“The staff were polite, patient and welcoming. The woman working was very patient and helpful to help me pick my order. The food was great; there’s nothing I could nit-pick about it. Food was fresh, hot, tasty. I ordered this fried chicken cutlet with rice combination platter. But to be honest, I’m convinced whatever I ordered was gonna taste great and fresh. The vibe was relaxed and cozy. Easy 5/5, you got great people making great food.“

“OMG!! I stumbled upon this hidden gem;
I was first greeted with a very welcoming approach so, asked for a recommendation and was not disappointed. I ordered the Braised Beef Noodle Soup. It was so delicious and yummy. I give this noodle house a 10 out of 10. I’m definitely coming back, and you should try it too.“

“Overall, thought the food was mediocre. Was not traditional taiwanese food and i thought i could be better. got the fried pork chop over rice, flavor was there but it was just too oily. the popcorn chicken over noodle was very bland, the beef noodles were pretty ok, but not traditional. I would give this place a 3.5 stars but i rounded up to a 4. The ambiance here is pretty good and the service is quick and efficient so that’s a 5 for me. food was a 3 star. would not come back probably as this was not very wowing. just go inside tangram and you’ll probably have something more satisfying.“

“In terms of Taiwanese street food they have the best taste in NYC. Even though it’s suppose to be street food but their food are made very delicately and the owners deeply care about making them taste superior. It’s also a family owned business, beginning with the father who is already a chef in Tainan, he brought the most authentic taste of Taiwan to America with a lifetime worth of experience and skills. The restaurant is small but atmosphere is super chill and the staff are very friendly.“

“The Stinky Tofu is my new favorite here!! The minced pork over rice was pretty good but portions are small. Not a fan of there Intestines, Oyster Thin Noodles!!! Service was pretty good, most of the staff are all Taiwanese which is cool!! Ambiance was nice!! They only take cash!!“

“I don’t typically like bubble tea I find it too sweet and the tapioca too rubbery. This place is the platonic ideal of bubble tea. It is absolute perfection! Get their original you won’t regret it. We ordered two to split for 4 of us and we had to go back an order two more because they were just so good!!! They have lactaid milk and organic milk as an option.“

“I came in to get a TGTG order, I got 3 bubble teas and they tasted great! It was my first time trying bubble tea. The staff is nice and the store has a nice environment, their food looks great too so I'll definitely come back another time to order food and try some more drink flavours.“

“I traveled from Chile on vacation and I wanted to eat takoyaki since I can't find it here, I really liked it, the sauce is very good, it combines well with the bonito and the octopus, the only thing is 2 things: the food court in the mall is somewhat difficult to get to xDDD and I would make the takoyaki a little smaller, the rest was very good“

“My sister and I have been to this place and ordered oyster pancake, beef noodle soup, stinky tofu, and others. The food and service were fantastic and yummy. The atmosphere was that there were lots of people because it is part of a mall food court on the bottom level.“

“We ordered mostly noodle soup dishes, and they were flavorful in my opinion. They have 8 different types of noodles you can choose, and they have a little display that shows each type of noodle. Unfortunately, they do not have an official website, and their menu does not show it either, which would be helpful. The portions were not huge, but neither were the prices. Nice atmosphere inside; not too big and looked clean.“

“I’m not exactly sure what I got but it’s a pork chop set and comes with soda or soup. There are two styles of meat. One being the deep fried sausage, and the other is caramelized pork chop with bone and with out bone (they break down the pork chop for you into bite size), also comes with a tea egg and various types of veggies (string beans, egg plant, zucchini, broccoli, carrots, and pickled radish). $14 cant beat it, it’s 2 meals in one. Over all the dish is great! Savory, sweet and salty, nothing is over powering, it’s very well balanced. Nothing is too oily, white rice will not get soggy ! Mine was pre made sitting in the heat box and it was still fresh and tasted amazing !“

“The two of us ordered large portions of milk mochi snowflake ice. We couldn't finish the extra large portion. We should have ordered the medium portion. We chose full sugar. The syrup and condensed milk were very sweet, but the middle was still a bit tasteless. place. The ingredients are not very sweet in comparison. There are four ingredients: mochi, taro balls, aiyu and glutinous rice balls, which are quite rich. There are two floors with seating. The layout on the second floor is very elegant and the environment is not bad.“

“Having just returned from the vibrant streets of Taiwan, my taste buds were still singing with the authentic flavors I experienced. I was honestly a little skeptical about finding anything that could truly compare back home, but this place absolutely blew me away!
From the first bite, it was clear that this isn't your average street food. There's a noticeable elevation in the quality and presentation, but thankfully, the authentic taste remains completely intact. It's like a delicious flashback to the night markets of Taipei – the same incredible aromas, the same satisfying textures, and those unmistakable, bold flavors that define Taiwanese cuisine.
If you're craving a true taste of Taiwan without the long flight, look no further. This spot has managed to capture the magic and deliver an experience that genuinely competes with the real deal. Highly, highly recommended!“
