not match the menu posted on the website. I was looking forward to the ravioli, but it wasn’t listed. And it was probably my error, but I didn’t understand that if I wanted vegetables, I had to order an additional side. My meal of just chicken and potatoes seemed a little lacking, but the meal was very good.“

“Wow, this establishment is a far cry away from the pirate bar it used to be back five some odd years ago. We came here from Hamilton for a new years dinner. Had the place to ourselves, it was nice. A gentleman, by the name of Harmeet owns this establishment. Very friendly gentleman, very inviting, greeted us and told us about the food and displayed a passion for his food unlike any I've seen before. He makes most his food and all his sauces from scratch. Things like the fries and mozzarella sticks he gets in bulk, but he ensures a quality provider. The mozza sticks had that nice gooey stringy stretch to them. The fries were the first hint this meal was going to be good. Well seasoned and crunchy, done just right. My brother's girlfriend had them in a poutine and the serving was very generous, definitely fill you up to the max with one order. She was very happy with this dish. My brother had the parm chicken sandwich and I had the Nashville Chicken sandwich. The chicken patty was perfect, so juicy. The Nashville wasn't your traditional style sandwich (usually garnished with coleslaw, pickles, and tossed in Nashville sauce) it had the seasoning dry rubbed on, I think there was a sauce to it, but the chicken was so juicy it really didn't need much. It was topped with a slice cheddar, lettuce, onions, and I think there was tomato, but I'm not sure. It was so good it was gone before I had time to really analyze it lol. The key take away from this meal was my wifes chicken wings... Of anywhere we have ever had wings, these by far were the best we have ever had. The breading was thin and not overwhelming, good meat content too. Generous saucing (she got the honey hot), and they are also marinated to boot, absolutely phenomenal. Harneet has a skill for his homemade sauces, he let me try his dynamite sauce (which for most people I would say is at the top of their tolerance for hot sauce, he also has hotter), but the ballance of sweet to heat is perfect. I can not stay enough about how good this food was. The place doubles as a convenience store, so its very unassuming. This place is on the route for one of my favorite motorcycle routes, so I will be back 100%. Thank you for serving me, and the outstanding dining experience.“

The decor was plain(who Cares) and the clientele consisted of mostly workers on lunch break. The waitress took our order and then brought us a cup of soup and a slice of garlic toast..very delicious. We both ordered the Pastrami sandwich which came with either a salad or French fries. The waitress brought out our sandwiches and to say I was surprised would be an understatement. The sandwich was huge with a hefty helping of fries. It was served with a cup of Russian dressing for dipping. I came away from here with a full stomach and a new go to restaurant for future lunches and dinner. Here comes the best part though… this was all for the ridiculous low price of $10.00 per meal. “If you want good food in a relaxed atmosphere David's 716 is the place. I meet my brother & sis in law there & we enjoy good food and chit chat, never feeling rushed, thanks to a very nice staff. We've always enjoyed our food no matter what we've ordered! It is a sports bar with giant tv's around but you're not shouting over them to talk. The bar is separated by a low wall from the dining area & of course you can enjoy beverage or 2 from there. Stop in sometime maybe, Taco Tuesday, & enjoy a delicious giant taco!“

We went for my daughter's birthday this year and last, last year we loved it so she wanted to go back this year for her birthday after her cheer comp! We had to send my sons chicken fingers back, they were so hard they were very very tough to eat. I couldn't even chew them let alone trying to give them to my 2 year old. Server took care of them and they were way better! I got the Messi chicken sandwich and I'm not even sure what was on the bottom of the chicken (possibly cheese) but it was literally burnt to a crisp that I had to send it back. I felt so bad but it wasn't edible! The 2nd time it came out it looked way better, and definitely tasted better! Mike was our server who we had last year and he was great both times!“

“The food was great and the service was spectacular! Bill is very attentive and provided us with many activities to do even though it’s not tourist season right now. The locals that were there were also very nice and helpful. They even gave us sleds to take with us so that we could go sledding! The atmosphere is one that makes you want to stay for a long time.
